This place gets an A+ for social distancing guidelines and fun for all ages. Plenty to do for adults and kids alike, and the corn maze was very well done! Go on a weekday for the best results and the pumpkins are well priced and you get many options! We will be back next year and leave the other patches in the past.

It was overall a great family activity to do, and they did a great job of keeping everyone social distancing. Lots of fun and laughs, we definitely did not make it to the end of the corn maze 🤣🤣 and my kids loved the apple cider doughnuts, and the cider. I loved the apple cider with captain Morgan 😍 the only bad thing I would say is that, there werent any pumpkins to pick. I felt the pumpkins we did see, was there for pictures and props. U can also bring your own food if u want. Heavily noted for next time, especially water. Children 2 and younger gets in free. Great for family night or date night honestly.

We came because we got a Groupon for our entire family. With the Groupon, the price was very reasonable! Without it, I wouldn’t be so inclined to pay so much PP to come. That being said, this place is HUGE and there was so much to do! Not only is there a pumpkin patch, there was a petting zoo, photo ops, huge tire mountains, slides galore, a zip line, giant slides, a huge grounded trampoline, and so much more! Plenty of space to social distance. Although I noticed naughty adults without masks (who were not eating or seated).... If we were starving and kids weren’t grumpy, we would have stayed so much longer than 2.5 hours. We weren’t feeling overprice hot dogs and such.

Cute!! Unfortunately we came during the week so the petting zoo wasnt open which was soooo disappointing and one of the only reasons we wanted to come here. The kids had fun with everything they could climb and slide down. The tractor ride....well lets just say it was one bumpy ride and dont let any kids sit near the open back where the doors are. We tried to do the corn maze but it was sooo muddy and wet we never got to finish it. We ended up getting a half dozen doughnuts on our way out which so far they are delicious. Staff whom we actually seen, seemed friendly just seemed understaffed here. Overall, a good experience just need to come back on the weekend so we can actually enjoy the petting zoo. Thanks!

Finally made it in for our first time a year later. It was nice. I bought my tickets on line and saved $4 per person. I had to reserve a time to enter the park. It wasnt that crowded. Glad we finally got to see it. We enjoyed most of the activities and the food is good too. The hot dogs are about twice the size of a Vienna Beef hot dog and just as good. Abbey Farms very convenient for those who live in the area! One of the managers greeted us and he was very kind.

My grandparents and I went to get a Christmas tree, this was are first year coming to Abby farms and will probably be our last (at least for trees) they didn’t really having many options. We took our beagle (he’s at least 20 pounds) too go with us which it clearing stated you need to have your dogs on a leash, we were walking through and all of the sudden these 3 big dogs (not on leashes) came up to my dog and jumped on him barking, he was crying I picked him up and the dogs were then jumping in me, my grandpa said “that’s why your dogs need to be on leashes” they walked away with out saying a word. Other than that the service was really nice.

A well organized and run pumpkin festival. Hand sanitizer is widely available and many of the attractions are cleaned after each use such as the corn guns and the zip lines. The overwhelming majority of people abide by the mask requirement. The pumpkins arent a bargain by any stretch but they have 100s to choose from. The amateurs will focus on the apple cider donuts but the veterans know the best treat available is the rhubarb pie which is not overly sweet, syrupy or any other typical tragedy of rhubarb - its a darn near perfect pie. Take one home a make it a la mode, you wont be disappointed.

We always go to Bengstons, but this year with Covid, Id heard awful things about crowding without masks so we tried Abbey Farms. It was so fun and they were fantastic with their safety procedures. Masks were required for practically all activities, and they were cleaning and disinfecting throughout the day. There were hand sanitizer stations all over the place and Id say about 75% of people wore masks all the time (it was a refreshing change from what usually happens). Id definitely recommend checking them out. There were tons of fun activities too, my daughter loved the (free) zip line and jumping pillow. There was also a corn cannon, giant slides, a hamster wheel thing, different playgrounds and climbing structures, a corn maze and a smaller string maze. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Im disappointed in the lack of country things for the kids to enjoy. If thats what youre looking for, look elsewhere. This place seems to be geared more to suburban 5 year olds and their parents, my 11 year old is bored stiff. It feels very touristy and sort of suburban polished, not like getting out in the fall to enjoy a farm.Should have went west of Aurora, to Plano, or further south. I feel like were at the Zoo, with everything being an attraction more than a fun day out with the family. It feels fake. Sorry to feel that way too, its a nice sunny day and I was really looking forward to getting out for some farm fun. I feel like were at more of an outdoor center. The littlest ones will like it. And so will their Starbucks swilling parents. If thats your thing.

For abbeys farm being our first pumpkin farm we visited this year was a terrible experience.First of all parking was terrible, the area where you park was flooded and cars were getting stuck everywhere. We arrived at the farm at 2:00. For me, my fiancé and our 2 kids which we only paid one for because 1 child is a newborn. For us three it was almost $50.00.... which I think it outrageous. First thing we did was eat food. We were all starving. We ordered our food at 2:25, we did not get our food until 3:45. We waited over an hour - same with many other people. Our total for our food was $42.00 which was not worth the hour wait and how the food was prepped. We didn’t even finish our meals. Now it’s 4:00 and we been here for two hours, haven’t done anything yet since we had to wait for our food. My family is mad and just dreading this experience at this point . We did a couple of activities than we had to go because it was almost 5:00 and getting cold. Felt like we wasted all of our money and time waiting for the food for a terrible experience . Plus the workers who were working did not care or seem to want to help the situation. Never ever going back to this place. Wasted my time and family’s time and money. Furious on how today went..

Rude staff. We arrived to pick a Christmas tree like the year before, I said hello and i was promptly told to pick a tree asap or come back tomorrow. Like yeah, just got here, no.. Apparently we got there right at closing time. I informed them their website has the wrong operating hours listed and the staff acknowledged this but dont appear to care and just repeated to come back tomorrow and told us when they open. I felt a little taken back by their urge for us the leave, considering, well, it takes 5 min to pick a tree and hey, i guess my money is no good here. My 4 and 6 year olds were devastated on the ride home. Thanks Abbery Farms, we are done.

We just went to the Pumpkin Daze on a Friday afternoon. The website said that the craft beer tent wasnt open on weekdays but did not mention anything else being different. After we payed for admission (which was almost $30), the employee tells us that there are no animals there because they are only there on weekends. We wished it would have said so on the website or we would have been told before paying because we would have just come back another day instead. We went in and it was not just the animals that werent there, the entire thing was closed. All the food stations were closed, the Go-Kart track and other activities were closed. Not a single employee was anywhere in sight. We walked around for a few minutes trying to see if there was anything to do or look at but the place was just completely deserted except for some kids playing on the playground stuff. I cant believe that they changed their pictures with Santa policy. For 4 years we have been going for a family photo and one photo with the kids only. The person in charge told us it would cost $34.95 for one pose. Which you get two prints of one pose only! Then the menu states $6.00 for each additional print. Thats if you want the same print again! Last year we paid about $46 for a print of the kids, then the family and an additional pose. She wanted to charge us $75 for 2 poses and 2 prints each, then and additional $34.99 for another pose. Bet excuse the cost of reindeer food has gone up, and Santa doesnt work for free! As a family we come here for the pumpkin daze, buy a Christmas tree and photos with Santa every year. This will be the last. Im pretty sure Santa doesnt cost $100.00 an hour and there is no way that they break even as she stated. We will not be returning. Its unfortunate, we really liked going for all the events and we live not even 5 minutes from there. In addition the quality of the prints is terrible compared to the past few years. Thats one Christmas tree, 8 people for pumpkin daze plus pumpkins, photos with Santa, a plethora of donuts, and various stocking stuffers. Do the math if every family stopped coming. Terrible customer service and very rude.

Simply Amazing. My husband and I had our reception at the Nagel Emporium and I have to say it was the most amazing and beautiful day of my life. Wendy and Adam (the two managers I spoke with) are a pleasure to work with and they went above and beyond what I expected when planning my day. They replied quickly to emails, they worked through all the details with me, they made me (the uptight perfectionist bride) feel 100% comfortable. They are down to earth and just wanted to make our day special. In addition to the amazing event planners/managers and staff, the Nagel Emporium is breath taking. We had a group of 240 people and everyone was raving about the venue (the views, the patio, everything). The views are amazing, the room is decorated perfectly for that rustic farm feel but with elegance and class as well. I really did not have to think or do much in the way of decorating because it is already so beautiful. I also used their preferred vendor Garland & Lace for all the finishing touches and let me tell you, is was a relief to have someone basically sit down with you and design the room. Linda set everything up and was the sweetest and most caring person. She even designed a completely new and stunning back drop for us (again, above and beyond). Wendy picked out an amazing list of preferred vendors and every one we met with (caters, cake bakers, etc). were so nice. They did not just throw a list together, you can tell they did their homework and only picked the best vendors. We did the tractor picture ride and it was so much fun. It was something different and our entire wedding party had a blast. There are a few locations for pictures and every where we went was beautiful, green and very well maintained. I highly suggest it! The Emporium is located in Aurora right off of Butterfield road and 88 and there are nice hotels just 15 min away in Naperville (I suggest Hotel Arista) -- a very easy drive for guests and shuttles. Aurora also has Uber, so it was nice to have that option for guests as well. Everything on our wedding day was perfect and I know it was because we had such a great team at Nagel/Abbey Farms who just worked hard to make our day amazing. I cannot thank them enough for really making our wedding reception the most wonderful, gorgeous and fun night of our lives. Thank you again to everyone who made our day one we will never forget.Molly & Matt
