I have so many great things to say about Dolce Bacio: from their adorable pink food truck in East Austin to the beautiful bike they brought over from Italy!As for the owners, they are genuine, sweet, funny, kind and always let me sample everything before deciding on my same ole choice COCONUT! ...or lately the coconut with cookies!Let’s talk Gelato. Wow! There is no exaggeration when I say how their gelato is better than any ice cream I’ve ever had! Every flavor I’ve ever tasted... just tastes real. Not like there’s a ton of sugar or artificial flavoring making it taste like a certain flavor. For example: strawberry, watermelon, cantaloupe, peach, pear, pineapple, mango and lime and mint ALL taste just like the fruit and that’s it. A refreshing, frozen version of love and amazingness!Just a thought: if you work for a company that allows for employee appreciation or holiday celebrations, now is a time to call up Francesca and Dante to bring their bike to your job and scoop out a yummy treat to all. I did this at the airport for our employees and it was a huge hit. Everyone loved it! And with the gluten free and vegan options, there’ll be a choice for anyone with diet restrictions.Do yourself a favor and visit Dolce Bacio at the East Austin Food Park. Have lunch at one of the other trucks and treat yourself to some delicious Italian Gelato! You’ll thank me later :)
