Not quite sure what is happening at this store lately. Ive been shopping here at least 3 times a week for several months and it was great. Up until recently, every associate that was nearby greeted you as you walked by. Now, all you seem to get is the thousand yard stare as you pass. If you ask anyone for help they will gladly help but the general demeanor / vibe is not the same. Lately I have noticed shrinkage in the Market Meal Deals. They used to be dinner for 2. Now you get dinner for one and a half... if youre lucky. Im pretty sure we will be passing on these in the future. All that being said, the other prepped food, butcher and fish counter, and the deli department are all still awesome! I hope they stay that way.

I was told they would have a bigger selection of fruit and vegetables than Publix. Not the case, plus I find it rather expensive. They do have some great meat and fish choices though. I may only go back if Im nearby buy likely wont go out of my way.

Excellent food! The food is fresh and prepared well. I am never disappointed with the food. The service at the place could be better. The wait staff moves very fast and seems to always be in a rush. If the service was better I would give 5 stars but the service needs improvement.

Hands down the best grocery store in Aventura. Wide selection of interesting products, helpful team, clean store and their bakery is delicious. Oh, and the Little Big Meal is a weekly must!

In general this location is pretty good, however yesterday I purchased prepared chicken cutlets expecting them to be cooked correctly since they were prepared and ready to eat. The chicken cutlets were not cooked all the way through. I called the store to leave feedback on the cutlets and I was put on hold for a long time. I hope this location becomes more aware and keeps the safety of the customer in mind.

I feel great at this particular location, the staff is friendly and the store is organized. The only con is the shopping carts. Sometimes there is none, nada, empty. If they focus on that, that will be the dream store. I think!

Great place, and experience. We where greeted by Peter, he was extremely nice and took the time to go over different products and services they offer. He recommended things and made the experience top notch. Everything was very fresh, like we just pick it from the farm. Not only do they have quality food but quality service. Everyone was smiling, overall great place to shop.

Fresh Market is pretty expensive in comparison to other markets, but their products are excellent. The produce is always fresh, their meats are high quality, prepared foods are good, and their bakery is better than any other grocery store bakery in the area. They also seem to have a pretty good wine selection. Its a specialty market so they wont have everything you can get at a store like Publix (i.e. - basic beauty products, cold medicine, and the like). If youre willing to spend the money, its worth a visit.

Was very impressed with the selection of items here. The store itself, considering the time period, was very well-kept. Store has a darker-than-other-stores interior but its actually pleasing in my opinion; and the store is relatively spacious and accessible. The selection of produce and seafood and meats is one of the reasons I really liked this place. The prepared foods also seemed fresh and appetizing. The store has began implementing protocols for safer shopping as well. With a store like this, youll be looking at prices that are a bit higher than the other chains but there was quality in what was bought and the service was okay as well. Parking is tight but should be plenty.

Clean, good meals, good products and good customer service

A nightmare ThanksgivingI watched people getting their orders having arrived way before me. I begged one of the young ladies attending to please check for my order in the back. After a while she came back and said they were working on my order. Half the order was wrong. One of the items I ordered was apparently burned so to make up for it I received tons of extra boring green beans. The fish I ordered was wrong and awful. The order was for cooked fish, I got it raw. To add to that, The Old Fashion Apple Pie I ordered to my horror was missing and so was the gravy. The staff were so busy covering up and helping to get me out that I did not whether I was coming or going.I called last week to try and check on my order but the lady from catering was so overwhelmed that she rushed me off the call.

Have been here a few times and it’s gotten worse each time. We’ve been to Fresh Markets in other states and although they are usually a little overpriced, they generally make up for it with quality and service. This particular location lacks both. Nothing against Walmart, but this location feels like one. The staff complains loudly about their hours and not wanting to be there in front of everyone. The last time I was there, the cashier was beyond rude and got even worse after I asked her to not be rude. She clearly didn’t want to be there. I hate to bash stores, but I won’t be going back- especially since there’s tons of other options with better service and quality in the area.

Meat and seafood department are very disorganized when taking turns. I like one woman before go to me and then I went and they just started complaining about a number and the funny part is that she was number 78 and i was #79. They literally screamed at me very rude. I was visiting Miami and if I ever come back to Miami I will never come back to this place again.

Terrible, place looks disorganized always with half empty shelves, the bakery is poor, with old stealth product. Their new coffee station is always dirty, and the coffee is horrible, weak, 7-eleven grade. Learn from your Doral location managers and staff.

Be very careful when buying food.Yesterday I bought several items with expired storage periods. This is simply unacceptable.I’m used to trusting that if something is sold, it is properly stored and has a good shelf life. I came for a refund when I saw that the shelf life was until January 15, 2020, and I completed the purchase on February 27 !!! How is this possible?If I were poisoned and sued you?I received a refund, but no one even apologized or stole the goods from the sale.Yes, this item is still expired.Take care and avoid this store.A huge minus to the management of this store.

Fresh Market is always ideal to shop. However, as a result of Covid, the excitement of trying new stuff had changed. But the store is still awesome.

My go to market for specialty items

My husband and I went in on the 22nd of December to get the chicken special that they have there every week. I got some things in the vegetable section, which I always like, but when I got to the meat section it smelled like a slaughterhouse, it smelled like it hadnt been cleaned in a week. It was the stench of blood and food that has been left out way past its due date, like it was spoiled, rotten. We went in there about 7:00 or so and it was so bad that I am thinking that maybe I shouldnt pick up my chicken there anymore if this is how they keep their meat and produce at this time. Its really a shame because I really like going to this place and now Im kind of afraid of what Im going to get when I go there as far as meat and chicken.

I used to appreciate the high quality of this upscale store. I didnt mind the high prices so much. Over the last six months I see more items with no price listed anywhere. A cracked watermelon just sitting in plain view with the other watermelons. Vegan hot dogs that were just a few days from their Sell By date. Same issue with JustEgg vegan egg products. Their own brand of ice cream contains more skim milk than cream. Today I grabbed a carton of chocolate almond ice cream and found some of it was dripping down the side of the container. Spoke to the night manager a couple of times and his attitude was so glum that I just gave up trying to talk with him. This all started well before Covid19. I hope they pull it back together soon!

Todays experience was not good. Did not find 2 of the three items I went in for and there was a long line with only two cashiers.

Went there today 2/26/20/ what a pretty store but the employees at the deli all have dog faces and nobody would serve me at meat dept and i was the only person standing there at 11am in the morning. Fire the manager or whomever there is creating the negative vibes. because after all who wants to be served food with contempt..

Lighting is dim, selection decent, sale prices great, regular prices a little on the high side. Staff seems to be there just to do their job and nothing more. All reasons I dont shop here afternoon, but was in the area and needed a few things. Wish the place was more engaging like other locations.

Staff is very unfriendly. Took me like 12 minutes to be served without a line. 5 employees behind the counter and no one acknowledged me. Other than that the food at the deli is amazing

Loved this grocery store! Everything is so fresh and beautiful quality. We had the best strawberries we’ve ever tasted from here!However, the hot/cold food was only ok. The cabbage rolls were in a way too sweet sauce, and the cabbage wasn’t cooked enough.

The worst customer service ever! The most miserable and unhappy people work here that do not have any sense of how to treat a customer. I spent over 10 minutes in the deli section waiting just to be served while there was no one in line and three employees were walking around and NOT even acknowledging you. And then, to top it all off, the cashier was talking to someone on her personal phone while ringing me up! Just “fantastic”! Just shows how they care about their work and the company they work for. Lack of gourmet food (caviar, good prosciutto and charcuterie) is surprising as this is an upscale market. Fresh food is great but expensive.

They have friendly staff, ni e products and delicious meals.

Try the chicken salad near the deli sections. Excellent taste. The freshly cooked potatoes are good also and served at the deli. Prepared salads are delicious choices around the deli area. Theres a full seafood and meat section also if you like to cook. Beverages from wine to health drinks are sold here. Its a international grocery store. Mostly organic. Fresh produce, floral section, and much more

Large offer of different tasty and of course fresh food. There is also a big choice in coffee, free to taste.Not to forget the kind lady that offers everyday different wines to taste. You even get some crackers or cheese with it.

The service and quality has definitely gone downhill in the past few years at the Aventura location. Used to really enjoy shopping here but its become lackluster for an upscale place. Last few visits: no fresh coffee, dirty floors with puddles, unfriendly employees at the checkout, empty olive bar all make me think theyre going out of business, or want to....

Fresh Market is my favorite place to shop. Great fruits, the best cuts of meats, an olive bar, soup bar, free coffee. Fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps, hot foods, small grocery section, every kind of nuts you can imagine, candies, coffees, wines, cheeses. You wont be disappointed. Btw, orchids, roses, plants, gift ideas also special cards.

I love this place!The selection of foods is great and the atmosphere is much warmer and friendlier than the major supermarket chains. My wife and I tend to go the deli to pick up a quick dinner when were not up for cooking. They have all kinds of fish, meat, and cheeses to choose from.For dessert, and when the kids come over to visit, we indulge in their so called Kitchen Sink and Oatmeal Raisin cookies. Give them a try!Overall, its my favorite local market.

The roasted chicken with garlic, butter and thyme was excellent and a great value for $5 on Thursdays. However, I refused to pay $3.45 for a half loaf of rye bread.

A nice and healthy supermarket a la whole foods. everything was clean and fresh. They have food made daily upfront at the buffet area. Good selection of products. friendly helpful staff. not a bargain shopping place. healthy stuff where you pay what you get for. Not a lot of big brands as its all health food or low sodium lower calorie versions of most things.

One star because of this issue. Normally a four to five review. Read on...Fresh Market, Aventura had a great price on cryovac frozen swordfish steaks. I purchased about a half dozen of them. While there, I noticed they had the only frozen Bagels I like, Rays, and noticed the price because it was noticeably less expensive than Publix by about a buck. So, I purchased the bagels as well as the swordfish. At home, I glanced at the receipt and one of the swordfish steaks was $3 more than the others, and the bagels were $1.50 or so more than the price at the refrigerator case.I made a special trip back to the store an hour ago. It was also an opportunity to purchase something great at their bakery department, and with receipt in hand,the manager simply said Oh,Ill credit you I asked if they had a policy similar to Publix whereas if they overcharge you, you get it for free, and she advised me No.She met me up front at the register and the clerk rang up the cake. There was an EIGHTY cent difference. Begrudgingly, I reached into my wallet and said I think Fresh Market management should be ashamed of themselves for not simply saying forget the eighty cents and she replied I GAVE you an additional fifty cents credit to which I replied, Heres a dollar, KEEP the twenty cents change, Im sure others will be interested in knowing that they better check prices at Fresh Market, Biscayne Blvd., Aventura.Is this something that would drive me over the wall normally? I dont know, but...THIS is not a NORMAL time, we ALL have too much on our plates, and this was the only healthy way I know to help lower my blood pressure that is not where it should be. I love this store everything in it is as the name says fresh, including fresh squeezed orange juice which is very hard to find anywhere, regular orange juice is like drinking soda after its been processed and boiled all the goodness is gone but fresh orange juice is excellent for your health, love this place cant wait to get back and come here again.

Absolutely the worst customer service!

Ive had to return fruits and dairy that have either gone bad without expiring (poor refrigeration) or are too ripe and rot within a day or two. This quality control issue has been going on for two years. Not shopping here again.
