Shout out to Cory in sales for getting me the truck at the price I wanted, but thats about where the good experience ends. I bought my truck used and a tailgate actuator needed to be replaced, so I made an appointment once parts were in and waited over 2 hours despite an appointment for 1 part. Also with the rainstorm that just came in I have discovered that the back window leaks and has the headliner wet. I have had the truck for less than 45 days, and am now going to be having to get the window resealed/reset more than likely. Meanwhile Southpoint had the truck in their possession for over 60+days, so theres no way this is a new problem. The truck is 2 years old and a $60k+ model so either this is a deficit of Ram or this dealership sold knowing this and got lucky we havent had a good strong rain since the truck was delivered. So if youre buying used, get an independent inspection and water test the vehicle if its not raining.

Met with Zach to look at a few vehicles. He already had the keys for the trucks I wanted to look at and was waiting outside when I arrived. He was knowledgeable on the vehicle and after our test drive, went in and immediately negotiated a request I had. The dealership was willing work with my requests, and unlike a neighboring dealer, was impressive and extremely easy. The truck came at a great price, they were fair on my trade in, and nothing felt salesy. They were streamlined and smooth.I was in and out in two hours with the new vehicle, and more importantly, a happy customer. I would recommend this dealer to anyone. Searching this year with the chip shortage, most dealers I have visited or spoken with have been out to make as much money as possible. This is the only dealer out to make a deal, and I will be back for my next vehicle as well. Customer service and reputation still matter.

I have purchased a lot of vehicle but this was my first from South Point. It was the best buying experience I have had. I began by searching inventory online due to the vehicle shortage. I found that they had a great selection despite the shortage. I clicked on one that I was interested in and filled out a few fields asking for my projected payments. Despite it being 30 minutes before closing, I had a personal response from the dealership telling me that they would contact me in the morning with the details. The next morning I had all the information I needed. The price was way cheaper than the other dealerships I had been shopping around for the same vehicle. After I told them that I was ready to proceed but couldnt get to the dealership until the weekend due to them being an hour away, they agreed to bring the vehicle to me and to pick up the trade. I was shocked because Im more than an hour away. They met me at my house in the early evening that same day. The loan docs were all ready for me to sign and in about 5 minutes we were done. The vehicle was clean and filled with gas. The entire experience was awesome. I will be going to South Point from now on. Thanks Jakob and all others involved!!!

If i could give this place zero stars, i would. i have never experienced so much neglect when it comes to just needing my car fixed! these people literally do not care about you or your needs. you have to beg them to fix anything or finish a service! it’s absolutely unreal. they don’t reply to texts. i was without transportation for a month but they couldn’t get me a rental car. now there is something else wrong with my jeep and they won’t return my texts! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! i seriously wouldn’t service my jeep here if it was the last dealership in the world.

The service on my new 2020 Ram 1500 has been reliably horrible. It wasn’t the people, who were always nice and respectful. . However, the dealership policies and procedures are infuriating and appear to be made to push all costs onto the owner. I consistently have to spend my time and money to get the simplest thing done. It takes weeks to schedule “appointments” and then they keep my vehicle for days on end because the “appointment” doesn’t mean anything. The lemon juice is that they refuse to make enough loaner vehicles available, so you’ll pay even more to actually have a vehicle while yours sits around in their shop. At this point, even a one star review seems overly generous.

We had an amazing experience working with Kiel Freeman, I did not have a lot of time to go in the dealership and walk around, but he made it super easy literally over the phone and text, asked for pictures and not even 10 minutes later I had a bunch of pictures of car I asked about, after all I asked him to get everything ready for me because I wanted to come and just sign, the next day when I came in, the Jeep rubicon was out front, detailed and ready to go.Talk about in and out experience!!Highly recommend Mr.Freeman

Well...honestly, Im so glad to have my vehicle back that Im willing to forgive the other frustrations Ive experienced. It just seemed that I had to beg for information about what was happening with the repairs. I would call & not get any response…more than several times. The main thing I was actually upset about was the fact that my warranty would have provided five days of a rental vehicle but I never got one. I left my van on Tuesday & got it back nine days later. I work weekends at St. Davids Medical Center & really should have been provided a rental. As it were, I had to bum rides for three shifts & be an inconvenience to someone to provide me a ride to & from work. I was told I dont know if we can even get you one. My thoughts were how is that my responsibility when my warranty covers that? 🤷‍♀️ Anyway... Ill definitely think twice if I ever have to have anything else done to my vehicle about where to have the work done on it. Sorry for the lengthy message...but you did ask.

Brought in for gas cap, engine light, and left turn signal flashing fast.The gas cap we put a new one on, just needed error light reset.Engine light just needed reset.Turn signal, they said issue was software needed update. They updated, charge me and now dash error tells your tail light has issue. Really charged me $377 so dash can tell me that tail lights have issue???Eder Garcia was my service advisor, he called to tell me cost if software upgrade. I asked if it doesn’t fix the problem will I still get charged? He said no we will move onto the next step. He never called to tell us the truck was ready, we called the cashier to find out it was ready.BTW both turn signals now indicate issues. Software update did not fix the issue.I will be looking for a new place to take my trucks for service after the last 2 experiences there.

After picking my car up from this dealership, I got pulled over by a cop because my tail outs were out. Obviously I can assume that an employee turned them off while working on the car and didnt turn them back on afterwards. I would still go here again, but now I know to check for this before driving off.I just want to ask the dealership to not let the customer take their car back with any settings changed, and warn future customers to check that their tail lights are on when they pick up their car.Other than this, the dealership is pretty good and friendly. I got service relatively quick, and my car was fixed within a few days.

I wanted to give a big shout out to Cory Williams at South Point. We bought a new Gladiator the beginning of June and it was probably one of my best buying experiences at a dealership to date. This is the third vehicle Ive purchased from South Point and this was by far the best service Ive received there. He was no pressure and very accommodating. They were willing to negotiate and also didnt pressure us to get an extended warranty or their financing like some dealerships have done in the past.We did have a few issues with our new Jeep after delivery though, but Cory handled everything professionally and courteous. A few items were missing and/or were damaged and although it took a couple of months to resolve do to items being on backorder, he has kept in constant contact this whole time on the status. Ive had very few salesman stay in contact after the sale and he really should be commended for his great service and attitude. I look forward to the next time we need a new car as he will be our go to salesman wherever he may be. Thanks again Cory!

Tom is hands down one of the most delightful and positive people I have encountered who loves cars and people and is an extraordinary ambassador for the dealership. This was the worst car service experience Ive had. I was told I needed a whole new transmission, then after the warranty company said that was not the issue, I was told that I needed new tires. When I came to pick it up, I was told there was a fuel cell issue. I never received a clear answer as to what was wrong with my car. It was there for a week, the only received updates when I called, and I received the car back with nothing having been fixed. I was charged over $300 in labor for the time it took to come up with these shot in the dark fixes. The service manager was rude and unapologetic for the lack of communication or clarity on what was wrong with my car.These guys are crooks. Dont take your car here. Find a local mechanic you can trust as this place validates the cliche that you never take your car to the dealer for service bc they are shady and untrustworthy.

I got an excellent offer on my trade and a good deal with the financing department. It took a little bit longer than usual but I showed up unscheduled on a Monday morning. They provide the option to schedule the service which I will be doing next time.

Service was fast and the employees were very nice. There was a nail in my tire and the rep that took care of me told me that in no way my tire was able to get fixed and that I needed to purchase a new tire and order it with them.I went to discount tires for a second opinion and they fixed it in less than a hour. Reasons I am giving them a 3 and not a 5, basically lying to me and selling me something I didn’t need.

We were so blown away at how well Zach (car salesman) took care of us. We felt no pressure and he actually helped us find the right truck for us when I had my eye on one that (in hindsight) would not have covered our needs. I went in recently looking to purchase a used truck I had seen on their website. When getting there I was immediately greeted by Levi. Levi was great, friendly and knowledgeable. When speaking with Levi we cut the BS and got straight to the point. Levi was hands down honest and upfront about everything immediately earning my trust. I waited there for an oil change and no one notified me that it was done. Was there for 2 hours. I had to go on my own and check. I did let the tech know I was going to be there to wait. Also they didn’t reset my oil life sensor to its settings and still haven’t been able to do it. Last time, like six months ago, I had my tires rotated as well as an oil change and they lost my dodge center cap. Called them to let them know and directed me to supervisor, never did I get a call back and of course called back and same thing.. I had to go buy another. Bad service and very disappointed ….

We got a used Tesla Model Y. Due to high demand we went to see it ASAP a Sat morning around 11am as we missed many opportunities before. Sales rep. Joshua Montes seemed Ok guy and went to work right away on our trade and our deal....again sellers market.We were there 4 hrs plus with a hungry toddler and by the time all was done and we got ready to go we didnt notice that what looked like a sap stain on the windshield was actually a deep rock chip.Called right away on Monday and told sales Joshua who said he wanted to do right by us. That was the last time I heard from him and the dealership.NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANY....DONT TRUST THE DO RIGHT BY THE CUSTOMER BULL EITHER. They got their deal and walked out on keeping a future customer.Update....you might see manager replied to this and asked for me to call. I did 4 times, messages left prior times until he finally answered.....just a show to say they tried helping...buyer beware. That same week I got hit with $35 Supercharger charges on my trade in.

Dropped my vehicle off there & it’s been there 2 weeks. I go up there randomly and someone has been digging through my car. Glove box was open & receipts were all over the place and my center console was gone through as well. They’re looking to steal from customers vehicles. I never once said I had an issue with my console or my glove box… so it doesn’t make sense that all of my belongings in my glove box would be thrown all over my car. Last time my car will ever see this dealership, I don’t recommend ANYONE go through their service shop. They go through your car, whether you have belongings in there or not, these people have NO Business going through your vehicle. South Point Dodge is unprofessional & they claim they don’t have cameras… sad.

I had researched Dodge Ram 1500s in the Austin area, and South Point was the 3rd stop of the day on 03/10/2021. Upon arrival, I was met with a smile and a service minded sales associate by the name of Kiel Freeman. Kiel immediately made me feel at ease, and I was transparent from the start on what my expectation was as far as negotiations and that I had the ability to negotiate at the other dealerships I had previously visited. Kiel was very transparent with me on what I could expect and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease on what I could expect from him. I recently was involved in a bad vehicle accident, so needed this car buying experience to go well, and Kiel ensured this took place. There was no haggling, there was no pressure; just an honest conversation between two good people. I would rate Kiel a ten out of ten as far as courtesy, professionalism, and passion for what he does. It really shows. We have had three separate experiences with the service department. We took the brand new vehicle back for service for the air bag three times. When we purchased the vehicle, we needed some replacement items because they were missing. One month later, and the replacement items were never even ordered. Our sales person was wonderful in helping us, but the service department doesn’t care and an issues should be fixed right rhe first time…not the third time.

In August, 2021, I bought my Ram 1500 at South Point Dodge Chrysler in Austin. I live in Killeen but went to Austin for better deal if possible. I felt that I had a good deal at South Point. I bought my Durango here, too, in October 2015. I traded it in to purchase a Ram 1500 this time. My agent Elton was very courteous and willing to help me every way he could. Absolutely terrible service. I went into the dealership and they quoted me $600 for a job, then told me it would be $850. I called them and discussed the major difference between what was charged and quoted and then they dropped the price to $650. This shows that they were originally trying to inflate the price to take advantage of me. They also kept promising me that the car would be finished and it was not finished for 3 days after they originally said it would be done. They never gave me an update either unless I called and pressed them for an answer.They did not stay true to their word and tried to take advantage of me. I would not recommend anyone to this dealership for service.

I took my car in with a flat tire and they told me it would be $275 to replace it. I was confused as the tire costs $150. I asked 3 times if it was the same tire that was already on the car and was repeatedly told yes and that the tire cost was accurate. When I get my car back they put a F1 Supercar tire on which is why it was so expensive. Same brand and same size but NOT THE SAME TIRE. They also didn’t want to do warranty work on the same visit because it was covered and tried to tell me I would have to wait 2 days if I wanted my warranty covered issue to be looked at. If you have a chance to go elsewhere, please do so.

As soon as my husband and I arrived Princeton was there holding the door open for us to walk through. He worked hard in getting my husband in a new truck.Most car salesmen send over their manager to try to get us into signing deals that most people don’t want. Not him he was straight up showed us what we were able to get and had my husband driving off the lot in a new truck within a couple of hours.Ask for Princeton when you walk in to get a new car.

This place is a bunch of crooks!!Getting a state inspection should be a set fee of $18.50 - car passed with no work needed, but they tried to charge an extra $8.80 for miscellaneous items that they could not explain. Only after inquiring about it did they agree to remove it after being unable to explain why it was being charged. I know its not a large amount, but who knows who else theyre trying to scam out of money by trying to throw random charges under the radar.Bad experience after bad experience with this place. Steer clear.

Have bought 2 vehicles in the past from South Point and went to get a new Ram 1500. As always was treated with professionalism and courtesy. I found a truck online drove from Cedar Park to Southpoint Dodge. My salesman was Elton and said that truck had sold. I wasnt very happy but test drove another one and loved it however the price was $7k more and I wasnt really happy. But as always Southpoint came through and worked with me on a better price and gave me what I asked for on my trade. Elton is AWESOME this young man was professional and HONEST. He didnt give up and worked with SALES MANAGER DAVID TO KEEP ME. From Elton, David SM, and finance guy sorry cant remember his name my experience was great. Next day received text message from David G in customer service asked how my experience went and I told him some of my issues. He spoke to GM and they gave me a spray in bed liner which I am extremely happy about 👏WOW thats customer service. So thank EVERYBODY and especially ELTON FOR BEING A SUPERSTAR. I had driven the same vehicle for 15 years and am so excited to be in a beautiful preowned car. I thought I would have to sell my old vehicle in order to get what it was worth.I was dreadinghaving to deal with strangers in order to do that. I got a fair deal on my trade and avoided having to sell my car myself. I was able to get the new to me vehicle I wanted. I highly recommend this dealership.

I wanna say that this truck is a game changer, you want pulling power in a 1500 y’all better go get a Dodge Ram. I can only imagine what a bigger size truck pulls with this Hemi/Torque. Went car shopping on a rainy Saturday stopped by another dealership up the road but left because they were just too pushy and not really helpful when it came to understanding what I wanted and what felt comfortable with paying . Had a great experience buying a car with Josh M. We found the car online and Josh had it pulled up to the front, ready for a test drive, when we arrived. The car was priced very reasonably and in great condition (three years old). Josh took us on a long test drive and was very knowledgeable about the particular make and model. Josh made the experience fast and easy, about three hours from start to finish. One star off because they were not negotiable at all on the price (but, as stated, it was already reasonably based on our pretty extensive research). Also, finance did not seem to work very hard to find a solution for my need to put an out-of-state relative (who is moving here soon) on the financing and title, so that I would not have to pay to transfer title down the line; perhaps it was impossible, but they did not seem knowledgeable or comfortable with state-to-state rules.

I inquired about a vehicle over the weekend, he brought the vehicle out to my location to test drive on Monday afternoon, and made the entire process quick, easy and smooth. Excellent experience. After having another dealer try to low-ball me on my trade in, and then add $2500 worth of dealer installed extras that were worthless on to the car that were not listed on their website, I was treated fairly and respectfully at South Point Dodge. They gave me an excellent price on a new Grand Cherokee and also paid KBB value on my trade, saving me at least $5k over a dealer in San Marcos. No attempt to up-sell me at all. I believe I was in the finance office for 5 minutes total, and at the dealership for under 90 minutes total. I would buy from them again.Ask for AJ. He was great

Darnell was great. Not rude at all. Didn’t push running a credit check first before talking business which was top tier customer service. Genuinely just wanted my business. Salesmen at other dealerships were rude and condescending and didn’t want to crunch numbers first or talk discounts, just run a credit check and after I said no they always refused service. I was paying in cash. Darnell, thanks again!

The absolute worst service. I put a $500 deposit down on a Jeep Wrangler that I specifically asked Corey if it had black seats to ensure it was fully blacked out. I had been looking for a completely blacked out Jeep with a touch-button roof. He confirmed in writing that it was, so I drove 4hrs from Dallas down to Austin with the intention to buy.Upon arrival, Corey did not greet me and passed me off to another rep. I soon found out the Jeep had a mechanical issue that neither Corey or Niko told me about before I drove down. We had been emailing back and forth before I hit the road. Because of this issue, I was told that I could buy the car but not test drive it first. Next, I realized the Jeep also did not have the correct color seats as promised. In addition, they lowballed my trade-in value $13K less than a local dealership in DFW had quoted me.To top off the experience, they did not refund my $500 deposit as promised until I called them back two weeks later. Corey’s excuse was, “Oh, I got busy and forgot…. Can I call you back later?”

Returned my car to me with an additional 15,000 miles on the odometer and stated theres nothing they can do about it. Would not return the replaced part so I was unable to investigate the issue myself. Offered 0 guidance on how to go about resolving the issue. Really left me hanging, poor attention to large details.
