I tried Fara Cafe for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Both my drink and pizza were surprisingly good. Ill stop here again when I pass through Austin Bergstrom Airport in the future.

Dont go there, dont waste your good mood. Just asking the guy something and he exploded. Just insane how rude he was, dont see me back there!

Very friendly service, got the iced Chai and it was amazing. The salads are fresh as well. Visiting from Baltimore and it was a pleasant first view of Austin, TX 😊

Departures Level by Southwest door.Kassie was an absolute darling. Super on top of everything, going out of her way for that extra touch of service and to confirm my order - giving me options I didnt even know I wanted until she asked.

I enjoyed visiting, staying, coding and eating at this place. I could spend a couple of hours just resting before ordering anything. Sandwiches here are really good. I tried the tuna salad sandwich with fresh salad and rich flavour. Staff is very kind. Prices are affordable. I highly recommend this place.

Luis and Dalton went out of there way to take care of me and make sure I reached my flight while creating such a welcoming atmosphere, fast service and excellent coffee - truly the BEST experience at a coffee shop I have had, thank you and cant wait to see you there again in Austin!

Just walked up there and no bartender... noticed he was sitting down reading a book. Was told very promptly they we couldnt be there because we had our 12 year old daughter. You cant be here, what were looking to do hang out? Umm no sir, we were looking to have a drink before we go through security and get on our flight. I proceeded to ask if there were any other places we could go with our daughter.. this ignorant fella walked away angry and even threw his book down and proceeded to walk. Umm. With everything crazy going on in the world the least you can do is be kind. Definitely terrible 1st impression and service or lack there of. So now we spent 200 in drinks at saxons pub in the heart of Austin at the airport. You rude fella just lost yourself business and a great tip because that was only our first order. 🎄 happy holiday

Pretty impressed with the prices here and portion. Got a kolache and tuna salad sandwich. The kolache was heated up for you and the tuna salad had plenty of tuna without much mayo( which is great). Total was about $9. Lots of tables. On landside.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Horrible bar tenders. I rarely write bad reviews but I so wanted to write one for this coffee shop because of a bar tender. He was so rude, does not listen to your order and wants to go to next customer. He frowned many times when I asked him what the contents were. I so wanted to cancel the order and walk away but I did not want to create a scene. Needless to say, most of my order was messed up. Avoid this, there are so many around which are better.

Paul is the best bartender in town!!!! Good thing he’s upstairs at the airport! Go see him and tell him I sent you, you won’t regret it.

All of these good reviews must be from people who were not served by that awfully rude, careless, only looking for tips bartender from upstairs. I wish I could remember his name. It was the worst first impression after arriving to Austin and Texas overall. The worst customer service in the whole U.S.! I guess the bartender being in his 30 - 40s is not happy to work there and spreads his anger on customers who do not tip him (what he thinks) good enough. So sad.

Have been to both the down stairs Coffee Shop and the upstairs Sky Bar. My first time in Austin I went to the Coffee Shop and it was great, the employees were very friendly and helpful, my coffee was delicious, and my pastries was also very good.The Sky Bar was also awesome. My second time in Austin I had an hour and a half break before my flight so I decided to go up and see what the Sky Bar had to offer. I was able to get on their free WiFi and take care of some business while I was served a cold Shiner Bock. The waitstaff was very friendly and took care of me.I liked it so much I told all of my family to order Fara Coffee from their online store. Keep it up Fara!

Maybe the worst bar in a Airport I have ever been to. Expensive and kinda weird people. Best is to go thru security and enjoy some other options.

I just want to say that is one of the most disturbing place. My brother passed away 4 days ago and my wife was waiting for me to arrive. My wife is 8/2 months Pregnant and she walk to this place to ask them a plastic fork. This person that works on this place look my wife and told her (The plastic fork is only for customers) and when she tries to ask if she can buy something he just gave his back and just left her hanging there. LOL! Now if you guys want to be inside an airport you guys should know that you guys are dealing with people with all kind of sensitive moments and you should have the right respect for people special an 8-month Pregnant woman. We could even buy your restaurant if we want special with all the plastic forks. The Austin International Airport should be ashamed to have a place that treat people like they are nothing.

If one is traveling from ABIA and are accompanied by family or friends that are not traveling, theres an alternative to spend more time with them after checking in for ones flight and going thru security. Fara is a great café with magnificent coffee exported from Nicaragua to Austin where the beans are carefully roasted unlike some trendy buckaroos. Light refreshments, sandwiches, salads and pizza slices are offered as well. If one frequents ABIA as I do, a Fara coffee cup can be purchased for $10 and refills will be only $1. Now if one requires refreshments with authority, like myself, there is Fara Sky Bar above the coffee shop. Try it, youll love it!

Horrendous customer service. Rude, arrogant, and ignorant teenager took my order. Didn’t know what a “mocha” was and insisted that “mocha” just means “chocolate milk”. Terrible experience in every respect. Coffee was gross too.

Complained that they don’t take American Express because it costs too much for them.They complained to me about the cost of things in an AIRPORT. AN AIRPORT.

Extremally rude personel work there, and they are doing nothing to change it. The most horrible person Ive ever met was the tall, blond and blue eyed barman. They treat people like a s... Only cares about money! Such a shame there is no other choice at the arrival area. If you want to rest or eat something after long flight, you need to deal with those rude people .Especially the guy from upstairs.

Worst airport bar ever. The bartender wasnt at the bat for 10 minites, theb used warm coke in our drink, and beer was stale. I left the change on the bar, then he comes to our table and asked us where we worked, then said maybe I should come to your job and not pay you. He took our recipe and walked away. Such a dirtbag.

Waitress with snotty attitude looked at me as I walked in, frowned and turned hwr back to me. Started texting and refused to take anyones orders for 20 min. Unbelievable that she has a job. Profits must be zero.

Bartended came to our table and bitched us out because he didnt think his tip was good enough.
