A lot of options but also ability to make your own combination. Syrups are clearly made fresh and not overly sweet. The regular size is huge and reasonably priced. Loved the shaved ice and staff was incredibly friendly, albeit a bit long of a wait. Worth every bit and would go again without a doubt.

Beat the heat at this charming shave ice stand at the entrance to Lost Creek. Woodys is owned and managed by Westlake High School graduates and is also employing local high school students. The eclectic menu has several options (dye-free, no artificial flavors, no high fructose corn syrup!) that are refreshing (Prickly Pear Margarita) to the tropical (Pog Man) to the decadent (I Love Coco or Chameleon Joe). For a limited time, they are also serving a Texas Peach that will beat any peach off the side of the road in Stonewall, Texas! My wife likes hers with the Sweet Cream; I like mine plain. Everything here tastes like someone freshly squeezed fruit right onto a bowl of the softest ice imaginable (because, well, thats what it is!). You never leave with that sweet, sick feeling in your stomach from the artificial sugar bombs you get at other sno-cone stands.The shave ices come in two sizes -- kids ($5) and adult ($7). They are served in recyclable paper bowls, and the serving sizes are huge! They use wooden spoons. Straws are unnecessary. There are 4-5 nicely shaded, freshly-painted picnic tables that are spaced out nicely for families to spread out and enjoy their shave ice while listening to music. My family has been three times already, and Devin always comes around after weve made some progress on our shave ice to ask us how it tastes, how were doing, and if theres anything they could do to improve our experience.Glad to see this addition to the Westlake community. We used to drive to South Austin to buy sno-cones, but no longer! Im looking forward to trying the entire menu and also anticipating what future special they may have. A great way to cool off this summer and get out a bit with the family while supporting a local business.

I waited to review this until I had tried all of the flavors... and its amazing! I live part time in Hawaii and get shave ice almost every day there. When I heard that Woodys was opening I was excited, but didnt think that it would be as good as the best places in Hawaii. I was wrong! Most flavors here are better than the best places in Hawaii, and the overall presentation and quality also seem better.The owners and staff are all really friendly and care about making a great product. I asked a few questions about their ingredients and was surprised to hear that everything was organic, even though they dont advertise it. I can also tell that the ratio of fruit to other ingredients is higher than anything Ive ever tasted.Overall Im blown away that such an amazing place exists outside of Hawaii and I cant wait to go back and eat more of my favorites (Key Lime Pie, Coconut, Starburst, and Happy Happy Joy Joy). By the way, they have a lot of addons that are hard to see on the menu. I havent tried them all, but the mochi is really good.

OK. Low key this is the best shaved ice I’ve had. These people care. The flavor combinations are next level. We had three different ones (including a new Watermelon flavor they have been working on) and WOW...from the size (very generous) to the little details (e.g. pie crumbles on top) it was perfect. Really hope their business takes off because they are doing it right. As soon as I got home I pulled out my phone to write this review, which I don’t normally do! Go try Woody’s and spread the good word.

Snow cones were heavenly, and service was good. However, for $7 per snowcone, this will have to wait for a special treat only.

I think we came at a bad time but we waited 30 mins with no warning for 2 shaved ice. The shaved ice itself was just ok.

Loved what we ordered! We left a funeral & decided to try this place out (recommend on Instagram) but as soon as we approached...we felt uncomfortable. Ppl stared, workers didnt greet us, say hi, just opened the window and let us order. My teen kids were uncomfortable and decided to not order which was very surprising. I didnt like that my family felt so unwelcomed.
