They were willing to make the trip out to Hood Canal to measure and install new carpet. The install was done while we were not there, and when we saw it, informed them that the wrong carpet had been installed. Apparently it was a mistake in shipping the wrong carpet, so the manufacturer sent the right carpet and they redid the install on their/the manufacturers dime.Great service, nice and easy to work with, and weve been thrilled with the finished product.

I wanted basic rolled vinyl flooring for my laundry room. They had just what I wanted & installed it within the week.

Went to the showroom this morning. Sales guy did not wear a or even had one at all! Am I missing something? Store employees don’t need to wear a mask anymore? I can imagine how the installation would go at our home. Probably no safety measures either. I left and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I love when a plan comes together!! Houston was honest and very helpful at choosing our carpet. He wasnt pushy which was a nice change. He told us when to expect the installation. Alex arrived on time was super efficient. He did a wonderful job. We couldnt have asked for anything to be better. We will be back!!

The folks at News and brothers are very courteous. They listened extremely well and provide a good advice. The person that came to install did a wonderful job. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Also did comparison pricing and while they were not the cheapest the quality was by far the best.

Houston was the sales person and I enjoyed working with him. No pressure, just gave me all the information I was looking for so I could compare different qualities of linoleum. The installers were literally the best I’ve seen. My bathroom had lots of weird angles, and it looks flawless. Totally in love with my floor, I would totally recommend Neilson Brothers Flooring.

Since 1968 I have purchased carpeting from Nielsen. In the fall of 2017 I purchased my 3rd wall to wall carpet for the living room, dining and hall. I am very happy with how it looks and how it feels to walk on. Nielsen installed the carpet on the date they said they would do so and moved all of my furniture around, with the exception of my grand piano. I knew in advance I would need a piano company to move it.

Were very happy with our new floors. The installers were very competent and went the extra mile to make us happy when our materials order wasnt complete. Now everything is done and we couldnt be more pleased.

Houston was fabulous!!!We were getting ready to put our house on the market but we needed to replace the carpet before we put it up for sale. Houston not only got us financed but also managed to get us a great looking carpet on budget. Purchased a high end carpet 10 years ago and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, a renters pet ruined 1 room. We went back and purchased a similar product for that 1 room and they were able to install within 24 hours. These guys are fantastic!

Houston at the Auburn store was wonderful to work with. He is very knowledgeable and whenever I had a queston it was handled to my satisfaction and quickly. If I called and he had another customer, he called me back as soon as he could. I have had no issues with the carpet as it is so new, but I know if I do, Houston will make sure that it will be taken care of. I have never gotten the impression that just because I have paid for the carpet, he is done helping me. In fact, he has helped me more since the carpet was installed as he wasnt even the original one who wrote up my order. I would definitely ask for Houston if you are looking to get new flooring/carpet etc. I will recommend him to all my friends.

My wife and I had a great experience at Nielsen Brothers Flooring in Auburn. We purchased new carpet and vinyl flooring. Our salesman Roy Ornelas was outstanding with his knowledge and service. If we ever need any other flooring in the future we will definitely go back.

We had a very good experience dealing with Brett from Nielsen Brothers for new carpet in 5 rooms of our home. Brett came out and did an excellent calculation of my square footage needs Unlike the box store that calculated 300 square feet over what I needed. The installers were friendly, professional, very well organized. We had a small issue with carpet crush in the last room that was installed. This was no fault of Nielsen Brothers or Mohawk. Carpet nape being crushed is a fluke and sometimes the nature of the beast. Brett was very proactive in contacting Mohawk and ordering a replacement for the family room.I will be returning to Nielsen Brothers for carpet in an additional room.

It was great sitting down with Brett to figure out a warranty claim issue. Brett took the time to explain how everything works listened to my concerns and in the end came to an agreement.

The installation of our flooring was smooth and easy. The crew was considerate, fast, and did great clean up. Very good job.

We drove an hour to get to the Auburn Store on Thursday, September 26th. Online, it says the store is open until 6 PM. We arrived at 4:45 PM and found a handwritten note taped to the door that said Thursday 9-5. We walked in with 15 minutes before 5. A guy came out and said, May I help you? All the lights were off in the store. My husband said, We are closing on a house in Algona and looking for flooring. The employee said, Well unfortunately I am walking out the door, but we are open tomorrow. My husband said, We just drove an hour to get here. We turned around and left. It is too bad that Nielsen Brothers Flooring has no interest in the several thousand dollars we are going to spend getting new flooring in our home. I will be calling to speak to a Manager tomorrow. We wanted to give our money to a locally owned company, but I guess this local company isnt the one.

Arrived on time, as scheduled. 2 employees to demo, and install simple carpet in a mstr bedroom of a 1000sq ft rambler with a pair of garden (back) doors & a 6 closet in Bonney Lake. Clean, quick removal. They did a good job with a very quick install...all accomplished with a minimum of extraneous chatter...& when they were gone, like good installers, it was like no-one had been there. I put the trim down, so it was a good edge. thank-you. We are pleased to recommend you.

After having trouble finding a flooring installer to help us fix some issues with our basement subfloor we checked in with Nielsen Bros. They went above and beyond - finding an installer who could help us with the subfloor problems. We ended up with a much higher quality flooring by buying through Nielsen and they were able to have the install done very quickly, allowing us to finish our project ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend them. Love the finished product!

The staff sold me a product that they stated is durable, cheaper, and goes great in kitchens. Duraceramic is a terrible flooring product for kitchens because it has a white underlayer that shows if it is scratched. I performed a test by dropping a fork on it, and sure enough it left a very noticeable whit mark. When I tried to return the flooring they would not accept it or refund my money. Do not trust the sales associates, they will bend the truth to make a sale.

I would highly recommend Neilson Brothers. I had my floors done about a year ago and Michael Stump was my salesman. He was so professional, he made our appointment to measure my area that needed flooring in my place and set a time and was very punctual. Michael was great with communicating with me each and every step along the way until the job was complete. Peter was my installer per Michaels recommendation and he was fabulous! Such a hard worker and a perfectionist. Then I had some water damage a year later and Michael Richardson helped me with getting my floors installed again. He was also very professional. Peter again was my installer and did another amazing job. I was very pleased with the level of professionalism both Michael Stump, Michael Richardson and Peter demonstrated. I will continue to recommend Neilson Brothers .

We didn’t use them but the salesman immediately said they couldn’t compete with Lowes pricing, due supposedly to carrying more expensive materials, which was helpful.

I have had carpet done by Nielsen Brothers twice. They are very nice, professional, and the installers we very quick, and did a awesome job.

We purchased carpet for our livingroom and bedrooms. We got a great price. Our sales man was Huston. He was wonderful through the process. They held on to our carpet till we were ready for install. The installers were very curtious, showed up on time and finished in a timely manor. Had a great experience. Would recommend Nielsons to anyone in the market for new flooring.

A Dear friend who happens to be 89. Had all new carpet purchased and installed.. nie higher end carpet at that. With carpeting her prior homes with Neilsons carpet she has been a loyal client. She has made several calls as the carpet has been installed so poorly with in months it needed stretching from improper installation. The door stops are put so far out in the walk way the doors are almost a quarter closed at all times, they never put any of the hardware back in any of her sliding closet doors.The owner has been called several times and has yet to return this 89 year old ladys call to correct their pathetic installation. Any buisness that has this type of ethics should be ashamed of them self 89 years old or not.To bad pictures of it cant be posted on it.Hope she dont ever trip and fall from it.

We needed to buy a new carpet after living in our home for a couple years. The previous owners had cats and the carpets smelled and had many stains, even after hiring a steam cleaning service and using a rental carpet cleaner a few times. The staff was absolutely amazing. We purchased the Mohawk Smart Strand carpet for our bedrooms and downstairs. After comparing prices with Lowes and Home Depot we calculated that we would save over a $1000 going with Nielsen Brothers Flooring. The manager worked with us to find the perfect color and allowed me to take home many samples without putting a deposit down, unlike Lowes and Home Depot who wanted to charge me $25 to check out a sample. The installation went very smooth and the carpet installers were friendly and cautious to not damage our hardwood. They nailed down squeaky floorboards, vacuumed before and after the installation to make sure there was no dirt under the carpet, in the crevasses, or any loose fibers after the install. They were even friendly to our pets. The carpet looks amazing and we couldnt be happier with the Smart Strand. Almost nothing will stain it, I tried to stain one of the samples the manager gave me and I couldnt, not even with ten different colored Sharpies, water and a little rubbing alcohol took everything up. I tried to stain it with red wine, bleach, bird dropping, mud from outside, crayon, and motor oil and it always came up without fading the carpet. I am very happy with the service that I received from Nielsen Brothers Flooring and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors. It is nice to support a local business, especially in these times when many people are out of work. Also they dont charge for removal or haul away, I was quoted at Lowes for $0.20 a square foot for removal which would have added an extra $250. Thank you Nielsen Brothers Flooring, I will certainly be back when I need to remove the vinyl from the bathrooms and laundry room to replace with ceramic tiles. Excellent service, I cant thank you enough, my house feels brand new.
