Went to pick up my sons medication that was crucial and it wasnt ready due to a mix up. Not the pharmacists fault but Cisco and another guy whos name I didnt catch went out of their way to help me quickly get my sons medication. I am beyond thankful for the two. They were absolutely busy and saw nothing but kindness and respect come from them. Very calm and helpful. Makes the wait all worthwhile 👏

Went for appointment for COVID Booster. Was seen on time. As a bonus HEB gave a bottle of hand sanitizer.

Probably the worst store in the city, but thats not HEBs fault. Its in a high drug area and Im sure they do the best they can to keep the store operating as best they can.

I have tried just about all HEBs and have not been disappointed yet. I agree that staff is friendly and management helpful. Of course I have my favourites.1st. On the way tomy ride, the bottom of the bag fell apart and the chicken and sides plummeted to parking lot.Up behind me came a young man, scrapped the chicken up and asked me to follow him. We returned to the chicken cookery, he explained what happened and the chicken cook, had me escort her and we ended up in customer service where I was given the option of anew chicken and sides or a refund, which was cheerfully given with a heartfelt apology10 out it 10.

Its a good store, clean with friendly, helpful employees.

It has most of the groceries I need and great staff! However, the design seems to ignore the fact that people enter and exit the store on foot.

Fantastic! Laura(the girl bringing out my curbside) made awesome conversation and made picking up groceries a great experience.

I know this particular shop is always full, but I dont understand how a guy with well over 30 items is in the 10 or less.., self scan, and the girl defends him (she already told him (it)) while there are long lines and I had 1 item and waited 5 minutes. Maybe he should have had to scan 10.., pay.., scan 10.., pay..., Or better yet..., have them people scan 5 and pay. Make them regret cheating U.S. real Americans who protect our brothers and sisters. Now I wish Ida taken a photo. Its a tall white dude with tats. Youll see him cheating U.S. again. May have history in Washington on 1-6-21? Maybe? I love my HEB.

Its convenient not always the best service.

The store is always clean and well stocked. The clerks are quick, polite and helpful. If you need change for the bus they are happy to assist, I know becuz I use public transportation and need change every now and then. The parking lot traffic is a bit dodgy but with patience you can get into and out of the store safely.

Love HEB and all that it offers us daily from the best prices to the awesome employees that always have a smile for your shopping experience! This store is always clean and stocked up I cant ever find anything wrong to complain about! I hope everyone can enjoy this beautiful store as much as my family!

North lamar store . Nobody watched whats really happening in the store .People drink out of juices then put it back open packages and dont buy them open jars and put it back on the shelf . this store is a hazard disease spreader!

It was the first time I have been in an HEB Grocery Store. I had a very nice visit and even purchased several things.

Its kind of sad, but with the changing of the neighborhood, this HEB made improvements. I literally shopped at an HEB in a nice neighborhood because it was a more pleasant shopping experience.

We went to get a rotisserie chicken and when got home we noticed that the chicken had been eaten on also while shopping i notice that they had molded Naan on the shelf 🙃, I did let someone discretly though it was just really disappointing to get home and see that so much of that chicken was gone and eaten.

Not in the nicest part of town, however they have a good selection and great prices. Its easy for me to find what Im looking for, and they usually have it in stock. I just wish they had more baby stuff in the baby aisle.

Hood HEB that seems not to respect their customers and refuses to hire adequate staff to service needs of community. Your going to wait in long line no matter when you go. Dissapointing on HEBs part.

Hector from the bakery department was AMAZING!!! I went today to ordered 10 cakes for marketing for my office, and he was SO HELPFUL. He was giving me ideas about how the cakes will look better, and make my visit so easy and quick. He is been there for 15 years. I wish they are more people like Hector. Thank you Hector, and dont forget to smile! :)

The pharmacy and business center lines are always very long. There’s rarely enough checkers, resulting in long lines. The parking lot is a terrible mess! Great product selection and good customer service, though.

We were needing a flower arrangement for a funeral and they had a nice arrangement but there was several homeless people in the along with others loitering around their vehicles.

Here at 11:30 lines are ridiculous. Members walking around face timing with their friends with lines 6 to 7 carts deep. 11:57. Still in line.

H-E-B is definitely new to me. Ive never actually explored the place until I moved into Austin. The people there are very kind and they are always stocked up with what I need or what I decide to get on the spot when Im there. Also they do money orders with your card! Ive never heard of a place that does that. Its always by cash. So thats a plus for me.

Awesome being this time of the month in a grocery store. Was still pretty fast lines knowledgeable an understood job procedures. In Business center an register lines. Was pleased.

This particular HEB is always dark, crowded with very few cashiers. The self serve lines are crowded too. I only go here if I have no other choice at the time and as early as possible. I have most HEBs in Austin have this issue.

Christina in the floral department is amazing..very professional and sweet.truly cares for her customers.

This place honestly spoils me. Now I cant stand going to a different grocery store. Like many have said, it gets busy and its better to come early in the day. But it gets busy for good reason. The produce is always fresh with a selection of fruits and vegetables from many different cultures. They have great deals on meat, too.

Crowded but would get thru faster if they would STOP moving everything around. One major overhaul was fine, but it continues with placement of bits and pieces. REALLY they were handing out maps and now out of date. Enough already.

The best thing I love about this H-E-B is how the employees are at the registers guiding the customers to the next available open register. They have awesome service there. Very clean store and very open-minded employees, I could be a pain sometime but they always keep a smile on your face!

My first & last time EVER using their curbside! They forgot a pack of meat, Ive left messages & made phone calls that have both fallen on deaf ears! Its one of the coldest weeks ever & I really need my meat! Ive had items forgotten at the other stores before, not often, but my calls were returned and was able to pick up my item without any issues. Customer service is everything, I just want what I PAID for!!! Smh!

Clean n organized quick find with laundry soap

I dont shop here regularly, but may have to change my habits. The store inside was clean and well-stocked. The parking lot is always crowded so Ive begun to take a bus. You can find HEB shopping carts scattered in all directions for up to a mile. (A reflection on the clientele, not store management) When Im walking, if I find one of these orphaned carts, I return it to the store.

Good selection and prices. Friendly people and fast checkout. Clean and organized.

Over crowded, parking is dismal I guess the area needs another store. This one has too much stuff in it and too many people as well. I am trying to find another store. The one to the north near Pflugerville was not nice and too far away. Guess Ill try going south. Im claustrophobic so a crowded store is a no go. San Antonio stores are more open although some of them are also overstocked.

Too many kids running around unsupervised feels like youre in romper room staff to stand around and talk to each other come up with a full basket they dont even have a bager sometimes you almost have to bag your groceries yourself bad store

The survey sent to my email timed out, so I just wanted to give a brief shout out to DK and the Curbside Delivery dept on here. DK was all smiles from the moment I pulled up. He even let me know the expiration date on the milk (as he was loading my groceries) they had picked out on my behalf to make sure I was good with the timeframe. And a few days later when I came in because I needed to make an exchange, he was prompt and courteous and did not make me feel like an inconvenience. He found the correct product on the shelf and swapped it out/refunded me quickly and efficiently. Thank you, DK, and your entire team, for making grocery shopping safer and easier during these difficult times.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The store itself is always incredibly busy and parking is hard to come by. Other customers can be rude there as well.

Every time I go to this HEB alone, I get harassed. It is the only place I have ever grocery shopped where I feel unsafe. (even with the occasional cop at the door) People follow me around the store and then to my car. This has happened 3 times. If I go with my boyfriend no one bothers me. This is a problem.

Classic hEB with a pharmacy. It is also catered toward the hispanic community because its surrounded by many hispanic shops and also rundberg is nearby. Parking is kinda small and limited but never had a problem finding a spot usually. Lots of selection still

It was okay. I get the items i need and head over to self scanning and im usually out ina about 15 to 20 minutes.

I like the store. Its in the neighborhood, so its convenient, but its always packed full, mostly of Mexicans. It has a distinctly Mexican flavor, which caters to most of their clientele, and stocks almost everything you could expect in a normal grocery store. Almost everything you could find in lets say, Walmart, you can find right here in our local HEB.

Awkward store layout, leading to traffic jams in the aisles and parking lot as well. Always a little chaotic, but theres no better place for Mexican staple vegetables.

Never a quick trip. The lines are always long because there is never enough registers open. Self check is also always backed up. HEB is clearly making money but not hiring more cashiers

I was really impressed with how they cater to the community with its selections. There were many oaxaca cheeses available that I have not seen at other HEBs. That being said, they didn’t have any vegan cheeses, when I asked a friendly team member she joked not a single item in the building was vegan not even the people. I was a bit disheartened to learn there aren’t many options for people who have different dietary restrictions. On a different note, there didn’t seem to be any capacity restrictions the times that I’ve been. This is concerning during the pandemic as there was no social distancing or attempts for order.

This is a pretty decent H‑E‑B but if you don’t want to wait in long lines, come early. Cause throughout the day it’s nothing but long lines. Staff here is pretty decent and are very nice. But the checkout lines are pretty long. That’s about it

Not every H‑E‑B is created equally. This one is not very well stocked and it’s constantly busy. If you’re on a tight schedule don’t come here.

Check to see if they have what you are looking for first because they have a different and limited selection on most items. And /or out of the product.

Id avoid this heb while were still in the pandemic. Ive been here two times since 2020 and have been surprised at how awful the staff is at taking care of simple cleaning procedures and maintaining distances (with respects to the floor markers), asking customers to keep their masks on.I went in, yesterday 12/23 at around 10:30am (towards the entrance next to taco bell) and was SOOO hesitant to grab a cart because they didnt look like they were cleaned nor was the woman who was supposed to be cleaning them even doing her job! I saw her in the corner of the room on her phone with the cleaning tools next to her. Both times I went in, I noticed the employees on their phone and not cleaning the carts.The employee hadnt moved when I had left.Every other heb or grocery store has employees cleaning the carts regardless of the time of day. This is soooo unacceptable. Every one has a job during these hard times, if you prefer to be on your phone instead of trying to keep your community safe then dont be there!I went last week, and while it was extremely busy with very few cashiers, an employee who was directing the line, lined up the carts back to back (completely ignoring the marks on the floor) to allow customers to walk in the aisles. Other grocery stores around the city are much safer than this heb. I dont think Ill be returning here.. It doesnt feel safe and the employees are clearly not taking the covid cleaning procedures seriously, which sucks because I truly like this heb.
