I had an amazing experience here. Parking is a bit interesting buy there are signs everywhere telling you where not to park, so thats really helpful. Prices are affordable and they make the churros in front of you so they are piping fresh. My favorite part was the cashier asked what was the best part of my week. Such a randomly nice thing to ask and instantlyput a smile on my face, we need more people like this!
Probably the best churros Ive ever had, and Ive had a lot. The plain charros were excellent, very CrossFit outside with a study middle, not too greasy and a nice mix of sugar and cinnamon. The Campfire churros were a step above with graham cracker dust, whipped cream, a scoop of vanilla and real roasted marshmallows. Simply amazing.
This little spot hits the sweet tooth hard. Delicious churros with cold and creamy ice cream on a hot Texas day is all you need.
Churros were great! Not too sweet; but if you want extra sweet get some ice cream. Also had the iced choco loco - yummmmmmm
Got Smores and a Date Night. So good!
Love ordering “The Date Night”Super yummy! The first time I ordered, I shared. I regretted it. The next time I came, I got my own and was so much happier!
I LOVE churros, and Churro Co. delivers a great Churro. Workers are extremely friendly. I only wish they would come to my place of business and make them in the parking lot 😄
Great flavor. Smores was the best. A must try.
I have a big sweet tooth so when I was driving around Austin and saw this Churro truck, I had to make sure I tried it! The churro was just the right amount of crispy, and they have different options of toppings. I got the traditional with cajeta and a scoop of ice cream!! I only give it a 4 because I felt the location was a little odd and it can easily be missed. But definitely check it out!!!
Amazing food!!!! Friendly staff and a nice hangout place. Have to drive all the way just for this, totally worth it! Would definitely recommend and live to go back again and again.
The place was cool. Nice menu options. If you’re looking for regular churros, they have some at the bakery next door, but The Churro Co. has some sick options to choose from! We tried out the Rico Suave and the Campfire. Mine was delicious (I wasn’t too big on the campfire, but it wasn’t mine...the marshmallow wasn’t roasted and gooey enough. Yes, the hit the outside to make it look like a good roasted marshmallow, but that’s all it was...just the look of it.) TheRico Suave was perfect, and even though I’m not a fan of strawberry jam, it was delicious. The ice cream on top hit the spot on this really hot day too.
Best place to get churros! You will not be disappointed!
I was hoping to treat my nieces and I to a sweet take-out treat at dinner. I looked at the menu ahead of time on their website and priced out what I would be ordering. I planned to buy 3 of the Traditional Churro orders with Nutella dipping sauce for my two nieces. According to the menu, my total amount of goods purchased would be $10.75 and with Austin sales tax (8.250%), it should total to $11.64. However, when the woman at the counter rung me up, she charged me $15.70. I paused and made a comment about the sales tax being too high and for a moment I tried to do the math in my head. Meanwhile, I went ahead and handed her my card because I HAD to get the churros no matter what (Id already promised my nieces Id bring them home to enjoy with dinner) and before I could figure it all out on my phone for peace of mind, she ran the card and closed the sale. I would have appreciated being asked if I would like to receive a receipt (which Square sales offer) because I wanted to double check the order for pricing to see why it was so much higher. But then she just turned the screen around and called on the next customer. I felt a little cheated and unseen, especially after voicing a concern for the high price. The churros were okay—nothing remarkable. I think for another $16 I can get a Churro maker off of Amazon and just make our own at home. So bummed. I really wanted this to be a good experience.
Overall these churros are magic..when Im sad or depressed thinking bout death ..I go to churro co.....the warm deliciousness of the chocolate drizzle all over the ice cream and cinnamon rode ..Makes my Mind Go BANANAS ! Go to this shine of goodness.....keep in mind they take FOREVER to make...please work on that .
This was my first time having churros, and it was amazing, we got the churros with Mexican vanilla ice cream and Nutella sauce with the mocha. It was so so good. I highly recommend it for people wanting some churros.
Great churro that is made fresh while you wait. Several options as well.
I love Churro Co! Its pretty special to get hot, fresh churros made to order. The campfire is certainly delicious and luxuriant. The simple churro with chocolate sauce and ice cream is comfort food heaven too.
I got the Texas Comfort churro and the Mexican Iced Chocolate drink, totally recommend both but you HAVE to try the drink! Everything was the perfect amount of sweet.
Best churros 😋 and the attention 👌 excellent! 100%+ recommended!
Great churros! Had the Texas Comfort specialty and it was delicious. Lots of seating and reasonable prices.
Great flavor. Smores is a hit
Great tasting everything... loved it.The parking for this place is a bit of a mystery.Be careful not to park in front of the businesses on either side of Churro Co. While they are open. They have signs saying they will tow you.I also had the coke float with cherry dust. It was awesome. If I wasnt afraid of getting fatter, I would go back weekly.
First Churro review, and I must say it was chew chew chew. Those are some good churros. I give them one and 3 zeros! That’s 1000 times better than any other churros I’ve ever had. Since then I’ve been reminiscing, and it makes me sad. Why are you so far from San Diego? How can I get over this craving and let go? We’ll see other again, but till then you’ll remain as my main.....favorite churros.Kudos!
Such a cute food truck. Wide selection of churros and sides. Friendly staff. Neat Austin vibe
Yum. Churros and ice cream and toppings and Mexican hot chocolate (iced or hot), yes, yes, yes. So many food trucks to choose from but this one is a must! Super friendly staff, fresh made churros - make for a must visit snack anytime.Parking is tough on this street, but its definitely worth looking for. They have some benches out front if you want to hangout, we did it San Diego style and tailgated.
This hidden gem is a nice spot to cure a sweet tooth craving. It’s near a busy street so if you are moving to fast you will miss it. There is an area to sit and enjoy your churros. Sweet spot to take your significant other or the entire family. The Texas Comfort was great next time we go I’m going to ask to get the pie filling on top hot.
Ok so I think I may (due to some of the reviews I read) have set the bar a bit high for this place. Dont get me wrong it was good and Ill prob go again ay some point but I think they are a bit over priced for what you get. Im glad we went early in the evening when there was no wait cause I can see the orders getting backed up since it can take a bit for your order to come out. The menu isnt too big but there are several more churro set ups that I want to try eventually. Its a bit out of my way so that is another reason I wont be going back soon but it was good enough that if Im in the neighborhood and have the craving I will stop by. Overall good taste and add ons for the churros but just a bit pricey in my opinion.Enjoy!
There’s no update on their Google hours that they’re temporarily closed. I had to check Instagram for their update. Bummer because I drove all the way here with my pregnant wife!
Churros are decent. However the wait was 23mins on a Saturday night. Just keep that in mind!
Good place to eat delicious churros and I Repair his equipment
Great spot for a sugar fixed. I was upset when they had moved from the riverside location. But glad they are still up and running
You dont even have to get toppings to enjoy these churros. Crunchy and soft inside, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, the churros here are a masterpiece opera in your mouth - delicate yet bold, with all these ingredients working in perfect harmony.Made to order, you can select their half dozen flavor choices or make your own. You can accompany your selection with coffee or their mexican hot chocolate. Either way, whether you chose one of their many flavors or take it plain, you win as nothing beats a hot, freshly fried churro.Let me put it this way, if I was Antonio Salieri, I would describe every bite as, It seemed to me that I was hearing the very voice of God.
Cool little Churro truck with a simple menu. The Campfire Churros are really good, especially if you add ice cream to it. It really makes a difference, and its a nice cold contrast to the warm Churros. Theyve got a nice little area with picnic tables for you to eat if you choose to not get it to go. If you do, however, they supposedly individually box the ice cream, toppings, and Churros. Note that one of my pictures shows the order entirely in a to-go box, this is only because they forgot to make it to-go and I was in a hurry, so just asked that they put it in as is. This wasnt a deal breaker, and Im sure it was an honest mistake. Definitely recommend this place!
Great Churros!Mexican coffee was incredible.Friendly service too.
My wife I loved it, staff is great, definitely a place we making more trips to.
Ive eaten a lot of churros in my time: all over the US, in Mexico, in France, in Spain, etc. Churro Co offers the best churros weve had thus far...only thing even close was some we had at an upscale restaurant in Mexico.Pro tip, if you get a pimped out churro with filling, sauce, ice cream, etc., you may want o remove the churro from the liquid as soon as you get it so it doesnt get soggy.Ridiculously happy to hear that they moved further south and west of I-35, hated the old location. Really wish they had a truck even further south in Austin (e.g. south of Ben White, west of Manchaca) even if just for a couple days a week.
Delicious fresh churros with carmel sauce will never disappoint. But the specials and addons are an occasional treat as well. Ive never had a bad churro from this truck, great to have in the neighborhood!
SLOW. Waited 20+ mins for a churro. Cant explain it because I could see inside the food truck, and they had a fry basket full of them the entire time.
It is not cool to let me people wait in a short (< 5 minute) line and place their order, without telling them that there is a 45+ MINUTE WAIT to get your food. All we wanted was a simple churro with a dollop of ice cream on top. When people say that there is often a 45 minute wait for your food, that means after you order. The churro was alright. Nothing to write home about.
Crunch! ThenSoft warm center
Apple filled churros are pretty good
These are too good. The price was worth it.
Its okay, nothing crazy, go if youre near by. Not worth driving far for.
Omg!! I absolutely love this place and I highly recommend going if you’re in the Austin area! If you’re looking for something different and if you loveeee churros or if you just have a sweet tooth I highly recommend this place. My fiancée surprised me one night and took me here and I absolutely fell in love with the place and the staff that works here has really good customer service!
Always hits the sweet spot. They have the best churros and the best combos. Friendly service and fairly quick!
Churros are good but not good enough for the price nor the wait. I’ve had better for less $$. Also, I waited 30mins to get my order. It wasn’t even busy. There were only two people in front of me and didn’t even have big orders. The guy making them was taking his time and the other guy charging wasn’t even helping. No one should wait 20-45 mins for a couple of churros.
Fantastic churros
Had to try once I smelled the sweet goodness. Fresh hot and yummy hands down new favorite my cheap day spot.
Churro fan!! Was really good.. will definitely be back!!!
Whoa. Go with the Date Night. Incredible.
First time in Austin and came across these bad boys! Great service and price is great. Thank you.
Just went there for the first time with my family and we loved it!!!
