Lens Crafters in the Aurora Mall is amazing. The doctor and staff were all so friendly and efficient. I’m 100% satisfied with my experience and will definitely be back next time I need some glasses and eye exam.

I wish to share my honest, unbiased experience. I visited Lens Crafters for the first time in 2019. I encountered issues with my glasses and the staff worked with me until they resolved it to my satisfaction. Thus, when it came time for a new pair of eyeglasses recently, I gave them my business. Unfortunately, it is taking significant effort to get it properly adjusted, which is challenging to keep returning to the store due to my disabled status. One of the employees was able to fix the gap between the stem and my temple, but, recently my glasses would not stay seated on my ears. Thus, I need to return for yet another adjustment.If there is one thing I could change it would be the policy of offering the floor display to fill new orders. With the exception of clearance merchandise, I think a brand new pair of glasses should be offered rather than the ones other customers have tried on. Improvement is needed in this area. That said, they carry a wide selection of frames to complement all facial features. Galina has a knack for helping me decide which frames I should go with.I have a “coke bottle” prescription, but you would never know. They offer polycarbonate lenses, and, they do a good job making my lenses thinner and lighter. If you have a preferred optometrist, they will accept an outside prescription. All things considered, my overall satisfaction has been positive, and, I hope to maintain a long term relationship. Hope my honest review will help others.

Highly recommend seeing Dr Griffin. I came in as a walk-in and was seen by Dr Griffin right away. He was very thorough and patient throughout the exam and not once did I feel rushed. Great customer service

I’ve been going to this location for over 8yrs and they are always so friendly and helpful! I’ve tried other locations and it’s just not the same. The employees are very caring and make sure that you are happy with your purchase always!

They were fast friendly and understanding

My salesman Chris was personable, but made it very clear my needs were secondary to his sale.Once he found out I would be going through my insurance his sales pitch stopped. He told me the glasses would not be ready same day because he was off in 45 minutes, and after confirming my phone number Chris told me they would call me the next day. When 3 pm came around, and I had not heard anything I decided to call myself.

Very friendly and helpful staff! They took the time to walk us through all the options we wanted to look at and were patient while we talked through everything.

My LensCrafters visit was awesome.

I have been a patient/customer at this LensCrafters location for many years. Before today the people there have always been very helpful assisting even if it is just an adjustment. There is a new manager there. I do not know her name, but she has an accent. (no racial profiling intended). She is very condesending and rude. Today my husband went to pick up his new glasses and we took our grandaughter with us so her glasses could be adjusted. After she gave my husband his glasses I asked if she could adjust my grandaughters glasses and she said, for you, that will be an hour wait. What? For me? There were two other people there, one man was with another tech and another lady was looking at frames. Why would I have to wait an hout for an adjustment? I was angry, not so much for the one hour wait, but why did she say: FOR YOU? She seemed to be in a bad mood. Well, everybody is on edge, but if you are going to be a customer service person, that attitude is unacceptable.

The ladies here on 7/24/20 are the best!!! Thank you so much I will always be back to LensCrafters I can only hope they would still be here !!

In the 20 years Ive worn glasses, no one has ever been as helpful and friendly as Galina. She described the numbers on the glasses to me to help me find the perfect fit for my face. Amanda was just as friendly when I went to pick up my glasses three business days later. Stay excellent!

I should have read the reviews first. I was 7 min late. The receptionist thought I was with the man in front of me, so she left me standing there waiting for 14 min. Then they took me back and said she would have to reschedule me, then she walked away, so I left. Not my fault the receptionist is incompetent, it was obvious I was not with that man. I did not go with them when she took him to get his glasses, the biggest clue was when she saw him leave, and me still standing at the counter.

The lady there was super rude. Not friendly or patient at all. She ask me to hurry when I was trying my glasses on

Sad to say my review went from a 5-star a month ago to a 1 star. My experience with this Lenscrafters was miserable. The glasses I received were blurry. They sent them in to correct the PD measurement that was originally measured wrong when I first ordered the glasses. No big deal, but when they came back my vision was still not clear. I finally got to see the doctor again to relook at the prescription over a month later. None of this would have bothered me if it were not for the lack of communication or concern from Alice. I had to call several times to finally get an appointment set up. After expressing my problems over the phone to Alice, she said Galina would get back to me (didnt happen), and then a second time I expressed my concerns to her at a later date and asked her to help me set up an appointment and call me back, and she did not after saying she would. Thank you to Amanda who was polite and originally helped me in the first place (reason this was a 5-star review) and to Dylan who finally helped me set up an appointment when I called a third time after not hearing from Alice. After seeing the doctor, she explained my prescription was correct, but some people have sensitive eyes and are unable to wear large lenses that wrap around your eyes without getting a prism effect. The solution was for me to get smaller lenses. Immediately after seeing the doctor and having her explain to Alice my issue, Alice refused to return my glasses because it had been a few days past the 30 days of original pick up, even though I had been working with the Lenscrafters, and Amanda had assured me a week prior that she had noted in the computer I could return the glasses the day of seeing the doctor and it would not be an issue. I explained to Alice that Amanda had noted this in the computer, and she would not even check. Because of her, I will not return to this Lenscrafters again. Amanda was amazing and unfortunately she is no longer at the location due to a job change. Galina, the Manager, was kind and returned my glasses. It is unfortunate I was unable to work with Amanda or Galina from start to finish, or this review may have been much different.

This is absolutely the worst Lens crafters I’ve ever been to! Everyone who works here has no idea what they are doing and all look at one another to have the answer! No one knows how to adjust my glasses and I’ve been in several times! The doctor is terrible and only cares about your money, I was told my husband and I had covered contact exams and then had to pay $90 at the end of our exam. But was told by this awful women we are responsible for knowing our vision insurance and that’s not part of her job. I was disgusted and will never be back.

I called, having an emergency; my glasses had broke, and I needed replacements, ASAP.After contacting multiple locations along my route, from Nevada, to Pennsylvania, this location seemed best suited for my needs, both in accessibility for parking my truck, and hours of business.I already had a recent prescription, from June of the prior year. My mother, whom had my prescription in hand, contacted LensCrafters, and spoke with Alice, who assured both my mother, & I, that despite the prescription being expired, they would indeed fill the prescription, and create lenses for me, the same day.Alice and I worked out the timing for my arrival, and she assured me that the necessary staff would be on hand to assist me, and ensure that I had glasses, that evening.Erin was the sales assistant who actually assisted me in choosing frames, measuring my focal point, and all of the associated tasks.Chris was the lab technician who created my lenses in an extremely short period of time.I was in, and out, in less than 90 minutes.Thank you, again, Alice, Erin, and Chris. You not only relieve my stress, you gave me back my ability to continue working.I cannot heap enough praise upon these three individuals, and this location in general, for assisting me in a dire situation, and ensuring that I was able to get a replacement pair of glasses, and continue along my journey.

Do not go here for any lens or contact needs. Overpriced, unorganized, incredibly slow receptionists, constantly upselling without communicating pricing, and required me to pick up my prescription in person for HIPPA requirements, but didnt even check my ID to verify. Everyone was friendly, so giving 2 stars for that at least. They screw you over with a smile I guess. Completed my exam (which should have been standard free with my insurance but cost me over 100$ for some reason...still dont fully understand why even after talking to 2 receptionists and my insurance other than they ordered unnecessary exams that werent covered without fully confirming first. Ordered contacts during appointment after getting fitted (only tried on one pair). 1.5 months later got a call that they didnt order them because they forgot to charge me AN ADDITIONAL $60 because I got a **special** contact fitting for my eyes. How is that extra? Just check that I have an astigmatism and pick out contacts that fit that, same effort as verifying my prescription from what Ive seen and Ive never been charged extra for this before. None of this was communicated by the doctor during the exam/fitting. And my insurance was billed as well, they made a killing. Absolutely never coming back here. Save yourself money and stress and go somewhere else.

I have vsp but I will choose Lenscrafters every time even though they are not in network. They provide state of the art exams!!!

The eye doctor ( Dr. Karen Kuennin) who works at the Lens Crafts forgot to send my eye exam results to my neurologists office, the neuro-Ophthamalogy doctor was going to study the results and schedule a visit and other tests to prevent further damages to my eyes as soon as they get the referral. But Dr. Kuennin wasted few days of a very important diagnostic work, she even didnt send them the first thing on the day when she was returned to work, I had to call them many times to emphasize on the importance of their duty to send the results ASAP, but for them it was another day in the office and patients request had no priority on their agenda except collecting the fees. Lens Crafts must be ashamed of themselves and take her negligence/ignorance seriously to prevent further complaints and loosing another customer. Finally I ended up going to MR to take care of my eye and have no use for Dr.Kuennin report anymore, she has charged me and my insurance for her fees which has no value, she should pay back the money and probably rethink about her responsibilities as a Doctor to not neglect her duties toward patients. Shame on her. No more business with that unorganized place.
