I am a sophomore at Auburn currently living at 221 Armstrong. I am in no way stretching the truth when I say that this CVS is the only thing standing between myself and severe hunger. I like to think of myself as a fairly optimistic guy, but even I know there are few sure things in this life. This CVS is one of those things. 24HRS 7 days a week. No games. The world could be ending and they would still be open. Scorched earth and they’re still in here serving the people. I hope to one day get married inside this CVS. Maybe raise my kids here, who knows.
Never went to the pharmacy but I have been several times just to pick up a few things. I love the store layout and friendliness of the cashiers. A great place to go to pick up over the counter meds, college supplies, or any other small items. Definitely saved me with them being open 24 hours when everywhere else is closed at night.
Always great customer service and the employees wear mask.
Went to have a prescription filled a couple of weeks ago. Was told it was going to be about an hour or an hour and a half. Since it was days before qualifying exams for my masters program, I decided to try and wait it out instead driving to my house back, then back to cvs, and then back to my house, because I had my computer and could study. About an hour goes by, and all I hear from the other side of the cash registers is gossipy talk, complaining and conversations of “when did you get here?” “Oh, so we both get off at seven,” etc. I ended up getting sick of hearing it and bought a couple gaterades and asked the girl who had just clocked in and who was checking me out how much longer it would be. A girl, who had not helped me the first time but had just overheard the initial conversation, chimed in before she could inquire with them and said “an hour to an hour and a half at least”. I went home, living less than two miles from the cvs and right after I kicked off my shoes and got set up at my desk I received a message my prescription was ready. Less than 15 minutes later. Unprofessional and unhelpful due to the pettiness and disregard of customer service from pharmacy staff. Highly recommend going to the CVS on Glenn Avenue instead of this one. I’ve never had a problem with them, and pharmacy staff member Lee is my favorite. Always so kind, even when backed up with “17 prescription orders” to fill before my own, unlike south college.
The best service around. As a student I appreciate every bit of cash I can save here and there. I came in and was paying over $100 for my prescriptions and that did not sit right with their team of pharmacy staff. So, they took an extra couple of minutes of their shift to go over why I was paying so much and got by total down to $40. Now that is customer service!
The pharmacist, a wowan named Alex, just went above, and Beyond, by Not Quiting untill she could help me. I have been waiting 2 days on Walgreens, and CVS in Opelika. Alex, at CVS on college street got it done in 5 minutes. Great Job Alex, Thanks.
Always am greeted when I arrive. Have prompt service and find the things I need.
A cashier at the front completely invaded my space and spent a lot of time trying to open my grocery bag (even though I was at self checkout), then he ended up licking his fingers to open it. During the COVID pandemic especially, this made me feel extremely unsafe and disrespected.
Do not recommend the pharmacy. They will ignore you when standing in line and go to other people just walking up.
I had many troubles with a prepaid money card, I almost lost 300$, but the store manager was very patient and helped me for days until he got to refund me. I very much appreciate his help and kindness with my situation!
They charged me $8.99 for a 4 pack of Charmin toilet paper. They are definitely price gouging during the current crisis.
Great store Joel is a great manager
Great for quick grocery shopping. Friendly staff and quick checkout times. One of the self checkout machines tends to freeze up, though, so be careful.Note: the pharmacy no longer accepts Tricare Standard insurance funded prescriptions.
Convenient, in my way out of the University, perfect to buy milk, cereal, even gifts from the University. Always with good deals and good wine! The young girls working here always have an smile for the clients and very helpful!
Great store with friendly staff! They have many items to buy with convenience. Glad I have them nearby! Highly recommend!
The cashier was so rude. She refused to accept my coupons because she was not familiar with the stores coupon policy regarding coupon overages. (However, I should have not been in such a hurry and presented her with a copy of the policy in an effort to rectify the situation, thus the 3 star instead of 2 star rating.) She seemed frustrated that I chose not to purchase my items when she wouldnt honor the coupons. Store is clean and very nice, but the customer service was awful!
The guy who works at the pharmacy was an absolute jerk to me today. When people come in looking to fill a prescription, they are likely not feeling great, and to be met with rudeness is not fun. When I asked if he could do something simple for me he responded with, I can, but I am not going to. I have honestly never felt more disrespected. A friend of mine had a similar experience with this employee. His name is Anton and I suggest that if you go to this CVS you avoid him at all cost.
Inexcusably incompetent and rude. Their point of sale software clearly has major issues and results in massive lines and multiple attempts needed to complete a transaction -- and this has been a problem for DAYS. Their left register has this problem; when I asked the cashier to use another register, she lied and said that it wouldnt be open to use. Sure enough, the manager came to the front and activated the register, and in a very snarky tone told me I didnt need to be upset when all I did was point out that their store had an ongoing technical issue. I will be notifying corporate since clearly not even store management has an interest in being professional. I was also not given a receipt; Ive worked in retail and I know that the only conceivable reason a receipt wouldnt be given is so that the employee names wouldnt be disclosed, so whoever worked on the night of April 4, 2018 around 9:10 PM should be held accountable.
It’s a well run store, and the pharmacy staff are so nice! I get all my meds here and I haven’t been disappointed.
Very convenient. I really like that it is open 24 hours.
Cashier on friday night was really rude and sarcastic to me and i left feeling annoyed
Its best attribute is convenience. However, on two separate occasions, I have been bait and switched on posted sale prices, and had to go through a hassle to have the item removed and put back because they wouldnt honor the sale price posted on the shelf.
Nice store clerk everyone is always super nice!
Shopping here!
Poor customer service
