Poor customer service. Never answer their phones when calling. Just all around never right, most everything I bought on line I returned due to poor quality. Their prices are a little lower than Lowes the reason I shop with them. But will not buy big items.

Home Depot is the place to go for all your house hold needs we found a great deal on a celling fan! All employees were extremely helpful! We need help cutting blinds as well. The employee stopped what he was doing and came right over to help us nice young fellow wish I got his name!

After not being in the Home Depot store in Auburn, MA during this COVID time my husband has been going instead. Last night I was greeted by Elaine at the Customer Service desk. She said Wow...I havent seen you forever. I couldnt believe that she remembered me. I havent been in the store for over a year now. She has helped me numerous times in the store and has always been so kind and goes out of her way to be very helpful. Not all staff are like that so I am very happy when I go there and Elaine is working. Your company is very blessed to have Elaine as part of your team.Sincerely,Susan Gilligan

HD was well-stocked, accessible, pleasant. I had my daughter with me, who had never shopped for lighting, electrical equipment before. I gave her the particulars; dimmable, 40 watt equivalent LEDs, and she set out like a hound in pursuit. She had em in hand before I even got to what I was looking for. Love that kid. So, yeah, HD was great.

Can usually find what I am looking for but never without someones help. A good percentage of the time the employee is wrong the first time anyway. Ends up being a search party and then my bf changes his mind and we have to start all over again.

Did a kitchen remodel using home Depot worst experience ever.The guy they sent to my home to do the initial measurements measured wrong this was discovered during the design when that same contractor overpriced to insulation of the cabinets I chose to use somebody else was forced to sign an agreement making home Depot not responsible for wrong measurements after they already knew he measured wrong. Fortunately Ivory measured it all myself and was sure all the measurements I made.The countertop people showed up they had cut the stone wrong had to come back a second time they forgot to bring a couple pieces of the backsplash so I had to come back a third time did they do it right yes but every time they have to come back you have to take the time off to be there so they can install. Same thing happen with the floor they were 3 days late starting the project and they had to come back and fix their mistakes. My suggestion hire your own contractors do not use home Depot they send the worst people to your house.

Today was the absolute worst experience I could’ve ever had at Home Depot. After calling customer service a total of seven times, reaching out to the DM (who’s number is incorrect at the store,) his assistant, the assistant manager and being dodged by the store manager I will no longer be returning to Home Depot end taking my business elsewhere. I came into the store after speaking with a supervisor from customer care and was told about the price match policy and that I would be able to have the price match honored because it fell within the lines of the public policy on the website visible to customers. After making my way to auburn’s Home Depot and speaking to a sales rep and making sure I was able to be price matched the assistant store manager, Donna, decided against the written policy using an excuse that was not written in the policy and then she went on to state that the policy was very vague and that she has manager discretion. Meaning, she can make a new policy whenever she sees fit. The price match was $160 less than what Hone Depot was selling the item that I wanted to purchase and that included shipping, however I didn’t want to waste the sunny day and decided that I could go to my local HD and take advantage of the price match that they love to mention on their site and in commercials. I spent two hours in the store on the phone and going back and forth with representatives that all said I was well within the policy. I called the district manager, Marcio(?) who’s number isn’t updated in the stores directory and eventually was given the number to his assistance, Jen who was easily the most helpful part of the transaction. The manager, Dustin, whom was seen walking around the store had all of a sudden “left early” when the assistant to the DM had given me his name (after being told for two whole hours that my only option was Donna, prior to finding out he left I was told he was in a meeting.) Donna had said she wouldn’t honor the price match and the least she can do is offer $80 off the lawn mower I wanted. I left voicemails, I’ve been hung up on, I’ve been walked away from. I am beyond disgusted in the way this was handled, it’s disheartening to know that Home Depot employees can read the policy and decided when and with who they want to follow it for. A customer who had came in with the first 20 minutes of me being there had received a price match and it was a very easy transaction. Not sure if the managers need some new ethics training but I can definitely say not all customers are treated equally here.

Bought my Black & Decker Leaf Blower there. Went back to get a Battery charger for it. Asked a worker there where to find them and the worker said We don’t sell black and Decker 🧐 even though there are signs in the isles saying black and decker. 🤨. Apparently there workers don’t know what they sell. Very disappointed.

Ive been calling tool rental for 3days now and they pick up and hang up and when I ask for store manager same thing, it take 5secons to atleast say Im busy! Im Never going to this store or any other home depot, the service is horrible and cant find anything, Felt like going there and just calling them as im there and making a video and post it to you tube ! Spead the news and stop them from wasting anyone elses time!

Home Depot is great. Its so great, in fact, that youll find it is super busy with too many customers who block aisles, clog lines and other things to demonstrate a lack of basic human consideration. I suppose this is what happens when society drifts toward individualism.Of course none of that is Home Depots fault. Its just a good place to go to observe the current state of humanity.

Im really disappointed and frustrated. I wanted to buy a very specific type of inswing double patio door - I see only one on the site. But thats good because its just what I want. But before I ordered it I had some specific questions and concerns. I thought perhaps it would be best to go to my local Home Depot and get answers to my questions and order thru the store. Well Ive been in twice now and Ive been totally blown off ! Im older and not very tech savvy and if Im buying a $1700 door I want it to be right. Finally one of the three old guys sitting chatting asked if I needed help. Long story short they cant order the door for me because they dont have the door in their inventory I would have to purchase it online 😖 Okay so can you help me with questions I have ? I bring the door up on the website on my phone. Oh well we cant tell you anything about that door ! Well my questions are basic and could possibly be asked of any door order. OMG - he asked one of the other guys and the guy told them online isnt their problem. So before punching the rude guys in the face I decided to leave ! Still no answer to my questions and I tried calling phone numbers in the product description area - Nothing ! So now Im not sure what to do - obviously Ill look elsewhere or order custom from a local company. Im so mad - mostly because Ive been a faithful Home Depot customer for many years - I expected better 😒

TLDR: nice customer service associates horrible delivery system and an assistant manager who needs to learn from his associates on how to listen and care for the customer correctly.While the Customer Service associates were helpful and patient when I ordered a fence from Home Depot Auburn the wrong fence was delivered. They then said to rectify the situation I would need to place a second order and when the first incorrect order was returned to the store I would be refunded the money. After the first incorrect order was picked up it was simply redelivered to us 2 days later. When I returned to Home Depot Auburn for a 3rd time they said their was an error in their system and my correct order would arrive. The following week a partial order was delivered and the incorrect order was picked up. After waiting the remainder of the week without fence posts delivered and no money refunded I went back to Home Depot for a 4th time. This time a kind associate gave me a store credit to purchase the posts at another store and said that the money should be in my account by Monday. I gave it until the following Friday and the money still wasn’t there so I went back to Home Depot Auburn for a 5th time! This time the assistant manager blew me off took the wrong receipt and did not refund me the correct amount of money. DO NOT GO TO AUBURN HOME DEPOT FOR ANY LARGE ORDERS!

Review pertains mainly to Curbside Pick-UpI ordered on a Friday for a curbside pickup. I got the email that it was ready within 2 hours. Granted, it was just a vacuum, but they were the only store around that had the exact one I wanted in stock. Regardless, many stores are not that quick, even for one item.I went to pick it up on a beautiful Saturday, around noon. I was worried as its a well known VERY busy time for Home Depot.The locations for Curbside Pickup were clearly marked and there were plenty of open spots. I pulled up, clicked Im here in the email they sent and waited.The wait time was less than 5 minutes, Id say 3 minutes at most.I was very impressed over all by their curbside pick up service. Obviously, during this virus many stores have started doing it, but most are not this organized and definitely not as quick, especially during very busy times.That 2 minute wait for my vacuum allowed me to see all the pretty flowers in the garden center and I ended up going in the anyway! The employees in the garden center were incredibly friendly and very helpful. All around, it was a really good experience at home depot today, even though tbe place was insanely busy.

I am a veteran of the Air Force. I got out in 1993. I was honorably discharged due to medical reasons and I know that Home Depot gives a veteran discount. In Lumber today I was told they could not take the copy of my DD214 off my phone. I dont carry it around with me because if it is lost or damaged it is a pain to get a new one. Lowes keeps my veteran status on my account so I dont have this concern. Not only did he not want to accept it, but he was rude. I would rather drive to Lowes than deal with a store that doesnt want to honor my DD214 as proof of service. Also, I had an ID to prove it was me.

This store has a large selection of items! But it has a lot of problems. Often the online stock is inaccurate; when I see there are 100 boxes of nails in stock, there are often less, so many times i have had to drive to several different home depot stores before i finally have what Im looking for. Pick up is a bit of a problem, too. My dad went to pick up an order for me, and he was waiting for 2 hours before getting it. There are a lot of problems with ordering ahead, as many times i get there and they tell me that they dont have the item after telling me its ready. Sometimes they tell me that its at a completely different store, which ends up being inaccurate. Overall the organization is something to be desired, and i would love to see some changes made here! :)

I dont know what is going on in the Auburn MA store but your service is at an all time low. We were looking for a wood chipper. 1 employee didnt even stand up, just sat there and gave vague directions to two different a two areas with no machines. One other employee told us to look in a third area with no luck. We were also supposed to pick up Scotts lawn care, large purchase, and it seems your employees were more concerned about there conversations. We left empty handed.

I was in this Home Depot location yesterday. Just about every employee I interacted with was, to say the least, unpleasant. Im not sure if that should be attributed to the fact that everyone has to wear masks during their entire shift. Which I can somewhat understand becoming irritated after a while, because they are very uncomfortable. However, when it is your job to service the public, you need to maintain some level professional at all times. Even in not so comfortable situations. The staff here screamed at several customers. Some were very short with customers, including myself. And others stood around not doing anything, and not wanting to help customers who either appeared to be in need of help, or outright asked for it and were ignored. During this visit the customers were nicer to each other than the staff was to customers. Strange, since the staff are paid to be there!

This HD seems to be well stocked most of the time. For whatever reason I find the store set up to be different than any other HDs I usually go to. So far I havent found overly friendly or helpful staff but Im new to the area and Ive only been in here a few times. Customer service seems friendly enough.

Went to get paint and they were incredibly busy today. I found a perfect match for the color I was trying to match on one of the swatches. While waiting an older woman that works in kitchen, but used to work in paint decided to help. She suggested instead of going with the matching swatch to do the paint match method instead because it’s more accurate. The other paint technician arrived and started rushing to make my paint. She seemed rattled and couldn’t find most things she was looking for. Finally, she did a tester on the top and blow dried it for a second. I informed her that it appeared too dark. She stated that it would get lighter when it dried completely. Not being a paint expert I trusted her and came home to start my project. The paint has now dried, and as suspected it is too dark. Now instead of needing to paint a few spots I need to paint the whole room. I would not trust them to color match ever again. Trust yourself because unfortunately the technicians here do not know what they’re doing.

I went this home depot to pick up an order and as you can expect in summer it was busy. I think there were about 5 people in front of me- so, about 5 minutes to be seen- I say that isnt too shabby. This Home Depot compared to Shrewsbury has a cleaner and more organized store- from the social distance partitions to the overall flow/layout of the store. The women at the service desk help me bring 20x bags on concrete and metal gates to my truck. That is not a fun task. She stopped everything to help me out and was 100% pleasant about it.I know that is what expected in regards to service, but you would be surprised.My only qualm about this store are the people (not employees) who live in the clouds. Please look both ways before you aimlessly walk outside the store. Isnt that something you teach to children? Also, if the manager asks you to wear a mask and you huffing and puffing maybe let go of your pride and ignorance for the sake of humanity. This might be an overall issue across the US, but I felt like throwing shade. 🤷‍♀️

Looked for high temperature caulking and no staff seemed to have any idea other than where the other caulking is. A specialty item used on woodstove chimney piping, may be located elsewhere but never found it. No huge deal but with todays technology... step it up homodepot
