They are very inconsistent with their pricing, often gouging severly. Ive walked in at closing time Friday and had to pay over $60 for 80cf argon, regular price is 50ish for 250cf. Maybe they are treating me as if I had a rented tank??? Also, counterperson is insistent that I buy a MIG welding setup from them. Seriously, drop a lot of money when Im skilled at TIG weldiing and learn to MIG on 18 gauge steel tube? If you need to buy gas there, I would let them know you are comparing prices with other locally owned sources. Get the salespersons name that quoted you the price and bite back when they try to kick you around.
