Great service, kind owner, good food. You can find it going down some stairs, not on street level.

I have yet to have a bad experience eating at Thistle Cafe and have eaten here 10-15 times. The breakfast tacos (especially the barnyard and country) and sandwiches are bomb.Today I tried their California club wrap and tomato basil bisque which was also great.Aside from the food, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.

My fish wrap with side salad was reasonably priced under $10. However, I have had better. The flavor of the fish was lost because I think it was dwarfed by the lettuce and other veggies.

Herman has been running this place for 22 years and everything is excellent. The breakfast tacos and smoothies are amazing. Go for the Veggie Garden taco and Chipotle. The waffles are generous and delicious!

This restaurant is very good! I come here before work every morning to do school, and the staff are always so sweet, and the food is really good!! I place a mobile order and just check in and they bring the food to me, which is really nice of them! Please come check them out!! Im vegetarian and they have beyond burgers here which is really nice, but my fav thing is their quesadillas and breakfast tacos. Theres something for everyone here, I 100% recommend.

I really enjoyed eating at Thistle Cafe on 6th Street. It was a bit hard to find - you have to go down some stairs into an office building - but it was worth it. Everybody was so friendly - the other customers, the person taking my order, even the guy making the food. I had a pair of breakfast tacos, which were quite yummy! There were a lot of options for food, so there is surely something for everyone. The coffee was very strong, which was nice. It was quick and I was able to grab my breakfast and get back to work. It was also not very expensive, which I appreciated.

Its easy to walk by from the street, but take the stairs down and grab some fairly priced and healthy food! There is a courtyard to sit outside when the weather is nice, and the staff is always friendly. Not a place you probably take clients, but great for every day breakfast and lunch with friends and coworkers.

Thistle Cafe checks all the boxes - great food, great quality, great service, fast, convenient, and right in the middle of downtown. Its a lovely jewel. I almost dont want to tell people about it because I want to keep it for my own special place... But its just too good not to share.

Absolutely love this cafe. Great customer service. Great breakfast and lunch menus. And they make the most delicious lattes! A must eat place.

Great Tacos

Love the people at this location however i do not love uncooked potato in my breakfast tacos. Can yall make sure the potato is cooked all the way through? I have stopped coming here as often because of this and today I had one taco that was perfect and the other had oddly crunchy, half cooked potato

How could you not give this place five stars? Delicious food and s menu that has enough variety to keep me coming back without being overwhelming. And all at a price the average office worker can afford.And yes, its true that if you go back, they do remember your name! Its like Cheers... But for lunch instead of happy hour!

Absolutely love this place! Great prices & specials & everyone is sooooo nice. The gentleman that takes customer orders somehow is able to remember customer names & previous orders (to include my love of crunchy ice)! As I type this, my co-workers are going on and on about how great the breakfast tacos are! ❤️ This place!

I work in the chase building and Thistle is the lifeblood of the culture of the building. The main man behind the counter remembers all his regulars names. I would recommend this to anyone downtown who wants to support a local Delicious spot. The breakfast sandwiches are to die for and their lunch menu us poppin.

I love Thistle.In the madness of overpriced, overrated food shops in the downtown area I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great lunch location.So far Ive only ordered the Cheeseburger daily lunch special and I have loved it every time. For less than $10 I get a monster burger loaded with cheese and bacon and a small side. That is a lot cheaper than 90% of locations in the downtown area, and even eateries outside of downtown.They also have an amazing Garden (veggie) burger for those non-meat eaters.

My team and I try to make it out every Friday for breakfast tacos. Seriously the best hidden spot in Downtown, and their fajita breakfast tacos are killer.The owner is super friendly and is always in a rush to help YOU.

First time stopping in today before work. I grabbed 3 breakfast tacos and they were delicious!Staff was extremely friendly and the customer service was on point. Ill more than likely turn this into a morning pit stop before heading into work.

This is my go-to place for breakfast tacos. Its located near my work on West 6th between Colorado and Lavaca Streets in a office building. Take the stairs down off of the street. They have grab and go tacos and will also make tacos to order if you want something different. I get a veggie taco with eggs, spinach, mushrooms, and tomato for $2. Tacos with meat are $2.50. They make the eggs perfectly and I can get a taco without meat. They also have coffee and freshly made pastries.
