This place is awesome. While we were there, we had multiple staff members offer us help and check in on us. We were helped by Roberto who was amazing! In addition to how helpful he was, he was extremely personable and funny. We loved chatting with him and we got an amazing deal on a couch. I will for sure return here for the rest of my furniture shopping!
I came into the store because the items I wanted were unavailable online. It was very easy to locate these items in store, the only reason I didnt rate a 5 was for the time it took to find help. Once I found Roberto and David the rest of the experience was great. David is new and seemed a little shy, but Im sure that will fade with time. Roberto is very personable and a great example of how to interact with customers. I will be a repeat customer

Came in looking for a small couch to fit my new apartment, had a super helpful and chill rep named Roberto he was able to help us find exactly what we wanted and unfortunately it wasnt in stock but we did pre-order it that day.
We have bought a decent amount of furniture from this location over the years and the staff is always attentive and friendly. The prices are pretty good but you can always find one of a kind and discontinued pieces here for a deal, my big complaint is that they never seem to have most of the smaller items in stock. Recently we have had to wait for almost every piece we have bought to get transferred to the store. Its usually only a couple of days wait before its ready. Its not a huge deal but its something to consider when making a purchase that it might not be available that day for pick up.
Nice prices nice furniture. Had a salesman think his name was John. He was so customer service friendly. Very patience with his. Just a great salesmen. He made it so pleasant to be in the store. Not mention it rained and he made sure we got VIP service to the car, had another gentlemen walked us out to our car with a umbrella
The sales person that assisted me (Claudia) and the customer pickup team at the Aurora Store were so extremely helpful! After dealing with a frustrating situation with a piece of furniture I just purchased, I told Claudia my issue, she quickly offered suggestions for resolution, and I left, very happy, with a replacement piece. The guys took the problem piece and loaded up the replacement and I was on my way. AFW is always my go to for furniture and I appreciate how attentive the sales team is. Thank you!!

I am extremely disappointed with American furniture. I have always loved their customer service. I traveled to Aurora to purchase a dresser and it has been a month now and no item. An address was wrong for delivery 2st time then it was rescheduled at no cost. On very day I received an email no delivery due to item not at warehouse. I want a refund and it is impossible to reach anyone to get this to happen. Not a happy customer at all. I know they do better than this.
If you get a couch on back order, DO NOT believe the timeframe they tell you. They will blame the supply chain for the long delays, which may be true, but I would expect better communication from such a large company. Maybe an automated text once a month (or email) with my order status and an updated arrival date?????????????????? WHY DO I KEEP HAVING TO CALL EVERY MONTH FOR UPDATES???????? I am sure there are enough people with backorders that this service should be a no brainer and probably keep way more of your customers happy or at the least INFORMED. I dont even care that much about the time, its the lack communication that is terrible. I paid for a couch 4 months ago, and if I never called I am sure I would be sitting here with zero communication (which is INSANE.) Cant wait till I can stop sitting on my air mattress..........(please dont ask for my order number, I already know there is nothing yall can do.)

I bought furniture and it was cream in color. I call to say an hour after delivery and said my chair was dirty. I sent pictures of all the spots. Thinking they would send out another chair.Two days later, they sent someone out to spray the spots. I told them I bought a new chair and that I wasnt satisfied. And gotten no response. Im done. I went to Conns yesterday to buy a washer and dryer. I have always shop AFW. As I said not again. To not get a response.

My family and i came in to purchase a sectional. MANY associates passed us and did not offer to help. After about 20 minutes of trying to have someone willing to help us, Roberto asked us if we needed help. We are so grateful. He was incredibly professional and helpful. He also connected us with Joseline to help us complete our purchase so that we could finish faster and she was also amazing. We are excited for our furniture to come in and are very grateful that Robert and Joseline were willing to help us. I took a star off because of how all other associates treated us. Hopefully the staff at this location can learn a thing or two from Robert’s incredible customer service.

The showroom was a marvelous help. The furniture was priced well. They showed up on the delivery day within less of an hour of the start of the delivery window. They brought in the furniture with no damage to the house. It was a good experience.
It took asking waiting and walking around first before getting help. The consultant was very friendly nice. She even gave me her business for any questions after purchase. I did not go in there to purchase today, however; I put 20% down for later final payment. I furnished my entire 2 bedroom condo for under $5000 that include tax, delivery and extra box spring.
I had the best customer service experience ever. The guy that helped me was very knowledgeable and informative. Ahsan Rana was one of the best sales consultants Ive experienced in awhile and his overall personal attitude was very acceptable. I fell in love with his personality and high level customer service skills. I will always shop with them 💕.
Leon helped furnish our condo & we couldnt be happier. We got a love seat, chair, ottoman, coffee table, 2 bed tables, a sofa table, 3 bar stools, 2 floor pillows, 2 lamps and a 60 canvas between 2 shopping trips within a month. Spent less than $3k total. Leon was a great listener when it came to helping us find the style and colors we were going for. It was a bit of work to find a sofa in stock, but we are very happy with our purchases. Delivery wait wasnt long (usually a week) and the delivery guys were nice. We plan on coming back for more lamps, book shelves, and end tables. When it came to Covid precautions, we felt safe in the store (sanitizer everywhere, everyone was masked, spacing at the registers, no big crowds) and with delivery (guys were masked and gloved). We couldnt be happier with our experience.

I went about 3 weeks ago to buy some bar stools. Got the wrong ones and had to drive back and get another set . To then wait 3 weeks to even get them . To have them say it’s going to be a certain date and be two weeks later . My husband goes to pick it up, and would not give it to him, because he was not me . Keep in mind he had my ID and credit card with him to do so and was told this was possible, they make it hard to get your own purchase . I have called and sent emails many times and no one has responded
Disappointing experience in this location if I could give zero star I wouldI bought a couch and love seat 5 weeks ago, sales individual informed me when I purchased the items the couch will be delivered end of May and the Love seat will be delivered end of June, end of May came and went and zero call and communication from store I called the store end of may and ask about the delivery status, store told me delivery status changed to first week of June and they don’t have further information, I went to the store yesterday to see where they are with the delivery they straight told me that we don’t have any information and delivery status change to end of June now, it took me to go to the store to find out about this. This store had zero courtesy to call to inform me on delivery status change. American Furniture was very quick on selling something that they couldn’t deliver on the time they promised to me that’s rubbish customer service. I returned the couch and the love seat and tried to purchase something different in same price range of course couldn’t find it and when I ask for help the salesperson told we have to pick the correct set to have it delivered on time also complete rubbish customer serviceI wouldn’t recommend this store

This has been by far the worse experience I have ever dealt with when it comes to a business. Me and my girlfriend just bought a house at the end of June. We ordered a $1500 couch July 8th and it was supposed to be here July 20th. My girlfriend called the end of July and mid August and both times it was back ordered and pushed out to end of August. Early September comes around and I call them. I am told it is now pushed out to mid September. Nobody has reached out to us once to let us know these pushed back dates. I call again this morning (8-7) to get the mid September dates and the associate tells me that it is now pushed out to mid October. I immediately become super upset asking her why no one has called us to let us know! She tells me that they can offer us a refund but there is nothing they can do as it is not their fault. I have not received one call from them throughout this time and they have made my “first bought home” the worse experience ever. The customer manager earlier today was also very rude and tells me that I knew it was on back ordered and that it only has been back ordered for only 2-3 months. ARE YOU SERIOUS!! I paid $1500 for 3-4 months of nothing along with NO COMMUNICATION AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will never shop here again and I wish someone other than customer service associates would address this matter. The best time of our lives turned out to be the worst time. I understand the times we’re in and the difficulties that we are all facing, but there is No excuse for the horrible communication and customer service that this business has put out. DO NOT SHOP AT AURORA-MISSISSIPPI LOCATION!!!!
The telephone customer service is poor. Poor communication skills seems to be the norm. Telephone agents would rather talk continuously, than listen.Long periods of being on hold due to lack of AFW operational knowledge and experience.
We have waited 7 months for our couch to arrive, when it originally was only going to take 2- and we are still waiting. Delivery date is constantly being pushed back. Good luck to those who are just now buying.Update: Pushed backed again to the end of November. Was supposed to be here in June… No support from customer service and no consideration for the inconvenience- Not even free delivery… We are literally waiting on one piece so I don’t understand why they were able to get the rest but this one piece is taking 7 months.

Finally a furniture store in Aurora that has no issues delivering to a military base. Apparently that’s something Home Depot and Wayfair can’t seem to figure out. I just moved to the area and my wife told me about this place so we went in and purchased a couch and they delivered it within days. Definitely recommend this place to anyone that moves into town.
I walked in looking for a new couch and I wasnt quite finding what I was looking for but several of the people who worked there were walking around and one lady in particular helped me out. I was teasing her about just buying a bed and putting it in my living room and then I found this beautiful modular sofa set up over in the daybed area and I completely fell in love with it. So she sold it to me and I cant wait for it to get delivered this weekend! Im extremely pleased with the level of service I received from multiple members but her in particular.
So far not so good. The shopping experience was not ideal to start and I almost left because I wasn’t being helped. I was informed that the couch I chose was on back order and at that time I hadn’t moved in to my new place so no big deal. Said I’ll get it by the end of the month and a girl can sit on yoga mats for a moment, again not a big deal, I like the couch. My whole set up is centered around this piece, completely coordinated with all my other new furniture, not from AFW, shout out to IKEA and Furniture Row for being timely. Called today to get my delivery time window for tomorrow and then was informed it’s looking like a mid to late October deal, no promises.I’m posting the order form, I was assured I would get this couch by the end of the month, the EST gave me hope that I might get it sooner not weeks later/months who knows. I vented to a girlfriend and I guess this happened to her as well at AFW. I understand that there are delays because of “COVID” hey 2022 what’s up in 3 months, but soon that excuse will run it’s course. If a place of business can not deliver do not say you can. At the rate that it is going I highly doubt I’ll have a couch next month. Just a girl on her yoga mats, indefinitely. Would have been nice to be informed the day of purchase or even two weeks ago.

I liked the store, found pretty much everything I needed. Was looking for basic stuff like sofa, desks, coffee table, etc. - and they do have options. You can check the website first, decide what you like, and then go and take a look at your items. That saves some time. I also had a great experience with the delivery! So, overall, would recommend.
We ordered patio furniture. Table and 2 bench seats. For some reason, the sales person wrote up a very large dining table and chairs for a dining room.. We did not accept the delivery. They are refunding our money, but will tale 3 to 5 days to receive it. We went to the Thorton store, and they had the patio furniture we wanted. I would not return to the Aurora store. They are not professional, and we didnt even get an apology.
My experience was this:Damage to my home during delivery with a repair I did not authorize that looked even worse.The off WHITE couches we ordered were delivered with black smudges,footprints & water damage.We measured and knew it was a tight fit through the door so we asked that they take the feet off the couch for the delivery. This was not done which caused them to damage my home.They knocked decor and pictures.When I called to see how they would resolve this I was told the best they could do is get another couch out to me. Mind you they cant guarantee me a time that works for my standard schedule for a week. The home repair to fix the damage & unauthorized repair to my home wasnt even scheduled but was told someone would call me and then it would be in 14 days after that call before my home is fixed. Received an email today with the time for the delivery and of course its the whole middle of Saturday same as last week. When I called to see if they had any way to deliver in the morning I was completely mistreated. This is because they messed up you would think they might be a little accommodating right? Nope! Rather I spoke with 3 people one of which TODD refused to let me speak to his supervisor and spoke to me in manner you would never allow someone to, especially when you are a customer! Now Todds manager September is probably were he gets his bad attitude from. She had the nerve to tell me shes sorry my couches arent up to my standard. Yes youre right when I pay for a delivery I expect it to go better. When I order couches I expect them to not come damaged and stained.In the end they havent fixed my home they havent replaced my couch (Yet. God help me that the replacement isnt damaged also or my home again), they put in a request the refund my delivery which was $100 or less. By far the worst experience Ive ever had!I have spoken with four people who claim to be managers to resolve this. That is plenty of opportunities to treat me with respect and turn this around. Its sad that no one has taken the time to do so and Ive had to resort to this.>>>>>Response:Your replacement sofa was also smeared with black. The cherry on top.
Maria at the Aurora location has gone above & beyond to provide the best customer service to my husband and me. We’ve asked quite a bit from her and not once has she made us feel like an inconvenience. She even responded to one of our requests during her time off. She definitely has made our experience with AFW a pleasant and smooth one. Because of her we’ll continue to be AFW customers.

Warmly greeted - otherwise nobody approached me during my visit. Furniture wise nothing caught my eye. Wanted to purchase a small $15. decor item just wasnt totally sure it was going to work in my home. They charge a restocking fee for returns!! ??? No thanks. Left empty-handed and feeling disappointed.
I went to this store to buy a sectional for my basement. The sales rep was very nice and found a great option that, she assured me, can be disassembled by the delivery crew and will fit in any basement. When the delivery crew arrived they would not disassemble furniture and told me the only way the sectional would fit in to the space is by removing a door leading to the basement. I offered to remove the door and the delivery guy told me that hes not supposed to wait even 5 minutes so they would need to leave.I removed the door and called back to reschedule a delivery and was told by the store manager (Todd) that if I wanted this sectional I would need to come pick it up and bring it to my basement myself. Todd must deny science because not only did the delivery guys tell me it would fit by removing the door but the measurements and even AFWs space planner tool shows a fit.In my experience furniture stores really go above and beyond when it comes to customer service but didnt see any of that. Looking through other reviews shame on me for ignoring so many people with similar experiences here.

Very large showroom but very organized. Walked around for about 30 minutes until I encountered a young lady Jasmine. Not once did anyone approach me to find out what brought me in. As I walked around I saw a lot of sales associates talking to one another looking on their phones but no one offered to help me Jasmine was the first person to speak to me. I showed Jasmine the picture on my phone and she was able to take me to the sectional I wanted. I end up purchasing it and scheduling for a delivery also purchase the coffee table.. thanks Jasmine for taking the time to speak to me and show me exactly what I wanted and a couple of other pieces that I may be interested in the future.. unable to give 5 Stars due to the lack of customer service on the showroom.

Walked in to look at couches and was able to walk around and look without being bombarded by salesmen. Once we had questions, Raymond was there to help. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Helped show us a few options that fit our needs and give some suggestions. Encouraged us to go home and think it over. Sent us a link to the Home Planner as well as links to what we looked at to make sure it works. No pressure to buy. Will be buying with him for sure. Will come back for other furniture in the near future.

When I came in to American furniture I took my water bottle and because its always dry in there and I knew I would get thirsty because it would take a while to find what my mother wanted. I made the mistake of sitting down my water bottle at 1 of the chairs she was trying out . We paid for her chair and we left as we left I remembered I left my water bottle there so I called to ask them to go back to the chair and pick it up for me and save it for me until I got back it was a new water bottle and I didnt want to lose it even though I did forget it, my bad . No one wanted to help me no one. I called the front desk the back office nobody wanted to go look for my water bottle so I turned around To come back and get my water bottle and it was gone I was gone for maybe 10 minutes I was So disappointed . 😞
Ahsan is the best. He helped me figure out exactly what would work best for my space and got creative with his ideas. Knows exactly what a customer wants. Also, to my surprise, he wasnt out for himself, as I noticed him refilling the paper in the printer for the next sales associate to use. Truly a mindful and thoughtful person who actually cares. In store & delivery service was alright, delivery was better, friendlier, & professional. In store a lot of associates asked to help but none really did, I had to go find one personally when I was ready to make my purchase, only to be informed it was Out of Stock and would be like 3-4 wk wait. Once I paid for them, I still had to wait about another 2 wks so all in all was about 6-8 wk wait :(
About four years ago we did some remodeling and I purchased a dining room set as well as a desk from American furniture warehouse. The dining room set is Dark-wood pub height. It came with four chairs and I also purchased an additional regular height chair for my desk.We use the dining room set once or twice a month at the most.Right before Christmas I noticed that all of the chair backs are coming apart. It consists of slats which I assume are glued together and there are gaps where the wood connects.This is on every chair.I am very disappointed. This was a very expensive set of furniture.Our old kitchen table and chairs where plain old pine. I stuck the bench that went to that set on the back deck eight years ago and it is still in one piece.

Me and my mother came looking for a affordable dinning chair and a dresser. We found a wonderful oak table for 100 and two chair for 45 dollars each. We also found a really nice dresser for 99 dollars. It was delivered and we love it. Worth the price and it took only 3 days to receive.
Made an order over the phone..the representative was so nice and helpful! She even sent a thank you card to me. Pickup was a breeze and quick! The men who loaded my items were so kind and careful loading my purchase into my vehicle.
My customer service experience was not good at all Liz never reached back out with me at all to let me know that there was a back order on my mattress I tried to reach out to her a multitude of times and I will be left on hold or transferred back to somebody else and the people would always let me know that they let her know it was me calling so yeah my experience with American furniture Warehouse was not the greatest but I will say the management did get me taken care of they did get my refund done so I know that they do have great customer service in there because Ive had it before but this time around Liz did not do a good job at all she left me hanging in for that I have to make my bed purchase somewhere else if she would have just kept updating me and letting me know time frames I would have waited but she wasnt even doing that so no sense in keeping her with my money

If I could put zero stars I would. We got told a certain date, a month later still no furniture. We called 3 times to find out a date of arrival and the date keeps getting pushed back. RUDE employees on the phone. Then we called 1 last time and got told another date which was 1 month later! We told them we want to cancel the order and they transferred us to someone that all of a sudden could have our furniture delivered the same week?! They are getting the furniture from another location. All of this could have been avoided if they put some care into their service. Now they have unhappy customers. We will share our terrible experience.

My roommate and I have furnished most of our home with amrican Furniture Warehouse. They always have high quality furniture for great prices compared to everywhere else. We used to buy everything from Amazon, but never again! We always know were getting exactly what we want and were sure it will be quality. Couldnt be happier!
I was looking for a dining room table to gift someone and we stopped by there at their insistence. What Im mostly saw was lot of overpriced cheap quality dinette sets. It was very hard to find anything made out of real wood. What I saw was a lot of imitation wood that was plastic coated prefab stuff. You could easily spend $1,000 on table because the seats were sold separately in most cases. There were some attractive tables there but the quality was very misleading in quality. few years down the road I suspect it will be coming apart like furniture Ive bought there in the past.

Despite showing up at 9:50pm on a Monday night, Tony provided amazing service and worked with us til our transaction was fully complete. He identified an issue w/ the delivery address on our initial order and was able to correct it in time to prevent any impact on our end. Check out this gorgeous marble top table we got. Went in for patio furniture pads. Expected clearance prices after looking at Home Depot and Lowes. Asked clerk and she said no discount available for end of season items.
There is a huge amount of furniture to choose from.Someone will always be ready to help.There are employees that speak Spanish, Arabic and even Amaric. They wrap the furniture in plastic for delivery. If you allow the delivery employees, the will leave the furniture all set. No more free tigers when you buy furniture like before.
They failed to deliver my daughters nightstand. And now we have to wait another week. Not only that my vanity was the wrong color so I have to wait for that as well and my daughters dresser wont even be here till the end of the month. The managers have poor attitudes as well. When I was called earlier today I was not informed the nightstand would be dropped off next week. I will not be returning here if I dont get my furniture I will get a refund.
Still waiting on my loveseat a month later, but the couch and recliner are awesome.

I would like to give 0 stars. I purchased a desk and went to put it together and the one of the main drill holes to assemble the desk was missing. I called the store to get a replacement and was told they could replace that part number via mail and it would take 3 to 5 business days. Thats crazy!!!!! I need the desk assembled ASAP not in 3 to 5 days if Im lucky to receive a new piece that may or may not have the same defect. Dont shop here for a desk unless you want bad quality and terrible monotone customer service. Oh also they dont have much at the Aurora store so they will direct you to the Firestone store 45 minutes away. It looks like they have a huge selection but it is all at Firestone or online.
I went in to pay & have a item that was being shipped from Firestone to Aurora Location the cashier was rude & didnt update my phone information when I verified the address & phone for delivery so on the date that the item was to be delivered I missed delivery because the when they called with ETA the number was wrong. I called the day before because I hadnt got the delivery time verification call & I was told that they had a old # & I asked for it to be updated only to told go back to the store or call the day of delivery which I did & was told it was updated on to not recieve my items & have to reschedule a week later. Bad Sevice all the way around.
