Cheyenne made our upgrading easy and painless. She even made sure all of our data from our old phones transferred to the new ones! The store was very clean and the other associate was very polite and helpful as well. I would highly recommend this location over Boardman or Niles Verizon stores. Today I had a wonderful experience with Dan and Alex. They were very helpful! My husband and I had lots of questions with our purchase and they were both extremely helpful, unfortunately since then I have had multiple issues. I have spent multiple lunch hours on the phone with different people and no closer to a resolution.

I went to Verizon store in Austintown Oh. Chey was the customer service person. She was outstanding!! She knew what she was doing. She stepped me threw everything for the LTE internet service. She was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure I knew what to do.....she even called to tell me my device was in! Verizon is lucky to have her!! Outstanding Chey!!

Honestly, it is super hard to find anything to criticize or find fault in with my experience here. After my grandmas phone stopped working, I had to get her a new one. Zach, who was so friendly and helpful, spent the time not only helping us to find a phone that would be excellent for her, but also went above and beyond to transfer everything he could from one phone to the other (even though Im sure it was way past the end of his shift). He was never patronizing or hard to follow as he explained various features and was super patient as he helped us. The whole staff, in fact, was so friendly and kind. When selecting a new model of phone, he/Zach completely listened to our needs and wasnt trying to fill a quota or trying to earn a commission. He found a phone, that despite it being the newest iPhone, was easy to use for my elderly grandma. She LOVES her new phone and now doesnt know how she ever got along without it. Thank you all down at Verizon/TCC! You made an old lady and her granddaughter so happy! 💙

We switched to Verizon and we went here when doing so. The service was friendly and helpful for everything I needed each time I went in as we were in the process of switching services, getting out new phones, and completing our trade-ins. Teresa was our main representative that assisted us with everything and she was amazing, but other staff members there were pleasant and friendly as well while we were there! Very pleased.

The absolute WORST customer service ever. 10 days, numerous trips to the store, many many calls to tech support, customer service, supervisors, driving across town to get a second opinion on my phone...all for a phone that DID NOT WORK, however they would not replace. Finally, they agreed to have me pay a restocking fee just to get a phone that worked. I was treated rudely and they are dishonest. I will never go back. I strongly suggest before going into a Verizon store you ask if they are a corporate store. If they are not, do NOT shop there.
Love this store. They give you a customers matter vibe like no other. I’ve had nothing but issues with my account from other surrounding locations and I can finally say this particular store was a saving grace.The manager was super helpful and efficient with my concerns and we were able to get my bill to a reasonable rate. I am updating this review from my previous 1 star review. Because after I posted a very bad review, I was contacted by Dan, the manager. And my case was escalated. My account was credited the promised amount. And as of today, I can say that I have received everything that I was promised on my first visit to this store. So I promised to update this review to reflect that. Dan definitely was professional the entire time throughout this, and so Ill give him the benefit that in complicated deals like this, with many moving parts, things get mixed up. My deal involved Verizon offers, Google offers and offers from the store in Austintown. So things got confused, and now theyre straightened out. But I would advise everyone to save their paperwork and read the fine print because if I hadnt done both I wouldnt have gotten $1900 in offers from the 3 places. But now I have. And I will say this, after years with AT&T, that the Verizon coverage and signal is better. There were several dead spots for AT&T that always dropped calls and Verizon does not. So I am now happy with my new phone, my new service and I now have unlimited data for the same price as my 15GB plan with AT&T.

I upgraded my phone from the iPhone XS Max to the iPhone 11 Pro in November, 2019. I got an email today, January 11, 2019, stating that my bill was updated. With a one time charge of $555 dollars. I called Verizon customer service and they said the charge was to pay off my old device. Why am I paying off a device I returned for an upgrade? The Verizon customer service call center representative I was working with called this store and they stated that they have NO RECIPT/DOCUMENTATION that my phone was returned to them. Therefore there is nothing they can do about it?! The representative I was working with stated back to them that he sees the return on his end and he can attest to the fact that I returned my phone because his system is showing the return of my old device. This store denied a return ever being made. Clearly there is an underlying issue with their staff. Do not go here/trust them with your services.

Not knowledgeable about Verizon spam and call filtering. They want to sell you a plan to block robocalls when in reality Verizon has one for free. According to Verizon everybody will be automatically enrolled eventually. Must go through several steps to pay a bill. They will not accept a payment unless you have a drivers license. To pay a bill?? Ridiculousness! TCC customer service told me if I did not like that store Im more than welcome to not go there. Very rude person I spoke to on the phone! The customer service rep on the phone also did not know about Verizon spam filtering and call blocking. I recommend you stay away from TCC stores.
Dan helped my dad upgrade this week and while I was not yet upgrade eligible he took the time to look into our account and go over and address all of our needs and got me into a new phone with a buy out.He was very professional. Took his time, but didn’t waste any of our time. It was all well spent. It’s a great store, with a great work ethic. Very customer care oriented.Thank you Austintown Verizon. My family will do all business there from now on. And I’m spreading the word about our experience!

This place was not a friendly place to go, not to mention them trying to walk off with my phone pay-off money. Not sure y Verizon lets this company operate with their name, but kinda makes me not trust Verizon. I recommend going to an actual verizon store unless you want a headache.

I went into this store(Austintown) yesterday (6/10/2020) to ask about prepay sim kit or activating for post pay two brand new Samsung phones I bought directly thru Verizon. This was about 4p. Est. A very impolite male said we dont have any go to another store. I asked if he could check to make sure another had the sim kit since it was a long drive. He said they got a lot without checking. As Im talking to him he walks off. I start to talk to a very polite female we was giving me details about different way post and prepay work. As she is talking to me this Male talks over her and tells another person who just walked in that she can help her. Even tho he was doing nothing and she was helping me. I spent almost 2k on two phones. This is how you treat your customers? I will be calling regional management for Verizon to report how I was treated. I was very kind when treated with disrespect like this. I just let after being pushed off. A gentleman named Clint from the canfield store help me find a card. At the boardmen store I was inform that they dont sell sim kites for prepay, and didnt understand why the Male from Austintown couldnt have helped me, and said Boardman had them. After talking with Cindy from Boardman store she helped me with the cards. I want to thanks Clint(canfield), and Cindy(boardman) for their professionalism, and politeness they showed. After reading thru the Austintown,oh store reviews I see that I am not the first person to be treated in this manner. Fix the problem or you will see bad reviews from upset customers as myself.

I was welcomed inside by Teresa R as soon as i got here, which is number 1 for me. I switched and transferred my plan from att with verizon at the austintown location. It was my first plan/contract so she helped me with all my questions about the transfer making it very easy for me to understand and switch. Very nice experience!! Highly recommended verizon retailer
I generally do not write reviews, but I must make an exception in this case. A few months back, I had a lot of questions about new phones, the new Note in general. I ended up adding 3 new Samsung phones and accessories to my account. Today I added 2 IPhone XRs with accessories. I cant express enough how great the staff are. They leave no questions unanswered. They are friendly, efficient, informative, attentive, and just awesome. I have been a Verizon customer for a decade now, and this store and the staff there are a large reason why I have stayed so long. I have never walked out of this location feeling like I my needs were not met. Thank you for the great customer service.

I went in asking about the Samsung 9 and there was no attempt to help me even though one rep was free while the other helped another customer. When I did receive help the rep acted like I was inconveniencing him. Do yourself a favor - Dont shop there!!! Drive a little further down the road to ANY OTHER VERIZON STORE, where they will appreciate your patronage.

So after traveling for several months out of the country we stop in at this Verizon store to get a new phone service started back up for me and my wifes phone. The sales man that was working at the time immediately said that my phone was too old to be put back on the the network and I needed to buy a new one. He also went on to explain that my wifes phone had been locked because we took it off of Verizons network while we were traveling and that he had no way to unlock it. We thought this was strange but we left the store and called the last phone company that we a bought a Sim card from to see why our phone was locked. They explained that they had no way of locking the phone. This made sense because we used about 4 different Sim cards from 4 different companies while over the course of several months with no problem. After going back into the store to try and get my wifes, almost brand new, Verizon phone activated the salesman refused to even try to put in a new Sim card and activate it stating that he had been doing this for a long time and that it just simply wouldnt work. We leave the store again and dig thru our bags to find the old Sim card. Thankfully we saved it. So while sitting in the parking lot just outside the store we insert the card and low and behold it starts giving us prompts on how to activate the phone!! Not 5 min later we have the phone working. However, it was not with the number we wanted. For the 3rd time we walk back into the store to show the guy that we had the phone working. He very rudely referred us to his coworker saying that he had something else to work on. Being suspicious that this guy didnt actually know what he was talking about, I did a quick Google search to see if my phone was no longer allowed on the network. Guess what? IT IS! After a quick visit to another branch not only is my phone reactivated but the sales person at the new store help set up auto pay! I am writing this review to hopefully help someone else not go thru what we did. BE WARY OF THIS PARTICULAR BRANCH! Especially if you have something not so simple that needs done. They dont seem to be very educated and appeared to be very lazy. Take what they tell you worth a grain of salt and get a second opinion if you are in doubt.

This place is rude and had bad customer service . I tried returning a phone case that didn’t fix my phone and the dude said we can’t take it back because there is surface scratches. I said how the heck to you know if the scratches were not already there. I will never shop there again and I advise no one else to either
This is the worst Verizon store ever they are rude they talk to you like they are doing you a favor by talking to you. When you buy a thousand dollar phone the charger and the brick should be in the box and my wifes was not dont you think they should check and make sure that its all in there for a thousand dollars. But they said its not there job to do that . Verizon should be real proud of these bone heads this store should be closed or get some people in there that know what they are doing if Bobby is a terrible manager
Told Dan, the salesperson, twice that I wanted only a bare-bones plan, no insurance, extra storage, Etc, only wanted to be billed for my service. A bunch of extras were added on my plan which took me 45 minutes on the phone with Verizon to get corrected.Also bought a jetpack, unlimited data, because I was told that it would only be throttled (to 3G speeds) if I exceeded 22 Giggs per billing cycle and was receiving from a busy Tower. Turns out that after 15 gigs the data rate slows down to 1/2 Mbs (which makes standard websites slow to load), regardless of location. Im considering canceling the entire service.Be very careful at this Verizon store, or consider avoiding it entirely!
The service is rude, unprofessional, and not customer facing! No wonder they are always empty! I went yesterday to see if they could load my pictures and downloads into my new phone ($600 value) and one of the reps was very rude and asked me why the Niles Verizon Store did not load them when I purchased the new phone there. I politely asked her to repeat her out of place comment. She said we will charge me $20 dollars to transfer my data since I did not purchase the phone from them! First, of all I did go to the Austintown and they did not have the phone I wanted nor accessories, so that is why I went to the Niles store! The Niles store is by far the better store!
