This is a very clean and well thought out grocery store. They offer a wide variety of foods. There’s plenty of staff to help find what you’re looking for. One of my favorite things is the walk and beer cooler! It’s nice to go look for beer on a hot day inside this cooler. They have a way variety of different beers. Lots of local beer as well. The checkout line is hardly ever long. They also have a great deli.

It was my 1st time in the new location in Lake of the Pines and it is nice. For some reason it felt smaller to me than the old location but maybe it is just because it is spread out little more. It has a more open floor plan which can definitely change the perspective of the overall size and content. Much better location access.

Nice store, great customer service and friendly staff. The only thing I can’t stand.is the homeless crew you have camped in your parking lot. Some issues are expected with shopping centers. Please don’t wait for it to get worse before you address the issues. Thanks .....Update! They resolved the issues and removed the riff raff. You guys rock!

Great selection of fresh products and the staff is as friendly and helpful as any Ive ever known. Meat department guy chased me down on the other side of the store to bring me a custom order I ask for. My only gripe is pricing. I get it..new building, small company but a lot of basic items a expensive compared to other stores. But anyway, I love the store and will always shop there for specific items.

This store has vastly improved from its original location. The prices are high but thats cause its small town business. All this would be okay, but they run out of items. Today they were out of strawberries, bananas, Mt. Dew... the list could go on and on. Its hard to want to support small stores if they dont carry enough items to make it through the day, I was there at 430pm. That being said the service is great the team members are friendly, and even though its a larger location it still has the small town feel.

Holliday Market is a good wholesome store but this one on the corner of combine and 49 cater to the sheep of Lake of the Pines and you can spot them right away wearing mask that dont do nothing but at least makes them feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Such a good store for value. They carry quality products at affordable prices. Very organic friendly.

Great place to get a few things and get yummy sandwiches too! I recommend getting one of their sandwiches. You wont be disappointed!

Understaffed store with HIGH prices. Workers are very rude. They are continuously out of items, drive to Safeway save yourself the aggravation!!

Ive shopped here a few times in the past, and decided to try the new location. I had my kids with me and had to do some quick shopping. I was disappointed to find I got over charged for everything due to not having a rewards card and I wasnt even offered one when going through checkout. Would have been nice to save quite a bit of money, or to have the cashier offer one so I could have signed up.

Nice clean new store close to our home at lop.But shelves are not fully stocked in many cases. Spices section has no thyme spice even different brands were at least 4 each time I’m there.Masking is encouraged but each time I’ve been there were customers who did not wear a mask even though you provide them as you walk in the door.Produce is not as fresh as it could be. Spoils quickly.

Have updated our review!It appears most folks are now wearing masks although we understand it is hard to enforce in this county.October 2020- We were so excited when the market reopened and everyone seemed so friendly. Flash forward a few months and now I hear that management aren’t enforcing masks and are somewhat encouraging anti-masking.

Today was my first time to this market. It was beautifully laid out. Spacious and super friendly staff. The produce section was abundant and fresh with tons of organic veggies and fruits. So happy that you’re open. I had to ask different folks where to find things and they were patient and kind. Very impressed. Kombucha is hidden behind local beers

The first thing the cashier said to me was I dont need the water after I had put a gallon of water on the belt, not welcome in or hi or good morning.... I told her I didnt understand what she meant.... she then showed me her screen and I still didnt get it, then I realized that she wanted me to leave the water in the cart so she didnt have to handle it, I usually have a good experience at this store but all I can say is, avoid the cashier with the pink hair and rude attitude.

The works are very rude. Ive been in there a couple times now and both times Ive asked a question and I get rude answers back, there not helpful at all. I asked for some cheese when it was out and the lady was putting the cheese on the shelf and would not open the box to give me some sliced pepper jack cheese. I hope they get better employees in the new store.

The best, fresh produce. Shelves always neat and stocked. Nice deli selections and bakery goods. Good selection of meats. Full lineup of wine and alcohol. Helpful, friendly staff.

Always friendly and helpful employees and customers. Items are fresh and Im always able to get whatever item I want on sale or not. At times I find deals not advertised. Some items are a little pricey but you are paying for convenience.

Great small local convenient community location store if you live near by. Prices are typical for smaller grocery store but great for when youre in a pinch for time. Most staff are friendly and helpful. Havent purchased grocery items like meat yet to fairly give a review on quality. Parking lot shared with few other stores and restaurants but never had issue finding space.

Since moving here three years ago one of my favorite things about this area is our big-little market. I really appreciate the selection for a small town store. Some things may cost a bit more but the convenience makes it more than worth it. The people are friendly and always willing to help.

Its a nice, clean, and cozy little market. The employees are always pleasant. Im pleased that it is my local market. Due to its size, there arent alot of overwhelming options. I like that. I dont need 3 dozen jars of jelly to choose from. Half a dozen is sufficient. Thank you Holiday Market!

Limited produce, especially organic. Doesnt feel clean. It serves a small community and has basics. It is a great store when you dont want to travel for half an hour.

New location is easier to park at and inside is beautiful. Very friendly staff.

This store is great. Organic produce, will order special items for customers, friendly staff who takes time to say Hi and learn your name, hours are good, local foods offered (like Truckee Bread) and craft beers. Holiday now has a sandwich shop like the Meadow Vista store. The new store is huge on CA-49 is huge. Love it.

Decent grocery store. Not too crowded although on busier days you may have to wait up to 5 minutes to check out. Staff are friendly and good selection

For a local small market, this place is pretty decent. They carry many odd ball items, and have a walk in beer section with a good variety. That being said, prices will be higher than the big stores.

A bit more expensive that Auburn or Grass Valley markets. Super convenient for those of us in between the two, well stocked, well placed. Parking can be a pain sometimes. The savers program is useful.

Holiday Market is our go to store its the closest one to our house so when we need that gallon of milk that loaf of bread or some butter its the go to one of my favorite things of holiday market is their fruit for some reason they have the best selection of melons apples peaches and its not that hard on right stuff thats in most supermarkets every melon Ive ever got at that place has been ripe soft juicy and ready to eat

Holiday market has both a vast selection of quality groceries coupled with a very friendly staff! They also have a cool rewards point system that allows me to get free round table pizza several times a year!

11-2019 Small store, they were very busy with not enough checkers, so I did not buy anything.3-2020 Had to remove a star. Decided to give them another chance, was first in line with items on belt and ready to scan, but the checker Angelo said he was going to check out this other guy first because he only had one thing. I said that was not ok, (there was a checker next to us with no line,) he said it was ok and took the other person instead. Angelo made sure he got in the last word, and was extremely dismissive of me, or what I thought. Was surprised at how rude he was.I only bought $130.00 worth of groceries this time, no big deal, but I usually eat on a regular basis ... oh well, Im sure I can find another store with food to buy.Way to go Angelo!

Love these little hometown grocery stores. Prices are a little higher but they have a lot of non dairy options and their produce is beautiful.

Very nice market, and very nice people. I was surprised that the costs werent as high as I thought for a independent market.

Three Strikes and Youre Out; I like to shop at this Holiday Market, its convenient, they carry some organic and I like supporting my community but the last 4 times Ive shopped there I have been overcharged. I have been overcharged from $10 to $4 on items that I have purchased more than one of, i.e. charged for 3 items of the same when I only purchased 2. I cant possibly be the only one this is happening to! Four times in a row? I ALWAYS CHECK MY RECEIPT AND THE LAST FOUR TIMES I HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED. I always go back into the store to get it corrected even after I have driven all the way home. I asked why they thought this was happening and the response I got was, sometimes an items gets rung up before it crosses the scanner. WELL WHY HAVENT YOU FIXED THIS PROBLEM???, unless you dont care that you are ripping off your customers by overcharging us. How many other hard working folks has this happened to? Do they check their receipts? What about seniors on a fixed income? Food is expensive as it is but overcharging folks in your own community is just WRONG, especially when Holiday Mkt. knows what the problem is. This store has now become inconvenient for me. Good idea to check your receipt before leaving this store.
