Front door floor is stained/dirty but someone greeted us right away and knew of our reservation. Our server, Rebecca, was great. She was also the bartender and makes a helluva drink. Appetizers were delicious. Entrees did not have the same great taste of appetizers but still decent.Restaurant itself was warm but we were seated near kitchen..had a little bit of a smell as well.Overall, we’ll be back to try the things we didn’t get to this time.

Great meals and service! We went during Saturday Brunch without a reservation. We had outdoor seating but it was nice because it was covered. I loved the deviled eggs and the shrimp hush puppies are great if you like seafood! Also worth noting: The cake balls were amazing and there was a nice selection of drinks!

Copper Restaurant & Dessert Lounge in the Domain has been around for 9 years and I’m just now going. It is right next to California Pizza Kitchen and I really have never noticed. It was a great place to go for happy hour snacks and drinks (and I had to get some dinner too). I got a peach whiskey and margarita flight with some biscuits and Brussel sprouts. I finished off the evening with a bacon wrapped pork tenderloin. The sprouts and biscuits were so good!! And I was loving the tenderloin medallions. First time going but I’ll be back!!!

We had a party of 11 around 11:00 on the Saturday morning of ACL weekend. There wasn’t a wait when we got there, but there was when we left, so get there on the earlier side. Service was great! Here’s what I tried:- Truffled Breakfast Panini ($14.95): Super good. Wasn’t a fan of the sweet potatoes though. They were definitely boiled. Wish they had been more of a hash.- Crème Brûlée French Toast ($12.95): Amaaaaazing. So delicious. My husband got the Southwest Benedict ($14.95) and said that the panini I got was way better.Convenient if you’re staying in the Domain!

Favorite brunch spot ever! We have a friend who works here that urged us to go a while back and I’ve been obsessed ever since!I love that you can get a bottle of champagne and a variety of juices for $10 - the mimosas are a must when you come here.I usually always get the fried chicken and biscuits(+gravy) and it’s top tier, the meat is juicy and flavorful, skin crispy and just wonderful. Another go-to, is the truffled deviled eggs with a sauce that will make you want more than just the 2.5 eggs that the order comes with!My most recent visit, I finally branched out, got the shrimp & grits, and was blown away. The dish was a bit spicy and had a nice Cajun taste with jumbo shrimp and the Cake balls are incredible and you can’t really go wrong with any flavor that you pick.I may be biased but I really do think that the staff are rockstars because it is always completely booked when we go on Sundays and they handle it so well and it never decreases the quality of service.

Outstanding choice for my Birthday lunch. Not from the area we took a shot on this spot and - zero regrets. The street corn salad- fantastically fresh and delicious. I subbed the fried chicken in place of the grilled and it was amazing. Since we were celebrating- I had the chocolate martini- and enjoyed every last drop! Brussels sprouts for appetizer very good as well. Entire experience was great. My husbands shrimp and grits were super and the old fashioned cocktail also a thumbs up. I recommend- all of these items and a stop at the dessert counter if you have room.

I attempted to make a large party reservation for a business dinner last week and received no response. I attempted to call the restaurant 2 days prior to the reservation, the person who answered the phone was very professional and sweet. She took my name and email address, told me that she was going to text the General Manager and I would receive a response. No email came, today is when the reservation is supposed to happen. I called again to inquire if the reservation was made, I was told no and that they were fully booked and not able to accommodate my group. This is very poor customer service and unprofessional.

I would give zero stars if I could!!! Our family goes to get cake balls about once a month and always has a great experience. But today 8/21/21 was horrible service! A young blonde girl with her hair up “helped” us today. She was extremely rude and disrespectful. 1. She didn’t ask what we wanted she just stood there until we told her. 2. When we went to pay she didn’t give us our 1 free cake ball that comes with the refill tin, we had to ask/remind her and she rolled her eyes once we asked. 3. She told us the total, we handed her cash and she walked away to talk with other employees and lean on the table. Didn’t say thank you or bye or ask us if wanted receipt and no change was given back. Change was only .05c but seriously just walk away?We then tried to get several other employees attention and took a few minutes to get someone to pay attention. Finally got someone and he went to talk to her and she said “it’s only 5c” and what looked like a manager or person in charge quickly gave us 5 pennies and receipt. No apology or anything just walked away. We got another employees attention and we told him that she was rude and we weren’t happy and he just shrugged his shoulders and asked if we wanted a bag.4.copper has a sign that say if don’t get receipt we get a refund. After mentioning that we didn’t get a receipt or change the manager just hurried and printed one. Shouldn’t we have gotten a refund per sign next to cash register?HORRIBLE experience, makes us not even want to go back! You need to train your employees on customer service!

Before you go, please be advised: this place is overhyped. I only had brunch, so I can’t speak on dessert or their regular lunch/dinner menu.I went to this place with a reservation *on my birthday* for brunch because of how great all the reviews were and how amazing the menu looked. And never again. They had our table readily available for our reservation and that was 1 out of 2 total good things I would give this place. Hence, the 2 stars. We waited 20 minutes for our waitress to appear to take a drink order. We ordered plain tea. Apparently this place has to BREW you your tea and it took about another 20 minutes before we even got our drinks. Finally ordered when we got them. Ordered the trash fries, a street corn chicken salad, and the honey dipped fried chicken and biscuits.Instead of our trash fries coming out as an appetizer like it is labeled, it came with our food. But I will say, 10/10 trash fries were great (hence, star #2). I got them without the onions. The fried chicken and biscuits were bland. All of the flavor for the chicken was on the breading, and it just fell off the meat. I was having to scoop the breading after I ate unbreaded chicken. Also, not biscuitS, just biscuit. You get one. I don’t even know why they put the s for plural on the menu when it’s just a plain ole biscuit by itself covered in gravy. Gravy would have been good if the sausage had been cooked in it as well some, but gravy still had that flour taste and it overpowered what flavor they tried to add to it.I can’t say anything on the salad because I didn’t eat it, but I will say it was not finished.Presentation, beautiful. Looks good, tastes about a 2 in the grand scheme of things. Needless to say the lack of service was pretty unprofessional for such a hyped up place. But drinks are like $10 for a bottle of bubbly, so all I can imagine is everyone who DID leave amazing reviews, may have been a bit tipsy and it might have been the lovely alcohol adding all the flavor.

One of my absolute favorite brunch spots in Austin - and I’m a brunchanisto(?). I go to Copper at least twice a month for brunch mostly due to the location in the Domain with easy parking, $10 bottles of bubbly, and their creative cuisines. The price points are very reasonable and competitive for Austin. The servers are informative and attentive. I’d definitely recommend reserving ahead if you’re going because they do have limited seating and more times than none you’ll have to wait. Pro-Tip: Get the Gulf Shrimp Hushpuppies 🤤

Hands down the worst experience I have had a restaurant in several years, if ever. We walked in to put our names on the list for a wait and were asked if we had a reservation. We said no because their website wouldn’t let us create a res. They sat us at the bar, literally at the very end right next to the service area where servers were walking in and out every other second. So I asked the bartender closest to us if we could slide down to one of the other several open seats, instead of being crammed at the back of the bar where things were being washed and restocked constantly. She proceeded to roll her eyes at that simple request to sit a couple chairs over where it was a little more aesthetically pleasing and not so hectic. Once we moved over, we realized that that same bartender was going to be our server for the remainder of our stay. At one point, I asked for some simple syrup for my coffee because it was very strong and she blatantly rolled her eyes right in front of us and didn’t even try to pretend to be courteous. She was rude the entire time we were there, barely checked in on us and was very short when she spoke to us. We love this restaurant, and the food was very food, but the experience we received was so poor that we will not be returning to this place. There is no excuse for that server’s behavior, especially when there are plenty of people looking for jobs in the service industry who are more than happy to do there job with a genuine smile. It’s probably time for her to retire for good.

For my last dinner in town, I had to treat myself to Copper. I ended up just getting an appetizer, a shared plate, a flight and some cake balls to go. I started with the Fried Goat Cheese Balls, followed by the Crispy Mimosa Chicken Tenders and the Bubble Flight. The Goat Cheese Balls were tangy and crispy and so good. The Mimosa Tenders had a bit of a kick from the garlic chili honey and were amazing. I ended the meal with 6 cake balls, which lasted until my flight home. The winner was the lemon drop. Next time Im in Austin, I will be back.

This is my second time coming to Copper and I certainly wasnt disappointed! The service was great and so was the food. We got trash fries(without jalapenos or onions) and they were awesome, not mushy and just the right amount of queso. For dinner, I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and sausage jalapeno gravy. The chicken was moist and the breading was crispy. It wasnt soaked in oil and the dish was super heavy like I was going to be in a carb coma for the night. The mashed potatoes were delicious and so was the gravy. My boyfriend got the shepherds pie and it was full of amazing flavor. Only complaint was that it could use more meat in it. For dessert, we decided on the copper duo which is two desserts and two cake pops. We went with the cinnamon roll bread pudding, blueberry pie sundae, red velvet cake ball and Italian creme cake ball. Hands down the bread pudding was the best. It was one of the best desserts Ive had. The blueberry pie sundae was also great, it had a lot of great flavors to it and a ton of ice cream! The Italian creme cake ball had a great flavor with strong coconut flavors if you like that. The red velvet cake ball was very bland in our opinion and the white chocolate coating overpowered any taste of red velvet. Overall it was an excellent dinner and definitely recommend.

Food was good, no denying that at the waitress was helpful. However, they butchered our order, bringing us well done steak when we ordered rare, and had to redo it. No big deal, except when we were five minutes past their 1.5 hr time limit for brunch, they started clearing our table and telling us we needed to leave. We would have been out of there well within their limit, had they not messed up 2 out of 4 orders. Eventually the manager came by reminding us of the time limit and walked away when we tried to explain why we were still at the table. The waitress apologized and I dont blame her, but she shouldnt have to apologize for the management. I have no interest in eating here again if this is the kind of experience I can expect,

Went during happy hour and got half priced tomato bisque and pulled pork sliders. The bisque was savory and served with two grilled cheese sandwiches cut into strips with an extra melty blend of cheeses. The pulled pork sliders were served with a delicious coleslaw that balanced moisture and crisp vegetables. The sliders had shallots and a sauce that was not very memorable. A great meal, but the mystery sauce seemed to take away from the BBQ pulled pork. The interior was very inviting. Most of the tables seemed to set for 1-4 guests but there are a some spaces for groups of up to 6 Id say.The staff was very accommodating and attentive. I came here hoping for a new experience with the added value of a daily special.Their menu states (or stated when I went) that they had a daily special of All Day Happy Hour. Upon receiving my bill, the appetizer ribs were not marked down. I conveyed this to our server and was told that their menu had recently changed. Well, we were looking at the current menu available for download. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasnt one available. I wrote on my credit card slip that I didnt agree with the charge.I later called and spoke with the manager and was told that happy hour was only between certain hours, I then pointed out that their daily special was for an all day happy hour, and received rebuttal on that. I feel that its common knowledge that a daily special supersedes a stated happy hour-- its a special. She eventually relented and offered me a credit to the restaurant but, I did not enjoy the food and didnt want to go back, I wanted a refund. I was told that a refund couldnt be done. What I didnt like about the food: The loaded fries were cold, the ribs were not as moist as hoped, werent seasoned well, and the rib portion was only 2 bones worth of meat, the cole slaw didnt bring a desirable flavor, the cake pops werent good, and the bread pudding had an off-flavor.I dont make the critiques of the food to be knit-picky or retaliatory, the food just had a disappointment at every turn.$77 (with tip) for a meal (shared with a friend) that I didnt enjoy at all, I wont be back.

Sweet potatoes was a welcomed change from your regular potatoes and the pork was moist. The hollandaise sauce wasnt over powering. The bacon was awesome. Ultra crispy but not burnt and not very greasy at all. You get a 5 dollar discount on the cake balls if you eat lunch there so be sure to take advantage of that. Went for brunch on a Sunday as a family of four, we had about a five minute wait. The decor is very eclectic, modern and fitting; we were all impressed. The restaurant was clean for the most part, the bathrooms needed attention. We had the fried chicken and biscuits and the crème brûlée french toast. The kids ordered a la carte scrambled eggs with fruit and biscuits. Overall the food was good, but didnt have as much flavor as we hoped based on the menu descriptions, and my french toast was super soggy which was surprising since it was challah bread; it should have been more firm and made for messy eating. The service was pretty expedient and the overall experience was cool. We also ordered cake balls to go and we all agreed we did not like any of the flavors (and we ordered a good variety). I would visit again maybe on a date night just for cocktails because the ambiance is nice, but for what we paid to brunch as a family of 4 I would not dine in again.

So went to Copper’s for brunch my birthday weekend. I feel i need to give the background. They recommend making reservations because brunch gets busy- I second that recommendation! My issue was that i had to cancel my first reservation and make another. Original reservation was to be seated inside because we had little kids with us, my issue was that when i changed the reservation, i wasn’t told that the inside was no longer available (it was the end of January and very windy outside)- moral of that story is communication is key. When I got there i noted my issues with the manager, Rachel and she was very helpful to try and smooth the situation out as best as possible! Oh because the person a spoke to on the phone said their was a kids menu that included pancakes- not so! They do have a kids menu but the breakfast foods they have on the menu is all they have- FYI!Our original server, Rose, was not helpful or even a bit empathetic to the mistakes. Everyone at the table noticed her attitude. I understand that we all have off days but she was bring my whole birthday vibe down. So we spoke to Rachel and we got a new server, Kaylee. Kaylee was the best and I wish we had started with her! She and Rachel saved my experience. As for the food? The food was pretty great! Definitely get the French toast! That is an absolute must! This was a great little brunch spot! We went on a weekday so the brunch menu is a little smaller but you can always ask for things like scrambled eggs, which isn’t on the menu, and they’ll make it for you! Service wasn’t bad at all, there was only one person handling the floor at the time so I gotta give it to her for serving us in a timely manner while dealing with a full house. The food was great too! I had the shrimp & grits, I’m normally not a fan of grits but I wanted to try something new and I’m glad that I did! The chicken & biscuits was also good! We don’t eat pork so we asked to not put the sausage gravy on top, but it was still delicious! The $10 mimosas is a steal too, you get a whole bottle of champagne and 3 juices to mix with, that gave us about 6 glasses of mimosas! They did a pretty good job of keeping everything sanitary due to covid, but I do wish that they took our temperature before letting people inside the restaurant as many stores in the domain are doing, just would’ve helped me feel a bit safer. Aside from that, I will definitely be back for the weekend brunch and recommend to others.

Amazing food. Had the blackened redfish. Large portion and a bit spicy to make it interesting. The cake balls were yummie. The margarita was just ok.

Neat little place. Should definitely try their Jam Jar Margarita. Virgin version of this cocktail is also available. Their cake rolls are also awesome.

My fiance and I went here for post dinner date and got an assortment of cake balls. They were good! A little expensive but would still recommend to others!

As always a place that isn’t good has a ton of good reviews. Seriously I got all the recommended items and I was hardly impressed.(Buttermilk chicken and gravy). In fact, I could hardly finish it. I will say the drink prices especially the wine specials do make it not so bad. If you want to put up with the less than friendly staff. As always the choice is yours. I haven’t left a review in years! This place was bad enough to leave a review.

Exceptional brunch, everything is delicious and creative. The staff are exceptionally sweet and accommodating. Though if going on a weekend call first and ask about the wait because they get busy fast!

Great brunch spot. Cheap mimosas. Make a reservation. Only downside, you will reek of fried food from the poor ventilation when you leave.

Their Chesapeake Benedict is *chef’s kiss* The wait staff is friendly and extremely patient. I spilled juice trying to mix my mimosa and they were so understanding (I was beyond embarrassed). Great food and great service!

Ordered curbside and wanted to enjoy my meal as a picnic. When we arrived and unpacked the food there was ONE set of utensils for 3 dishes. And shrimp and grits in mini containers with no way to decant it into something bigger. When I called to express my concern and ask in the future they add more utensils or a bowl for pouring the shrimp and grits I was met with terrible customer service! To add insult to injury, Abby the bar manager was incapable of offering empathy or an apology which was all that was being sought after. She dismissed my concern, said they were busy and hung up the phone. Unbelievable. Will never give this place my business again.

First time dinning here and it was a wonderful experience. Had the HONEY DIPPED FRIED CHICKEN & BISCUITS and it was simply amazing. Their FAMOUS MIX-YOUR-OWN MIMOSAS is pretty good too.
