Found myself in the market for new interior doors as my home improvement project expanded. My doors stuck and several had seen better days. I needed bedroom, bathroom, sliding and bifolds. I checked out several options. My house has shifted since it was built and off the shelf was not going to work right. I was looking for a semi custom option. This means to me that I select doors, and the contractor does its magic to make the doors appear in my house and working properly. On the brink of signing with another shop, I met with Marc with Ortiz Doors. I am glad I did. Marc came by my house to discuss my project then emailed to me a detailed bid. After I finalized what I wanted, he updated his bid to match specifically my project. Marc did everything he said. He is a nice guy that works hard to do professional job. My old front door was drafty and the door jam cracked. The install was tricky because of repairs previous owners had made and plus the house had settled and shifted the frame out of square. Nevertheless, he got a new insulated door installed and no more drafts. It looks great 👍🏻

Marc Ortiz was great. Not only was he very thorough with his work, he was very detailed and clear in explaining the work that would be done and was always timely and professional. Having a total of 9 different doors installed, Marc showed great versatility in handling the challenges of each door and was very meticulous in his approach to resolving any challenges that popped up. We were so pleased with Marc’s work, we just set up having 5 more doors receive some TLC, in our rental property. This time repairing old fashion type doors. Marc Ortiz was everything we hoped for on this project. We had old metal bifold closet doors that needed replacing before we sold the house, as they were all broken or missing. He arrived EARLY (when have you had that happen!?), was polite, professional, completed the work with beautiful results, cleaned up everything after himself, leaving our house ready to show. He had to do some extra work to plane the ends of the doors to make them fit, and did that with no extra charge. He also was willing to add another couple of small projects we needed (securing a toilet with new wax ring and shims, and installing some smoke detectors/CO2 monitors), all for very reasonable pricing. We are moving out of state, so we are unlikely to need him again, but I sure wish we had found him sooner!! Very good, very experienced, and very pleasant. In fact, on the way out of our front door, he noticed the person who installed the door had not used enough screws on the hinges, and the door was sticking. He grabbed some screws out of his van and fixed it on the spot, so now it closes smoothly, and didnt charge us for this last minute kindness. What a great guy!!

Marc does excellent work. The doors were fitted and installed in a timely manner. The quality and value were well worth the price. I will be calling again when I need my other doors replaced.
