I gotta say, I have had a lot of gelato, and this is by far the best I’ve ever had. The cookies & cream was my favorite of the 3 I had- pistachio, chocolate & cookies & cream. Of course you have to get the delicious waffle cone. It almost tasted like ice cream. I brought 3 friends with me & everyone loved it!

Im so glad I had an opportunity to try this business! The employee serving us was very friendly, and graciously explained the differences between our frozen options while offering us samples.We chose the chocolate chip gelato and duo cup of lemon and raspberry sorbetto. The gelato was smooth with just the right amount of sweetness and good quantity of chocolate. However, the sorbetto was the star to me! The raspberry had a surprising sweetness and beautiful color, but the lemon had the fabulous kick I was hoping for.The cup size offerings may seem small at first, but we chose the mid-size and were crazy satisfied!We are so happy to have experienced this. We will be back!

It is sooooo good!! Their sorbets are like eating real fruit! Very high quality ingredients! I bought the smallest size the first time (I always get the smallest size when I am in an ice cream shop) but then I wanted to go back and get another one! So in my second visit, I got the cone which is pretty big, finished the whole thing and felt like I can still have some more haha I tried 7 different flavors so far (hazelnut, italian cream, pistacio, strawberry cheesecake, cookies and cream, strawberry sorbet, butter pecan) and they are all sooooo good!

Gelato was great. Ordered the kid-size (which, to be honest, is a great size especially after a heavy meal at Hopdaddy next door).I got the Hazelnut and Espresso. Hazelnut was flavorful and had a rich taste. Espresso was a bit lacking. Was hoping that it was a bit more robust and gritty like you find at other gelato places.Overall I was happy with my order and I’ll happily come back when I’m in the neighborhood.

Could this gelato be any more better? I love their ice cream. It’s so tasty and perfect. My all time favorites are salted caramel and butter pecan. They are undoubtedly the best. Despite of a lot of other gelato places near me, I drive a good amount from north to just stock up my favorites. Also, all their other flavors are soooo good.

Their hazelnut gelato is delicious! Its smooth and creamy without being cloying. I ate it so quickly that I didnt even get a chance to snap a picture.

Very friendly and kind staff, but the gelato is far from the real Italian gelato and more like an American ice-cream. Its consistency is thick and the taste is mild. The place is nice though and they have a good variety.

So delicious! Beautiful location, lots of flavors and super-friendly staff. Worth the trip on its own or a great stop if youre out enjoying Austin.

Selection is good and they have interesting flavors.Mango was great.Watermelon was lacking the watermelon punch that I was looking for.Lemon needed a little bit more zest to it but I still enjoyed it.I need to go back and try other flavors.

This was our 2nd stop on a quest for some yummy gelato. We gave this place a try after a bad experience at another gelato shop on 6th street.The employees at Gelato Paradiso greeted us when we walked in and were more than happy to explain things. I ended up with a pint of half Smores and half cookies n cream. My boyfriend did half dark chocolate and half coconut. Everything was delicious and fairly priced.Well definitely be returning here on future trips to Austin.

We were in Austin for 5 days and went here 3 times for gelato. There was a total of 8 in our group and everyone was very pleased with their selections. I highly recommend the raspberry, watermelon, cantaloupe and strawberry.This is as close, and in some ways comparable, to the gelato that you get in Italy. I am very much an elitist when it comes to gelato as basically every gelato place I have been to in the US has been a disappointment. However, this is very much the exception and I highly recommend this place. The flavors are great and the staff, we interacted with a total of 4 employees and one of the owners, were very accommodating and pleasant. Nothing but positives regarding our experiences.

FANTASTIC gelato. I had the dark chocolate hazelnut and pistachio. But they use thick plastic cups. Terrible for the environment!

Amazing gelato and wide variety of flavors/selection to choose from. Very unique flavors I might add.Price is expensive, but understandable to keep up with the rent in that area.Highly recommend it!

Butter pecan and horchata are must trys. Portion size is great. Make some room for this if youre thinking about trying it out. Very generous scoops.

Since TEO closed their doors, we were on the hunt for a new gelato shop. Boom! We found it. Great selection of flavors and plenty of parking in the garage. We sampled many flavors but our FAVs were espresso, pistachio, cookies and cream, chocolate mint, and strawberries and cream. Clean and friendly service with great patience for children’s decision making. We will be back!

I feel like I’m in Europe every time we go. Love how you can get 2-3 flavors in your cone or cup. I go for sorbet- mango, raspberry. My hubby gets pistachio and dulce de leche. There’s a flavor here for everyone!

Friendly staff and besides the chocolate gelato, the other flavors (raspberry, strawberry,...) that we tried were not good at all. They tasted like soap.

My husband and I took some of our friends from Dallas here last weekend.The Gelato was DELICIOUS and the customer service was even better. I got the Caffe flavor and was not disappointed. Also, the establishment was sparkling clean which was a major plus. We will definitely be going back soon!

Hands down the best gelato in Austin! Im picky about my desserts, from gelato to ice cream to pastries and this place never disappoints. The gelato is fresh and creamy as its supposed to be and the reason why gelato is far superior to ice cream (if youve had great gelato you wouldn’t disagree). I love the affogato with a scoop of hazelnut gelato, my kids love the cookies n cream, chocolate, coconut, vanilla.. honestly there hasn’t been a flavor they haven’t liked.

I love this gelato spot. They are friendly, welcoming and the place is charming and clean. I have tried like 5 different flavors: Mango, strawberry cheesecake, panna cotta and caramel. My favorite is Caramel, but they are all delicious! Highly recommend it :)

Hands down the best most authentic Italian gelato you can get in the states! Go here now-I promise you wont regret it! We tried this place in San Diego on vacation and went back every single night afterwards until we had to fly home. We are so excited to have this place in Austin! And the sorbetto is fantastic too :)

Very nice staff but gelato is definetely not for my tastes. Im Italian and I recognize an artisan gelato and its creamyness. I had few samples, nothing special and some of them had an artificial aftertaste. I had a strawberry sorbetto that was anyway pretty good.

Strawberry cheesecake was simply amazing. Best selection of gelato. Location was great to walk around SoCo shops and enjoy gelato.
