I recently purchased a new Santa Fe from this dealership. While sales people are expected to be friendly my experience was particularly good. I was able to get the car I want rather quickly and they helped me along the process at every step. Timmy Wiles was my sales person and I worked with Gabriel for doing the paperwork. Both of them were extremely helpful in figuring out the options and were very honest about what I was getting into. Im not a rookie with finances so I know what is a good deal and what is not. I could tell they were being transparent and were not pressuring me into anything I didnt want. If you are looking for a Hyundai this is a great place to go.

My salesman was great. Pouya is very helpful and you can trust him. I really recommend him. Also ask for Sonny he is the sales manager and will make sure things are done right. And make sure when you go into finance you double check the number!! And you do not have to get the warranty to get a lower rate! Do not let them force that on you.

Not the cleanest place and when my car came back from detailing, there were still lots of plastic and stickers attached. Would buy another car here though and recommend others to do the same.

I have nothing but good things to say about the team here. Our sales person Art was was friendly and not pushy at all. He just showed us what was available and was crystal clear about the realities of the 2021 car market and what to expect. Ultimately decided on a used car. Got a great deal. Carter in financing was able to get us a great APR on our loan and was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this dealer. I’m not the sort of person to leave reviews but felt it absolutely necessary with how good my experience was with this team.

I will never buy a Hyundai again from this dealership. Not because of the car, because the service center is a complete joke. I received a recall/ update for my vehicle. So what do I do? Went online and requested service for the recall... At this point they know my Vin # and everything about my car. Fast forward to a month later for the earliest appointment. I get there and Im told my Car/ Vin# doesnt need the recall update... Wow thanks for wasting my time. Nothing like driving an hour and half for no reason. If you are looking to purchase a Hyundai look elsewhere.

I am 60yrs. Old and it is a different world out there. I have a 2016 Tucson and I have 5 window regulators go out! Round Rock Hyundai postponed my appointments through COVID until it was out of warranty and then told me “why don’t you just take it to where you bought it….South Point! I called South Point. They said they would look at it no charge and see if they can help me. Showed up and they explain there is a charge to diagnose and there is nothing they can do under warranty. No more Hyundai’s.

Derrick was by far the most helpful and thoughtful car salesman that I have come across. He was attentive to my texts and calls within a timely manner and really made me feel special. But also was very upfront and transparent about everything and I appreciated that a lot! The whole entire team that helped me out was great, (can’t remember all of their names but Steve was one!) I just wanted to take a minute to rate my amazing experience at South Point Hyundai. After not having a car for over a month and shopping around unsuccessfully, I came into this exhausted drained. I was immediately reached out to via text and email after making an inquiry online and I was able to get the process going over text and come in same day knowing what I wanted. The process from beginning to end was incredibly smooth and stress free, something I was especially nervous about since this was my first time financing a new car from a dealer. I give high praise to my salesman Sheldon Boyce who was genuinely friendly and professional, and moved quickly while helping me understand every aspect of the deal and making made me feel comfortable throughout, even helping me get a good deal on insurance. I never felt pressured I felt like I was in good hands with both him and Carter all the way through. I walked out with the last available car I wanted! Edit again:Although they responded that they would be reaching out, nobody has reached out.Editing my review to add:Once I got my car home from the lot, I was showing my partner the features of the car and we both noticed the front camera was cracked to the point of affecting visibility for the front view. I went back the next day and let the staff know of the issue. They told me the warranty might not cover it because I had already taken the car home, and it could have happened on the ride home. Sure, thats reasonable, but I have since called multiple times, stopped by multiple times (each time told that Chris in service was not available) to see if I can get it fixed, regardless if I have to pay for it or not. Nobody has ever returned my calls or emails. Even Eddie Gomez, the Customer Relations Manager, has not returned my calls or emails. So, Eddie, why did you reach out with a generic email asking how my customer service was if you never intended to actually provide me with any customer service? So, as much as I love my car, and Im happy I got it, I am still driving around with a busted front camera and nobody at Hyundai has responded to me.Original review:I had a great experience at South Point Hyundai. We acknowledge that these are tough times with labor shortages & supply chain issues and want to give grace to South Point Hyundai. We brought our 2020 Palisade in on 10/4 and the issues were finally completed on 10/20. The most disappointing thing was the utter lack of communication throughout the whole process. I had to repeatedly call both the service advisor or service department to find anything out. First, I wish they had warned us when we dropped the car off that service was taking a long time & that rental cars were next to impossible to get. Given that I formation, I may have chosen to delay service. Second, the 2 times I did hear from the dealership were confusing: once the service advisor called & left a message saying the part needed had arrived and could I bring the car back in (my Vehicle was there the entire time). Next the service department operator called to ask if I had heard from the service advisor and if everything was ok - wish I had received this call while my car was in the shop instead of 2 days after I picked the car up (she didn’t realize the car was gone). That said, there were only 2 service advisers instead of 6 and parts & car rentals are hard to come by. Communication goes a long way in keeping customers feeling satisfied.

I’ll start this review by stating the good I have the sante Fe Sport and it’s problems are fixed. I spent around $3,100 for the completed repairs. The items replaced were the catalytic converter, one O2 sensor, and a car door actuator. I feel it’s a little expensive but acceptable since it’s maintenance at a dealership. Now for my service representative Edgar is one of the best. However, I feel as good as he is as a service representative I feel his strength isn’t being utilized to its fullest potential. That man needs to be laterally moved to the sales department. Why? Because he was amazing at helping me choose the repair needed for the vehicle. And motivating me afterward. A man like that is a rare find in the auto industry. However to truly maximize his potential he should be a front man of the dealership. Since he’s very courteous and handsome it’ll likely draw people to want to see the dealership. For many image is everything. Since he’s Hispanic he could be a good car salesman even to the Arabic speaking community for the same reason. Sales maybe his calling. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Have been searching for a good dealership to purchase a Palisade from. Sent out online request and got a very quick response from Timmy one of their salesman. He has work with me in a very transparent and helpful manner. I have had several dealerships in Houston and central Texas that have been very poor in response and information. Timmy has been great and we put a deposit down today to lock in a purchase. There were other dealerships who I visited before I met Timmy at South Point who had a failed to secure my business. Ive been coming here for about 8 years and the experience has never been great, but the last 4 years have been horrible. The staff is courteous and nice enough, hence the 2 stars. My previous visit was for an oil change, that took 4 hours and when I came home I found oil leaking all over my garage. This last visit was also for routine maintenance and I asked them to look at a squeaking sound. They told me it was going to take 1.5-2 hours, so I opted to wait. I was there for 5 hours. Then when I finally asked whats going on with my car they promptly finished the work, like they forgot about it and me, even though I was in their waiting room the whole time. They told me they found the issue, but I have to make a separate appointment to actually come and fix it. I ended up paying $200 for an oil change and the diagnosis. Unfortunately there arent really any other options around for an authorized Hyundai service center, but at this point it will be faster and cheaper to just take my car for maintenance and repairs to any regular mechanic.

Worst service experience Ive ever had. I had a 1pm appointment to get my car service. The car sat in the reception area for 50 minutes. I sat in one of the benches in the area where people dropped off cars. After sitting there for 2.5 hours, my service writer asked me my name so he could check on my car. I pointed to where my car was parked and told him to just attach the front license plate holder (Im a move in from Florida) and Id come back for the recall work and get all the other services performed elsewhere. At 4:45 I was able to pick up my car with the front license plate holder installed and the recall work completed. I went the next day to Service One Automotive in Bee Caves where in 90 minutes they changed oil, did Hyundai maintenance work required (4 items replaced or flushed), and replaced a battery. They explained why the service work was recommended and treated me like a valued customer. I will NEVER return to South Point Hyundai for anything but recall work. I may even drive to Round Rock to have the work done so I dont have to return to South Point Hyundai. I never had these issues at Tamiami Hyundai in Naples, Florida that always provided outstanding service.

Not a legitimate company if they cant service their own vehicles they sell, within a reasonable amount of time. 1 month (30+ days) is NOT reasonable and especially when dangerous recall. They offer no loaners nor any other suggestions. They say dont tow your vehicle here because we cant look at it for a month. -This is their new policy and Hyundai sales depend on their warranty and service advertisements! IE: MAJOR deal breaker for buying future cars from this manufacture.

The only negative thing was that in the three years that Ive been using your service department, Ive never left there without having my car washed. Do not go here. The customer service is unacceptable. I’ve taken my car here three times and every time I can’t seem to get a straight answer. They run a million unnecessary diagnostic tests then try to charge you for it. I was not kept updated with the status of my car. They don’t answer the phones. I’ve been put on hold for 15 minutes and longer (I didn’t hang up because I’m stubborn).... and then hung up on. I had to leave three voicemails before a call back. I don’t ever leave reviews but I’ll never take my car back to South Point again.

Our SouthPoint experience began with a dash warning light for the electronic steering assist. We had purchased our Elantra from SouthPoint and had maintenance done there a number of times so we decided to take it there.The earliest appointment available was several weeks out. What we didn’t realize was that our car would not be worked on until A FULL WEEK after we handed it over. I still don’t understand why we couldn’t have been able to make our appointment for when they would be ready to work on the car. Instead, SouthPoint acted as if this was perfectly normal.The day before work began, I got a call from our Service Advisor, Pedro. He told me that the assigned mechanic had diagnosed the problem as a small plastic part (steering coupling) that is a known problem with this model. Also, this was a recall so no charge. Cool!And also, Pedro said the mechanic had prepared a list of recommended preventive maintenance tasks that I should respond to online. The list of 12 items would have cost almost $2500 and included many I was certain the car did not need. I declined all 12 on the online form and submitted it. The following day, I was told they never got the online form submission, but they now understood I didn’t want any preventative maintenance and they were good to begin.So, later that day, I’m told the original diagnosis was incorrect, and a new steering column assembly had to be ordered, requiring about 3 days. Also, this was suddenly no longer a recall issue, meaning an out of pocket of $1700.The steering assembly arrived on Tuesday and the car was finally ready on Thursday, 13 days after our appointment. During this period, there were several times calls were not returned or we were told things that were not correct. Both my patience and my trust feel abused, and I do not intend to return.On a high note, the steering is fine now.

The stars go to the girls working the phones. They are knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, happy to help. Some of the guys at the shop are nice too although they’re near impossible to reach - it always goes to vm.It’s the organization of their business that needs an overhaul. They are either way under staffed or poorly managed. Can’t get a car to do a basic maintenance for a month. Finally brought my car in and it took several days to diagnose. No loaner cars so had to spend hundreds on a rental vehicle. Recommended repairs exceeding my car value, although my car drives fine. The prices are obviously ridiculous. Eg $50+tax for a cabin air filter change (a 2min job)! Exactly why I normally never service my car at the dealership. Pep Boys does the job same or next day for half the price and same (if not better) quality.Edit: forgot to mention that the service department told me I need a new battery, that mine was about to die. I was shocked since I had bought a brand name battery less than a year ago. Took my car to pep boys and asked them to test the battery. Test showed my battery was perfectly fine.Another Hyundai dealership in New York told me back in 2015 that my serpentine belt is cracked and will destroy the engine if I don’t fix it ASAP. The quote was for some $500. I drive it to this day six years later with no issues and my local mechanic again said the belt has no cracks. What is with these dealerships? Is it incompetence or fraud? Idk which ones worse!

Great experience at this dealership. Dustin helped me find the right vehicle, and I left with a beautiful certified pre owned Kona. The process is easy, they go through all the paperwork with you so you know what you’re signing. I got to test drive the vehicle and check it out. They have a few different packages available, but they don’t try to push them on you which was nice. They washed and detailed my new car for me while I was going through the financial process. Beware!I left my vehicle with the service center thinking it was in good hands. They had it for 3 days. When I arrived to pick it up, I noticed its had dirty greasy hand prints all over it. I can clean that so no biggie. Then I went to grab my sun shades out of my glove box and realized that my glove box and middle console had been completely cleaned out. Everything I had stored in both was gone. A bag I had in the back seat of my car had been dumped out and things were missing from there as well. My car had been broken into while on their lot for service. When I brought this up to them I was told basically oh yea that happens. All I can do is say sorry. I was promised a call from the service director...never got one. Its not okay that I left my car with them and they left it unlocked and unsupervised and my stuff was taken! And that no one seems to care or wants to make it right.

Went in for an oil change on my 2018 Genesis. When I checked in the gentlemen saw that my vehicle had two recalls. One of these recalls involved an potentially dangerous ABS issue. However, when I received my invoice and paid, I asked the service tech if they had completed the ABS recall fix and he didnt seem to know what I was talking about. So, I do not know if the work was performed or not.Also, I was quoted $49 plus tax for the oil change. When I got my bill I was charged for one extra quart and the bill came out to be $66. He should have know how much oil my car would take prior to doing the service as this is his job. Not a huge deal, but felt a little unprofessional.

Took two trips to actually fix my issue. No call in with updates as both requested and promised. Didnt have the final paperwork ready after giving them an extra hour prior to picking up and STILL do not have the final receipt and paperwork from the last fix. Actively avoiding using them despite the fact they are by far the closest to me.

I had an awful service experience with Hyundai or RR a few months ago...so I really didnt even want to bother with another Hyundai dealership...however my want for a Tucson or Palisade led me to SouthPoint and the experience was wonderful!
