Brought in 2 strats to get set up. One had a significant chip on a fret, and I asked if he could do anything with it. He was able to replace the fret so seamlessly that neither of us could tell which one had been replaced when looking over the work. On top of that, he found an electrical problem with the other that he fixed free of charge. Very nice dude, great work. Will definitely work with him again.

Best guitar builder/ tech in town!

My tusq nut that was fine got replaced by a generic one that after two weeks started freeting. The two new prs pots I provided for replacement are not the ones installed in the guitar. Solder work for a new freeway 6 way switch is not quality work to be honest, and quality of customer service is not the best. Just presenting the data, use it to make an informed choice.

Absolutely the best guitar repair shop around!Jason knows his stuff and does superb work! Another thing to note is that he can set up guitars with Floyd Rose tremolos which I use a lot. I ran into a ton of shops that didnt know how to set them up, or just looked down on them... You wont they that here!

Jason is all about the customer and gives his time to make sure all the customers needs are met. You dont get that kind of attention from the big guitar shops unless youre spending big money. ATX guitarworks does a great service to the Austin community to all who want to rip some sweet riffs!
