Very disappointed about the service level at this location. Repeatedly wasted time trying to pick up prescriptions which werent appearing anywhere on the system (which another branch was easily able to find, transfer, and fill), followed by an attempted PCR test for which the staff member just didnt turn up.We werent called ahead of time, were told to just try again in an hour when another staff member might be available, and had to push to get a call back.Things like people and systems can always go wrong, but its the poor communication and lack of proactive offering solutions that makes this branch a miss. Try another one.
The pharmacy at this place is absolutely disorganized and incompetent. If you rely on medication, I urge you to get it sent elsewhere. This place has repeatedly told me they do not have my prescriptions and blamed the doctor although I had a phone message from their system that its ready for collection. It has been happening several times. They deny having it or filling it, then a week later Ill get a text urging me to pick up. Any other pharmacy has no problem finding my prescriptions and filling them same day. I had to go to another cvs and have them transfer my prescription to them so they could give it to me because w Anderson lane was adamant that they do not have my prescriptions.Upon inquiring, they simply shrug their shoulders. I also made the mistake to schedule a Covid test at this branch and upon arrival was told that the tester didnt come in that day, after asking what I should do about that, the person at the window just said not my fault they didnt come in. No one said it was their fault, but the management at this place is severely lacking and if you know someone doesnt come in, maybe notify the patients that had to sign up and book for a Covid test up front that their appointment is cancelled or transfer them to another branch.Im sure no one is going to read this but this place needs a serious overhaul on customer service, communication and their prescription system.
Went to this location for a rapid covid test after my appointment at another location had been cancelled with only a 2-hour notice (travelers, dont use CVS).I got literally yelled at by the lady who was delivering the test because according to her, I would NOT be able to board a plane WITHOUT a PCR test. I told her she didnt know what she was talking about and needed help to find a rapid covid test and she literally walked away.Incompetence + horrible customer service.
Megan, the manager on duty this evening, is a super hero! I came in looking for a weighted blanket that the CVS website still showed as available. When Megan reached out to assist me and I inquired about the weighted blankets, they were all sold out. I told her how much I really wanted one and she offered to go and check in the back for the most recent shipments just in case some had come in. Low and behold, some had just arrived! Her attitude and concern and willing to go the extra mile was amazing. It really made my evening because I was hoping to get this weighted blanket to help me get a better sleep tonight. Thanks again, Megan!
Terrible terrible customer service. Waited 35 minutes in the drive-thru lane with five cars ahead of me. Then for a COVID test I already had scheduled and to pick up a prescription that was already filled I was there for 11 minutes. So 46 minutes for an existing customer to get a COVID test and pick up a prescription.
CVS recently started COVID testing in the worst possible way: they’re providing self-administered nose swab tests. Not only are these tests very unreliable, but you CANNOT expect the average patient to correctly swab their own sinuses! It is highly uncomfortable to do properly, which leads most people to return inadequate samples. A customer could never trust a negative result from these tests! For CVS to offer these tests (for profit) amidst a pandemic and give people false senses of security is awful. While CVS reaps in their money, misled customers will continue to spread the virus. Please don’t get tested here!
As other reviews have mentioned, i made an appointment for COVID-19 testing AND after waiting in line for 45 minutes was turned away and told to make a new appointment. I saw the tech speaking to the pharmacist about how theres no way its been that long since youve been in line. Ummm, yes, yes it has. GO ELSEWHERE.
Made an appointment for COVID testing at their drive thru. I have been to other CVS locations and accomplished this without significant delay or wait. I have been waiting in the drive thru line approximately forty minutes and not a single car has advanced thru the line. I would not recommend this location for COVID testing.
The drive thru is TERRIBLE. I have been waiting for over 45 minutes and there are still 3 cars in front of me. I will be taking my business to Walgreens from now on.
I like this location but the manager was pretty rude and made me uncomfortable.
Have to agree with positive reviews! Great people! Nathan is so kind and helpful, the pharmacist seemed genuinely interested in educating the patient about his medications and how to take them properly. The pharmacy techs were patient and kind to us and got the meds he needed. Great store!
I was on HOLD for over HALF an HOUR with the pharmacy. I finally gave up waiting on hold & decided to go in person. When I went in to the pharmacy, Christy was extremely rude & condescending. I would try a different CVS.
Devin, pharmacist, goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service.Typically, I’m not arriving to the pharmacy for positive reasons but Devin makes the overall experience in having to get medications for my child a positive one.I’ve observed how kind he is to other people coming in as well, the few times I’ve not used the drive thru.Thank you for taking the extra steps you do to ensure your customers’ needs are met.
Prescription wasn’t filled and associate had zero answers on how to help. Talked over me again and again while I tried to ask questions. Could not even tell me which CVS had reached out to my DR. Unbelievable that she couldn’t tell me who had reached out
I cant give enough praise to Nathan, the cashier who helped me out tonight. He was so helpful and friendly; having staff like that really makes a difference. Keep it up!
We have exclusively used this pharmacy for several years and are ALWAYS pleased with the service, friendliness, and efficiency of all of the peeps in Pharmacy. They are quick to refill and always have it ready for pickup. The drive-in works beautifully for us; I would never go to another Pharmacy without one! Thanks for such great service, Guys and Gals, particularly Jeremy, Cory, Judy!
Judy is the most compassionate, caring, helpful, and knowledgeable pharmacist I have ever met. If I could only clone her and place her behind the counter at every place I go to buy something, I would not have any gray hairs. I spoke to two other pharmacists at the same location and although they were very polite and professional they just could not match Judys helpfulness and knowledge. She is definitely CVSs best employee.
This is a great Pharmacy,I have been using this CVS 1-2 times per month for 2+ years and I have had 0 issues. I get a monthly prescription that has to be called in as a new order each time, my doctor calls the script in between 7:30am and 8:00am during my appointment and I pick it up on my way home around 8:15. Even when they have not even pulled it off the voicemail yet when I arrive they have it ready in 5-10 minutes and never give me any attitude or problems for showing up so quickly to pick it up. It is not a common medication and even though I have had problems with other pharmacies in Austin having it in stock it is always available at this CVS location. I really cant speak for the rest of the store but I can recommend this pharmacy with confidence.
Went in to buy makeup and a planner, makeup are was completely ransacked, dirty, and mostly empty. Planner section still had stock from 2018!!!
Everyone here at this CVS pharmacy are incredibly nice and efficient. They even remember your name, and treat you with great customer service, even while being super busy...their customer care makes me believe that I am important to them as a customer. Thank You Pharmacy Staff, You Rock!
This is your average CVS. They incorrectly filed my prescription under another name (after I made sure they had the right spelling, which often does trip up pharmacists...and everyone for that matter). However, they were apologetic and gracious enough! I skipped the drive-through as the line was super long and slow!
06/03/2019 Came into your CVS store, on W Anderson Ln, across from Walmart, today to purchase a small box of generic Sudafed, and was treated pretty rudely by both the Pharmacist, and her helper. Now, I know they couldnt know that Im very ill (3.5 yrs), and am on pain meds as well as 2 different anti-nauseals, but just because Im taking medication that can make me a little slow in thought forming and speaking, is NO REASON to make me feel like a junky. They never said anything per se, it was just the way they dealt with me, and kept looking at each other. Dont worry, I wont be back. I just thought someone should know. Not that it matters.
Switched to this location from the abysmal Burnett pharmacy. Night . And . Day. So much better... Competent people who dont take 30 mins to process a filled prescription. Four times the distance from my house, I dont even think about not coming here.
The best CVS around. Great place to buy snacks before seeing a movie!
Great pharmacy service. Employees are very kind and helpful.
Really friendly and helpful pharmacy!
Just like every other CVS Pharmacy they are the best in their field, they truly care about there customers. Walgreens and Walmart being the worst. Unless you love waiting forever and being jerked around.
Pharmacy said they would send me a text/email/phone call confirmation when my prescription was ready for pickup and was estimated to be done in an hour. 5 hours later pharmacy is closed and no contact. so I cant reach them for another 14 hours to try and get my medicine....Difficult to reach by phone during pharmacy hours, 15+ minute hold time.
Plesant. Just like all the others.I would like to guve it 3.5 stars.
THIS PHARMACY IS AWESOME! ERIN IS ESPECIALLY SWEET EVERYTIME I GO TO PICK UP AND SHE IS THERE. I LIVE IN CEDAR PARK AND I HATE THE CVS THERE. I TRIED THIS PHARMACY AND IM HOOKED, I WILL DRIVE ALL THE WAY JUST TO PICK UP A RX TO AVOID THE CP LOCATION! WAY TO ROCK IT GUYS AND GALS!
Probably the best CVS Pharmacy in Austin.Keep it up guys. You rock!!
The staff is always efficient and super helpful with calling my doctor or explaining my insurance coverage.
Great pharmacy and have always been impressed with their quality of customer service.
Amazing staff, very friendly and knowledgable. Fill prescriptions while you wait, unlike a lot of pharmacies.
The Pharmacy is the Best!
Cory and all the staff have been very kind and helpful. Thank you!!
They close at 10 on Friday’s. I arrived at 9:15 and everything was closed
Pharmacist give bad advices, shes rude and doesnt know whats talking about.
Average CVS. Used to be open 24 hours, recently scaled back to closing at midnight, which is lame.
Price better than others CVS
Looks a lot like a CVS
Niiice, I like
I stopped in to pick up a couple basic items and needed to stop by the restroom, which upon entering, I quickly decided to wait instead. Both public restrooms were unbelievably dirty. The floors, walls, sinks, and toilets had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time! It is obvious they are not being cleaned daily. Completely filthy..absolutely unacceptable for any business, especially a pharmacy! And then upon attempting to check out, the associate was stocking and even though I just stood there silently waiting, he shouted “you’ll have to hold on.” Then proceeded to wait a couple minutes more before coming over to assist me. He was not busy helping a guest, I could understand if that was the case. Just taking his time putting product out before he came to assist. His name tag said Lionel and he couldn’t have been more dismissive even once he finally got to the register. Awful experience
Beyond rude. Super unhelpful and seems to hate their job.Online it noted rapid testing and when arrived, got thrown from one rep to the other.
