Alexis was very prompt in getting me checked in and out. I brought my dads truck in for a tire repair and an inspection. They covered the plug in the tire because I didnt know if the tires were purchased there or not. Great service will definitely use again.

I have gone here for my AAA Road Package. They were friendly and efficient when it came to getting it done with good time. I then went back to have my tires checked and tightened if needed. They topped off my fluids and all with the AAA package. They were up front with me when another place tried getting me to spend more money than what was needed. They told me what I needed to get fixed or replaced and even said I was welcome to come back because they treat their customers well. I was also told there was a guarantee when they do the work. Worse case I go back and they fix the issue of whatever may occur after their work. I recommend. Theyve been good to me so far and I appreciate that.

Brought my vehicke in to identify transmission issue. Diagnostics and other inspection did not locate source of the issue. Mechanics recommended I bring vehicle to a dedicated transmission repair shop and did not charge for their time. Very professional and I appreciated their efforts!

Store manager at this location is super friendly and helpful. Took a little while to get my tires changed but it was a holiday weekend and they had to order me new tires. they stayed in touch and answered all my questions every time I called to check on the status.

I was able to make an appointment online at my convenience! I was helped as soon as I arrived for my appointment and the employees were very helpful and friendly. I was in for just an inspection sticker, but needed to purchase 2 front tires to get one. They immediately put them on with my approval as I was afraid I was going to have to make another appointment to do so. I was very happy to say everything was done in no time and by using my AAA membership I saved 10% on my bill! I highly recommend the Augusta location they are awesome!

Im a summer person who was driving from Hallowell (getting clams) when my oil light came on! Panic! I even had to look in the manual to see what that icon indicated! So....I asked Siri for an oil change shop and VIP was one of the recommendations. I was actually only a block away and so I headed that direction. What a pleasant surprise! I was greeted by knowledgable and competent men (rather unusual to this feminist!) who worked me in right away-and yes, they were busy with numerous people in the waiting area. Not only did they fix my problem but they also refrigerated my clams while I had to wait! An hour later, off I went, relaxed and with a smile on my face. From now on, I will definitely use this shop for my car needs while in Maine! I am super impressed and most appreciative of their outstanding customer service!

I’ve always have great customer service here, especially when it came to the automotive side of things and having anything replaced. Things are done in a timely manner and efficiently. The help is always kind as well, which is nice.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation for the first time. I called for an appointment and they took my vehicle right in when I arrived. Courteous service, clean waiting area, took about an hour but I wasnt in a hurry. One thing I thought they would automatically do so I didnt mention it was make sure the tires were balanced and full of air when they did the tire rotation. I had one tire that was a low and I would have asked for air to be put in in if I had known it wasnt part of the rotation. Otherwise it was great service and I will go back.

Went to the Augusta VIP to get my tires swapped over and had a very positive experience overall. The counter staff was polite and easy to deal with and the service was surprisingly quick considering how busy the place seemed to be. Would recommend this store to a friend.

I cannot say enough about the crew at VIP Augusta! All these years, they have never let me down. They are friendly, fast, and get the job done right every time😉👌When I was just there, they were honest with a customer about not needing an oil change, showing her clean oil, and explaining respectfully that the maintenance light on her new vehicle had just not been reset correctly. They couldve NOT told her and charged her! Just one example of why they have my loyalty. They are good guys and saved me from the over-priced dealerships. BEST VIP in the state!!! 🏆😁

Had my wife take her trailblazer in. I had dont the entire front end, everything is bran new. They told her an hour, should have taken a half hour with new parts tops. She was there for 2 hours and they did an inspection without her knowledge. Then gave her the before and after paperwork and said have a good day. Never mentioned that the camber on the driver side was still out of spec a full degree. We paid over $110 for them to not finish the job, or even explain to her why is was still so far out of spec. Then as i confronted the manager over the phone being as polite as i could for as angry as i was, he was trying to put words in my wifes mouth saying she asked for the inspection. Lets not mention the hole they put in the frame while poking and prodding, given that the frame was soft in that area, there was no hole when it was brought in. I know this because i had just put the charcoal canister back in a day before, right next to where they found the hole, The lack of communication to the customer is unreal. Deffinatly will not be going back.

I brought our Hyundai Santa Fe in for an oil change and a brake inspection due to some “whooshing” noise coming from one of the front breaks. The vehicle was in and out quick and the cause of the sound was discovered; a piece of plywood had somehow become lodged in the front driver side brake pad. The assistant manager, Corbin, was helpful and extremely knowledgeable, he remained attentive even when a line was forming and was even able to assist those customers while getting my paperwork done and settled. Amazing customer service, quick and incredibly efficient service is what I have come to notice and admire about this VIP location.

I went to VIP when I needed my brake pads and rotors replaced so that my car could pass state inspection. The experience was great. Corbin was friendly, very knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that I could understand, but without treating me like I was a child. It was great. I definitely will return and recommend my family and friends to use their services as well.

After a poor experience with another VIP location, Lyle and Kyle at the Augusta location came to my rescue! They were able to correct the mistakes made at the other location very efficiently. Kyle was very helpful at the front counter helping to determine the best course of action; while Lyle was able to fix my car very quickly, explaining what was being done each step of the way. I highly recommend their services and am so thankful for Lyle and Kyles help!!!

I set up an appointment online at VIP auto care and they took me in that same day! I walked right in and they started on my car right away. Corbin was super nice and did an efficient job. I replaced rear brakes June 2019 only to need brakes again 15 months later. Overall service was good; friendly & competitive. I am very disappointed that the pads wore down to 0% life (now grinding) within 15 months and 40K highway miles. I compare to the prior pads and rotors which went 120K (overall similar driving).Even more disappointing that not only is there no warranty or discount but they want to charge me 38% More than last time!I cannot risk going back if this is going to be an annual expenditure at VIP.

Had been pushing off getting my oil changed for some weeks, as I work a Monday-Friday job and it is difficult to get time during the week to do it. Had finally found a day where I could step away from work, and made my appointment online via the VIP website. Got an email confirmation, and even a reminder email the morning of my appointment to confirm the date, time, and location, which was nice. After arriving at the Augusta location for my appointment, the gentleman running the counter told me my appointment was for the following day.....I showed him my confirmation and reminder emails that showed my appointment was indeed for that day. He told me “well, it’s a new system and it’s really buggy. I’m too busy right now, and can only fit you in at 4pm today or reschedule for another time”. My original appointment was at 10:30am, so I would need to make a trip all the way back to work and come back again that evening which was greatly inconvenient, as it was already difficult enough to step away from work for this appointment. I’m typically extremely understanding in these types of situations, as stuff happens and we can’t always control it, especially with technology. However, this gentleman seemed like he could care less that I had carved out time in my day and drove 35 minutes for an appointment that I had and was told sorry, we’re too busy come back later. Just on principal alone, I went across the street to Maine Auto Service, who was more than accommodating, professional, and rearranged their schedule to fit me in right then and there so I didn’t have to make a 2nd trip into town. I’m giving 3 stars because I’ve been to this VIP location before and received great service, however, this interaction was extremely unprofessional in my opinion and I will definitely be reconsidering whether or not I bring my business here again as a result. If the system is “buggy”, that should be addressed and either fixed or discontinued until it can be fixed.

They have prompt and friendly customer service and start making appointments early in the morning which is great!

I cannot express how much I appreciate the help of Lyle and Corbin at the Augusta VIP. I was extremely hesitant about getting my headlight fixed since I had paid two other mechanics (prior to going to VIP) who failed to fix the issue and my light went out again a day later. I thought it was going to be an expensive fix, but Corbin called for pricing on parts while Lyle put me at ease with his sense of humor as we waited. Lyle ended up diagnosing the issue as being a minor an inexpensive fix, where he could have easily swindled me due to my naivety with cars -- as the previous two mechanics had. I left with working lights and will DEFINITELY use their services in the future! Thank-you guys SO much!!!

So in 2016 my brother had a black Chrysler 300 on black 22s and he took his own life and I vowed to get myself either his 300 or a similar vehicle to keep his name and image alive and not only did Corbin give me unbelievable service he also help me feel ok during a rough time knowing I was throwing the 22s on my charger in my brothers name and didnt kno it. This place is pretty great. The people are nice and helpful, and do a good job communicating what theyre doing and why. The prices are standard. The best thing though is the convenience of being open 7 days a week though! They were able to squeeze me in to get my brakes and inspection done on a Sunday, just a few days before my sticker expired. Also the waiting area is pretty comfy.

I made an appointment for 2 vehicles, when we arrived a little early it was clear they were very busy. We were greeted warmly and our first vehicle was taken in immediately. The man at the front desk appeared to be multitasking, working in the shop and out front, many people would be frazzled but he was very organized, kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this VIP to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to bring any of our vehicle there.

VIP was very accomodating in scheduling my state inspection almost 3 weeks out, to coincide with my work schedule.The team was very helpful, and courteous.The only reason I gave a 4-star instead of a 5-star is because I did not get any update from them at all during the whole 1.5 hours it took them to do the state inspection.
