4 words.. Go to Sams Club. I came to pick up my warranty replacement lenses, and the person working was very rude, no one else was in the area, the sign said no more than three to four people in the optical center at a time, due to COVID SAFETY.Of course they hide behind that nice little elastic rope thing like everything is top secret in their store, yet you can walk freely in Walmart.I asked if I could look at frames while she put my lenses in, and she said Im the only one here and unless youre going to buy something I cant let you in. REALLY? Maybe I was, maybe I wasnt. Theyll never know because I will never buy lenses from them again.I SPENT SEVERAL HUNDRED $$ ON MY FRAME AND LENSES, AND I CANT LOOK AT ADDITIONAL FRAMES UNLESS I BUY???Thats absolutely ridiculous, and the associate was rude.NOW, I NEED TO GO BACK IN BECAUSE THE LENSES ARE TOO SMALL FOR MY FRAME.I went to Sams Club the other day and went to their optical center and spoke to the manager who just happened to be there and asked if they could reglue my lenses in, assuming thats how they put lenses in..She stated that these lenses are too small for these frames and asked me where I got them, and they have no association with their optical center and Walmart optical center. So now I have the fun task of trying to get new lenses made for my glasses.for some reason I have a feeling STAFF is going to be really difficult.Asking for a manager really seems just as concerning.BOTTOM LINE: MY LENSES DID NOT SHRINK. However when I clean them theyre shifting around a little bit so they need to be replaced....wish me luck.. I will give an update after Ive spoken with somebody in their department. UGH.
Fantastic experience with the two ladies Christa and Patty. They were extremely helpful and friendly! My glasses came in two days time even when they had said five. I recommend this vision center over any in the area!
Great staff. Very helpful. knowledgable and professional. The glasses came back perfect the first time and I got a great instant rebate on my contact lenses. The Doctor was was really nice and everyone was very attentive. I had been here previously and was not happy as the service was very poor but they have a great Vision Center now.
Poor customer service. The lady answering the phone does not know how to communicate. She was glad when I decided to cancel my appointment.
This Walmart Vision Center staff are very helpful and wonderful. Patsi was helping my mom chose and adjust frames that fit her face properly since she has a small nose bridge. Patsi definitely exceeded my expectations. Only problem I have is that it says the Vision Center closes at 8pm but I arrived there at 7:23pm to pick up glasses that are ready for pickup and it was already closed up. So not sure if they closed early or if google is showing incorrect store hours.
Dr was too rushed and felt impatient. Made me fill out paperwork AFTER my eyes were dilated... That made zero sense. And whoever the lady is that has called me about pick up has the absolute WORST attitude. You wanted me there at 1:30At 1:30 I showed up to lights off no one there and the ropes up. Got called 2 days later for a reminder and the woman had an even worse attitude.Im all for walmart vision, the only place ive trusted for years, but the staff here is rude af.
When I went as a walk-in appointment on a Saturday the place was packed! However, I was checked in promptly. My insurance was checked quickly and I was told to just walk around the store for awhile until my appointment. When it was appointment there were close to 3 people in front of me ( so obviously some miscommunication), but the lady eye doctor was fast and efficient and very polite. The frames consultant was polite (Beverly). She reviewed all options of frames and lens without being pushy towards me to buy the most expensive. I was checked out very quickly and as promised my glasses arrived exactly a week later. Sizing and adjusting was less than 10 mins at my pick up. Overall a good experience if you are not in a hurry or a rush to get it all done.
Its taken some time just to get glasses very aggravating. No calls when they will be coming in so I wanted my money back because they arent sure when Ill even get my glasses in. Customer service needs to step up and at least make calls to let me know if they were ever coming in but nope I didnt even get a call. I called them 3 times finally an answer.
They really dont even deserve one star. I had a horrible Experience with these people. My prescriptions all came in wrong for me, mostly because the Dr did a really rushed and crappy exam on my. And when the prescriptions did come in, they didnt believe me when I said I couldnt see with them. Tried to blame it on me. I got my money back, but it was all time wasted and very frustrating!
I wish I could give a negative star. I came in with my daughter as I normally do once a week, she shops here a lot mostly for baby items. I shop other places since I do not live here but I have been here enough to know, for sure. It is one of the worst Wal Marts. We just visited the Vision Center and wow. The women in the Vision Center are rude and respond with the deer in the headlights look. One day a while ago, the Middle East women had on camos and military boots. I asked her are you getting ready for a war? She just snarled at me. Why is this type of clothing and behavior ok? I have worn glasses my entire life so I can tell when I am helped by a pro. My daughter wont see the Doctor next door anymore. She did buy contacts from this shop but ended up with an out of date tester lens just a few days ago. She is calling it quits since she has screwed up her prescription so many times. It feels like they grabbed these people off sales floor and tell them here, do this I do not think any of them know what they are doing. They are not professional and even the newest one is out of place. The optical was good for a while now Its like the rest of the Southlands Wal Mart. This brings me to the next problem with Walmart at Southlands. The Managers in the rest of the store, also wow. There are a few good ones but most of them are a pretty sad bunch. The two worst are the tall skinny gal - looks like she is a little pregnant and the little gal with the big bun hairstyle. Not only rude but their attitudes are intimidating. Friends, there are other places to shop nearby. The prices at King Soopers are fair, they have coupons and if you have a soopers card you get even better deals. No, I do not work at King Soopers.. Sams has an optical and there prices are much better. This one is not worth wasting your money on. Sorry Wal Mart, you need to think better of your choices if you want to help people save money to live better- your are false advertising, but most of all, give you customer a chance to not feel scared to make a purchase in your store.
Dr. Natalle yampoisky has been very knowledgeable and helpful with my version prescription on 3/16/19.
Farid was rude and argued with me over my prescription stating that I did not need bifocals. However my prescription stated that I did and I have been wearing them for years. He was super slow and incompetent. He got on his phone and chatted with his friends and would get up and walk around. It was such a painful experience. I will never come back again!
