Why cant San Antonio have THIS bakery?!?! Every time we go to Austin we come home with lots of goodies from here. We love all the variety. Everything is individually wrapped and tastes fresh. Their drinks are good too...boba is the right consistency. We all get one for the drive back. Great service and clean store. Definitely worth a visit!

The best in town! However, the quality seems to change between slice and the whole cake. Sold by piece cakes are really not upto the mark.Coffee cake has too much coffee flavor that it is almost sour to taste.Really recommend the mango cake. Black Forest is okay too.

I visited 85c in LA and Taiwan. This place is equally impressive. The selection is good and very clean. The only bummer is many places have dine-in seating but they are still not opened for that. To me, the management just want to cut cost for not doing the cleaning. One star off for that. Tous Les Jours Bakery offer dine-in seating which not far away.

Love this bakery! So much to choose from, we went a little crazy and almost picked one of everything. We purchased their new rose drink as well and it was amazing! The taste, aroma, must buy.

Craving for snacks, coffee, tea or boba drinks? Then I suggest trying out 85 Bakery Cafe. I enjoyed the bread stuffed with hotdog. Currently the bakery only does take out. There is a wide selection of assorted items to choose from. For the best selection get there early. Prices are ok. My bread with hotdog was around $2.15.

The brioche bread is HEAVEN. No, no... its a CLOUD in your mouth. Billowy, dense yet light, soft. Delicious!! The cinnamon twist is crunchy, flaky, and gone in two seconds. Pick up some chocolate rolls for an inside out chocolate muffin-like texture. Did I mention its ridiculously affordable for the quality.

Very clean. Best bakery Ive been to in a long time. They get 10 stars from me. Their prices are amazing for the size and deliciousness and variety of baked goods. I got 2 huge muffins, a big slice of honey bread, and a big slice of dark chocolate strawberry mousse cake for under $10.00. LOVE IT!!!

Great baked goods and I highly recommend the zebra oolong milk tea with less ice and less/no sugar. The cakes are not so impressive and the service could be improved.

Everything Ive had here has been really good. Prices are decent. My favorite is the strawberry bun. Its really popular, so if they dont have the strawberry I get the taro or matcha bun instead.

Looking for a good Asian bakery? Grab your Egg Tarts and Honey bread and other specialties here. It felt very similar to the bakery styles all over Asia. You will love it. 5 stars but lose one star because the prices poke my eyes out. 🤑

Ever since being shown this chain in Katy Texas Ive found them to be a reliable stop for a decent coffee and pastry experience.Ive only been to this location once, but comparatively speaking it meets the norm for 85C locations. The decor is slick and modern, there are a large assortments of well prepared pastries, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the location has nice big windows making it nice and bright.I normally get the Iced Salted Caramel, which as always was made perfectly. I also got three pastries to try: Hawaiian chicken, coconut pastry, and a chocolate pastry.All three were decent, one nice thing about this place is the calories are listed on all the items. Definitely a good plus if youre keeping track as some of these items youd never find on an app.Overall great place for a stop along the way!

Wasn’t going to write a review but the more I thought about it the more I think the owner of this place needs the feedback. I came to order drinks for my kids. We were waiting in line for about 5-10 minutes when the guy in front of me ordered 5 drinks. Just as I was about to order the supervisor told us that we could no longer order drinks. I was already inside waiting but that didn’t matter to the supervisor. It was more important that they close the place on time. They couldn’t spare the extra 5-10 minutes to make two drinks for my kids and preferred to lose my business. No apologies whatsoever. The owner needs to teach their employees what service means.

Amazing bakery! The milk boba tea is awesome and since I have celiacs and gluten free I love that they have options for me and the staff is super helpful! I tried the snow cubes and pudding which are both gluten free.

Selection is the key ingredient here at 85C Bakery. The menu is vast and the options are unique. While I prefer just a simple cup of black coffee, the closest thing to that here is still a present experience. While the items here are rather expensive, you are getting genuine quality along with something that you couldnt get elsewhere in town. I would suggest this place if you are really trying to be impressive on a first date.

I ordered a mothers day cake surprise for my mom. They misspelled my name on the cake which was very disappointing. They also missed day, instead of writing Happy mothers day, they only put Happy mother???!!!It was an unsatisfied experience.

First timer. And I must say very good! The egg tart delicious. Light and fluffy. The Milk Oolong tea is light sweetened and perfect for a pick me up. Love that the baked goods are so light and airy. Cheese dog is yum too. Pricing is very good. Service was great. Only thing that sucked is the dining area is still closed so have to take out. Minus 1 star. ⭐️

One of my favorite place for Asian bakery and cakes. Some of my favorite are buttermilk loaf, pork sung, chicken Hawaiian, mangotale, and mushroom one. Their cakes are fluffy soft and not too sweet which satisfies my taste :) I havent tried their milktea just yet, but their coffee is fantastic. If you like strong coffee like Vietnamese style, you must try it here. Btw, the coffee may be too strong for some people but they do have other drinks with milk or tea. Due to COVID, the store currently offers to-go/take away orders only, no dine-in.

I visit this bakery almost once every three weeks! I love the fresh baked goods they have. Upon entering, their trays are easy to find on your right side. You immediately smell a sweet aroma as you move closer to the bread. Whether you go in the morning or evening they will always have an extra batch of goods. Their cakes are delicious and moist. Also, you have an opportunity to buy a slice of cake if preferred. Their drinks are flavorful and I believe worth the price! Their cashiers are very helpful when describing their drink menu. Overall, this bakery is a must-try!

Flavors are good. Service is nice. The milk bread is amazing! The cheese tarts are also a household favorite. Even though this one is farther we go here because the other one has bad customer service.

This place was poppin on a Sunday afternoon!! Delicious baked goods you might not find on other bakeries. I got a mango bread which was different yet super refreshing and not heavy like some pastries. My husband said the chocolate croissant was one of the best he has had yet! Reccomend trying as much as you can!

Love the desserts. This place gets really packed.The only negative thing I have to say would be the service at the register. There needs to be more smiling, welcoming people. I was also upset that I downloaded the app to get rewards since I purchased several items and there are signs everywhere that say to download the app. Once I got to the register I was told they could not find me, even after scanning my QR code and barcode. I had already got a confirmation text with my code. The girls at the register told me they could not do anything about it.Then I went back to order a drink and they told me they figured out how to pull up my account but still couldn’t do anything about adding my rewards because the transaction already took place. Why bother telling me that if you can’t do anything about it?But the pastries, desserts and drinks are delicious. Sure cute place.

They have a great ton of things to try. But my two choices the milk toast and the cinnamon Twists was phenomenal. Yum. Not overly sweet.

As soon as I entered the store, it reminded me of the stores in Japan. You get your tray and then you get whatever product you want. The selections and the taste are legit! I love that they sell cakes as well. You can even buy them in slices. Weve been looking for a good black forest cake. Now we just found a place that serves the GOOD one. Im looking forward for my next visit.

I’m so happy that this place has finally opened in Austin. This along with 99 Ranch (which is next door) is one of the places I really missed when I moved from LA.The bread, Asian pastries, and my favorites the cheese dog (kolaches) and ham and cheese are just as good as back in LA. Even at soft opening, you will not be disappointed here so definitely check it out!

Okay, are the toppings supposed to be secured some how? I was extra careful since it is a 36 dollar cake. O well, on the way to HEB to buy another cake. 85c is trendy and have different treats to eat, but when it comes to a birthday I will buy a cake from a more reliable place. I did call the place. Leaving 1 star reviews are not my style. I will just say, I had better conversations with lower cost establishments.

After saving this place on our bucket list for a long time, my fiancée and I finally found time to swing by today and I am so glad we did. The pastries here are gorgeous and absolutely delicious. They’re crafted skillfully and taste perfect! It was hard not to grab everything in sight.Growing up as an egg tart lover, I was thrilled when I saw they carried them here. (I’ve been searching far and wide for somewhere I could nab some.) Although they’re slightly different than the kind I’m accustomed to eating, they were delicious nonetheless.I was also very pleased to see they carried sea salt milk cap here, which is another longstanding favourite of mine that’s been hard to find. If you’re going to grab a drink, I cannot recommend it enough. It’s a tasty, frothy addition to any drink!My fiancée ordered the tiger boba latte, and I’d have to say that was also very delicious. Definitely a must-try.Needless to say, I’m in love. We will definitely be back very often to stock up on goodies.I’d say the only disappointing thing was that they did not have bolo bao. Not that I had expected them to, but it would’ve been a pleasant addition. Back to the search!

This bakery is great! The self-serve setup makes getting in and out a breeze...unless of course you or the person ahead of you has a unique amalytical-about-every-item food selection style. I recommend checking out the PDF menu prior to coming if youre a first time visitor. This will help ease the hold up for those behind you.Lunchtime can be a bit packed but the the team members pack your items fairly quickly at the register, pushing the lines along. Drinks take the longest to receive due to limited machinery and employees at the machine.A big plus for those whove gone remote: theres Wi-Fi and a very decent amount of seating compared to the competition (Korean bakery) down the road. Most who enter are pickup and carry out so although there may be semi-constant to constant traffic most is fluid.The interior is sleek, clean, and very new day Austin. Team members are friendly and helpful but busy so if you need to know where am item is or what it looks like check online or search all the labels on each container.Enjoy

Definitely one of my favorite Asian bakeries in town other than Tous les jours. Great pastry and cake selection and good service. Love that they have all the contactless payment methods like Google and Apple pay. But remember that most of the time this place will be crowded and you might have to wait in line to get the cakes and pastries. Seating is super limited, so carry out will be a good bet. Sometimes they will be out of plates so I have seen people get pasties out on the butter paper without even using tongs -- gross. Apart from all that they are amazing, restrooms are cleans and their bubble tea and coffee collection is really good too. Try the matcha Cake, the bacon and cheese and the espresso bun - they are my favorites. Love their packaging and the store design.

This was such a fun place. The costumer service was nice. The lady was nice but may have taken a bit to comprehend me due to my accent but thats fine, she was still kind and patient. Overall, would go again and I recommend anyone who wants to go to go. Dont be afraid. The food was also very good.

If you are in the need for some tasty pastries this is a good stop.There is parking but the car park layout is not the best design.The cakes and pasteries are individually priced and there is a wide range to select from.Havent tried the cakes yet but they certainly look good.

We brought Coconut pastry and Tiramisu. Coconut pastry didnt had enough coconut as well as the taste just below Average. We have had some of the best Tiramisu so we have good data points to compare. Based on that we can say Tiramisu was awful here and also importantly you should use coffee powder in Tiramisu not some pseudo coffee/chocolate power. Please improve the quality and the taste for the prices charged.

Excellent pastries and coffee treats. Unfortunately with pandemic there is no interior seating and 85C currently has no outdoor option. You can still get your fill of delicious breads though.

I love the Sea Salt Coffee and Taro Latte here! The variety of pastries and cakes is great. The taro marble and green tea pastries are my favorite. The cakes are very cute and perfect for presents too.

What more can you say but great. From the basic milk bread to the fancier pastries and drinks, I continue to be impressed with the quality and service when I visit this location. My only real complaint is they need a location in S Austin already!

What a treat it was.I got the:- Coconut Twist- Chocolate Cookie Bread- Potato Croquette- Chcocolate Chip Bowl- Salted Butter BreadWhats there to say? Fresh and fluffy delicious pastries at a good price ($1.30-$2 a piece!!). My favorite had to be the chocolate cookie bread FOR SURE. Also bonus points for having the calorie information online, as I track mine! They would have 5 stars from me if they cleaned the bathrooms and the floors a bit more often. Their pastries and drinks are great but their customer service is definitely lacking. Their staff doesnt even smile when you talk to them, they all seem angry when they should be ecstatic the place is always packed with patrons. Having said that, prices are reasonable and I love their taro latte and all pastries, especially the berry tart and taro danish!

I went today for the fist time. Super cute bakery with a large selections of breads & pastries. I got the jalapeno cheddar with cream cheese bread and a hazelnut latte, both were delicious. I was surprised that the only dairy free milk they have is soy.

My daughters live in Austin and they took me here and I was not disappointed. This was ultimately the best pastries, sweet and savory, breakfast and lunch. They were fresh, soft and very tasty. The Thai tea is my favorite and my picky son loved the Taro smoothie.

A wide range of pastries provided with good quality. Sometimes the line is too long. Although I liked their cakes and cookies, I personally didnt like the taste of their coffee
