Traveling Tastebuds stopped in this morning for breakfast and was not disappointed. So glad this favorite restaurant survived the Covid pandemic because it sure is a great place to eat! The food is always good😋, the prices are fair, the owner and staff are super nice😍 I highly recommend eating here for breakfast or lunch!!

A friendly home-town style diner with great menu choices! I ordered the cheeseburger omelet special which came with toast and hashbrowns. The omelet was fluffy and packed with meat and cheeses. Potatoes were very flavorful. The service was quick and everyone was very friendly. If I was from the area, I could see myself becoming a regular here very easily! Coffee was delicious and HOT.

The food and service were excellent. Not a single complaint. Jane our server made us feel at home. Waffles and fresh fruit with whipped cream, bacon, eggs and cheese were delicious.Definitely will be back

Great place! Excellent, friendly service and very reasonable prices. Stopped in on a Maine to D.C. drive and they got us everything we needed really quickly. The food (egg and cheese sandwiches, etc.) was delicious and the coffee was great too. Classic diner food and friendly customers and staff alike. Looking forward to the next visit.

I been going to this place for breakfast. In my younger years when I coached. Oxford tee ball, minor league, little league. Oxford girls softball coming from coaching in Worcester Jack Barry. Both boys and girls. Moved to Oxford and started fast pitch for the girls league. They were behind in softball. I was VP & manager of the teams. Started first annual towns tournament. We won the first year all stars girls fast pitch softball. I also coached boys youth Basket ball. I would take the kids for breakfast was awesome. I went there a few weeks ago waited over 1 hour for my food. People came after me and ate then left I still was waiting. Carls dinner was also better back in the 90s..

When my kids were younger, this was our regular place because the food was good, the prices were reasonable, it was friendly and homey. We moved away a number of years ago, and when we came to the area for a visit, we had to go to the Heritage. We are delighted that everything is the same. The staff remembered us after all the years away. It was like we were there just last week.

Took us an hour NO JOKE an hour to get us our food. We finally gave up and asked for it too go. They still made us pay full price and didn’t not seem to care that we were displeased. They then realized that they had forgotten the bacon with one of the meals. We did not even bother and got on the road. We opened up our food and realized we were missing a pancake that we still ended up paying for. Extremely disappointing I do not recommend going here under any circumstances

Ive been coming here for years. The food is always good and everyone that works there is very nice. They get very busy, especially on weekends, so the food can take a while, since its made to order. But its a great local place, and theyll remember you if you go more than once!

Nice staff. Very old fashioned place. Its like a throwback to the mid 60s. Clientele is mostly older folks meeting with friends and so on. Nice place, really.

Terrible. Go anywhere else. This neighborhood breakfast spot used to be okay but today was awful. We ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches---45 minutes later 2 out of the 3 arrived. I had to ask our waitress 25 minutes in to check on our order. Portions were very small and very expensive for what you got. Will never return. The waitress never apologized for the incredibly long wait or even addressed why my order came out 5 minutes after everyone else got theirs. Again-waste of money.

A typical coffee joint. Menu is limited bit they breakfast all day. I had the omelette. Very filling. The bread was fresh and the home fries (red potatoes) were delicious. The service was quick and polite. Reasonable price.

I used to go here all the time as a kid and it was an awesome atmosphere but it is lacking in its old age. The food seems to be either hit or miss now a days. Really wish they could figure out how to be a little more consistent with service and food quality.

I dont know how this place is operating. We sat ourselfs (which is fine) we sat down. Took about 20 minutes for a waitress to come over. We ordered coffee then we kept waiting for them to come back. A waitress asked us if they took our order yet and then just left us...we left after sitting for 30 minutes. Worst service ever.

The food, 9 times out of 10 is actually delicious. Sometimes they rush and things get out to the table a little less than fully cooked which is never a nice surprise. I used to go there all the time with my Grandma and now we go very seldomly. The food is awesome when they take their time. If the place isnt busy, I definitely suggest the steak and cheese omelette. Im not a huge egg + cheese fan, but in that combination, its absolutely fabulous And the homefries. If theyre really busy (the other day we stood and waited for a table for maybe 15-20 minutes and then finally sat ourselves and had to push dirty dishes to the end of the table) order something simple, like a waffle or hash browns because its less likely they will send them out less than fully done. My moms eggs were runny in the middle (she got them scrambled...) its an awesome little restaurant when they have the time to fully prepare a meal, but when theyre busy, forget it... Especially on weekdays, they have 2 waitresses for every shift so its busy and there are only two people going about the entire restaurant which clearly needs 3 people when its busy. On weekends, though, there are 3 waitresses on so it runs smoother, and like I said, when its quiet, its fabulous.

I arrived at 8:50am with my sister today and we had placed our order at 9:01am on the dot. My sister ordered a chocolate chip pancake along with a side, while I ordered a crepe with a side. I had remembered during my last visit that they didnt have the ingredients for crepes, so I made sure the waitress took a note that Id have a western omelette instead if the crepe was unavailable. She took all of this down. It took 45 minutes for her to return to our table with my sisters order and our sides, she never returned in between. The waitress told me that my crepe was on its way. 5 minutes after that, (50 minutes waiting now), she returned saying they didnt have the ingredients for crepes. I waited 50 minutes for this waitress to tell me they didnt have my order made after all, and she didnt remember to have the omelette made instead if the crepe was unavailable. She then told me to order something else and how she would have it brought to me in 2 minutes. It took their chef 45 minutes to make a pancake for my sister, and we ran out of time anyways from waiting, so I declined. The worst part was seeing families of 4 who arrived after us, receive their orders within 20 minutes. We were the only table neglected. I cant help but feel there was prejudice as my sister and I are of middle eastern descent, while the rest of the customers were all white. My sisters pancake was also very poorly cooked. Breakfast is the easiest meal to make, there is no excuse for this. I only hope the owners read this and work on fixing their service. Every customer matters. We will not be returning, ever.

Very good food fast service.

Ive been here a handful of times and there has been something wrong every time. From messing up food orders, disappearing waitresses/horrible service, to mediocre food at best. My advice is to steer clear of this place

Though the waitress was a lovely, cheerful woman and the food was tasty, it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive on a Saturday morning. After all this time in business, they should know when their busy times are going to occur and be better prepared.

From my personal experience, the service lacks most of time. Every time I go their, Im always waiting on my food for atleast 45mins. And I always order the same 2 egg scrambled w/bacon. That should take 30mins tops. The food is very delicious and the only reason why I keep coming back! Maybe hiring some young servers would help out the serve flow. Cheers :)

It took 50 minutes to be served our breakfast in a not full breakfast shoppe- two orders were scrambled eggs and bacon, the other eggs benedict. This was at 11:30 Sunday morning.

Omlet good, raisen bread dry with no flavor, older waitress SO SLOW. Had to flag down the other waitress for coffee refills. We wont be back!!
