Took days and days for our windshield to come in. After arriving, they never phoned us to tell it had arrived. And! We couldn’t contact them, so our insurance company had to get thru. Appt made. CAR HAD TO BE THERE AT 7 a.m. Called to say at 10 that they had the wrong windshield and wouldnt be finished until 2:30. It was finished at 5:30.Could their lack of professionalism and caring be blamed on Covid? Ships in Long Beach harbor? Or simply a company, Safelight, that doesnt care a horses hinney about YOU? We are requesting the future that our Insurance company never sends another member to these rude creeps.
This was the 2nd windshield to be replaced in a week. The first was an aftermarket windshield that had all the safety sensors and cameras already installed on the piece of glass. The wire harnesses did not reach some of the sensors. So they re-ordered an OEM piece which everything fit. However, when I went to get a sun visor tint installed, the place would not touch it. apparently the clips were broken off because the plastic covering that all the safety equipment are hidden, was sagging on one side. Then he looked at the glass where the safety equipment are seated, he noticed a crack that was right in front of one of the cameras. The window tint tech did not want to get blamed if he installed the tint. I am surprised by the quality of work from Safelite. I will be calling my insurance and try another shop, or maybe even the dealer. Safelite is no longer my go to place. Never had this happen. Maybe its just the location, and not all Safelite locations or techs..
The installation was very good, but the clean up was not. They left small pieces of glass in my interior and I went to put my phone on the built in charger and I got glass in my finger. I looked around and seen more small pieces all around so I had to vacuum my whole inside dash and console. I would think that they should make sure the glass is cleaned up properly so you dont get cut.
I’ve had the worst experience replacing my windshield with safelite. I was originally scheduled to get my windshield replaced at my home on 10/13/21. One hour after they were scheduled to arrive I get a call telling me I have to come into the shop, fine. I schedule an appointment for 10/15/21. I drop my car off and two hours later I receive a call saying they didn’t have the right windshield and I would need to reschedule. I made an appointment for 10/18/21 at 7am. I drop my car off and an hour later I get a call that once again they don’t have an appropriate windshield and they’ll have it ready by 1030 for the car to be picked up at 12:30-1. It is now 2:30 and it is still not even in shop.Update: replacement windshield has a crack so once again I will need to reschedule. This is ridiculous.
Called to replace the windshield on my 2004 ford focus. They came.on time, had me ready within an hour and it went on flawlessly. Definitely recommend using even if paying out of pocket the convenience is nice.
Glass installation went well, however the first time I drove to work I got a new rock chip right in my line of sight (not their fault). Trying to talk to some about whether I should schedule a repair or replacement is next to impossible. This is mostly due to the fact that you have to get through a robot to talk to someone. I could even understand that if their phone tree to connect you to a person wasnt such a POS and structured so poorly. A big part of customer service occurs after the service. Big miss safelite.
This is an update and is my third time Safelite has made an appoint with me this time at my house and didnt show up even after sending me an email about the appointment and the technicians name. Four and half hours I waited and then called only to find out he had been sent to another job. I drive to the shop and demanded it be repaired now. They seemed to not believe me until I showed them both the email at 605 AM and text messages also.I felt sorry for the poor technician Moses because he gets graded on a survey not the shop.In my second dealing with them I scheduled an appointment with a shop only to find out they never got the message scheduled. On the first time they sent me an email giving me an 8 AM appointment on Monday when I knew it was impossible to get a Tesla Windshield in a week. Because of their terrible phone system I couldnt find out what was up. Drove 25 miles only to find out they didnt have a windshield and didnt know how the appointment was emailed to me.This time I called actually got a live person but communications was not her major strength.On the second appointment the following happened.I told her I needed an appointment today because of a Star ⭐ chip and didnt want it to spread in the Arizona heat.I explained to her I was close to one of their facilities, she couldnt find it. She had me in the wrong State. Got that resolved and she tried to schedule me for next week at this location which isnt even close to where I live.She finally makes me an appointment and I specifically asked her that it was today at 3 PM at the location I was close to.This location I even told her several times was not near my home but I didnt want to drive in 110 degree heat with the rock chip.She sent me a text message and off I went only to find out I didnt have an appointment.Worst customer service ever again. They just dont care that you wait for hours when the manager knows they dont have a technician to send to your home when the shop opens.No I will get a computer response saying thank you for your review.

The technical was fast! The inside of the store was ridiculously 🔥HOT! Dont be so cheap with the AC when its a 120• outside. Your customers should not be miserable. Because of the AC I am giving 2 stars.
I was told the tech would come to my house between 7-11am. I called at 11, no tech. The manager told me the tech assigned to my case was pulled off the job to work in the shop. Why didnt the manager call me right away to tell me that? Then I was rescheduled for 1-3pm. The tech arrived at 4pm with the wrong windshield. Call the manager again and sure enough, I needed a different glass and someone will call me later to reschedule. I think I may have to call another company.

Sure they replaced my windshield nicely which is why I gave a 2 star instead of a 1 but now all of a sudden my steering wheel makes a weird noise. And when I go back to say something they just say they didnt touch it. Yet this noise was never there before we took it in to them. Not only that but now all of a sudden my car smells like cigarettes when me nor my spouse smoke. Kind of hard to be happy about my service with them for my windshield with these two inconveniences.

These guys replaced my windshield for free through my insurance. Dropped it off and was told it would be done by 4ish. Got a call around 11 that it was done! Talk about quick service! Conveniently located off of McDowell Rd., I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for fast and reliable service.
I contacted Safelite to have my windshield replaced, I drive a car with the cameras on the windshield and after the windshield replaced, the cameras need a recalibration. Safelite assured me they could do it, but I needed to drive my car to this location because of the recalibration, and so I did. I dropped my car off and after 4 hours I received a text that indicated the work was done. To my surprise I received a phone call in which I was told that the recalibration of the camera was not performed because my tires were not the original size for my vehicle and that basically there was nothing they could do, that I had to contact my Acura dealership and take it to them... My problem is this; why wasnt I told about this before the tech started working on my vehicle? Why is it that the tech didnt completed a check list to insure the work could be completed? So I went to pick up my vehicle and the charge for roughly $960 was charged to my insurance (yes, the recalibration was charged) if you drive a luxury vehicle, contact your dealership and most likely they do have a company they work with for windshield replacement and with OEM glass, I found this after I had a nightmare with Safelite.
Tech came to my location and Did the SAFELITE BEST. MY GO TO WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT CHOICE FOR WORK & PERSONAL VEHICLES.
Excellent service, the car was done in no time and the glass looks great! The only critique is that they left some flakes of the old adhesive on the dash, but they should come off with a light dusting.
If you value your time, find another solution. Do not use Safelite. I scheduled an appt. in advance and when I arrived they still needed to verify my insurance (although I already entered it in the system when I made the appt). However, I waited for over an hour while they attempted to do this. Seriously, this is 2021, why does it take you so long? They use a call center “Safelite Solutions” to verify insurance before they’ll do your repair. In the time that I sat on the phone with them I pulled up my coverages in my insurance app, emailed my insurance broker and was ready to send them verification - all while they had me on hold to verify insurance.Here’s some free advice - there is a lot of technology that you can invest in to automatically validate coverages and not make customers wait an hour. For crying out loud the people trolling the car wash to repair windshields are more efficient than this. Not to mention you have my address and I’ve done business with you for years (on the same insurance policy, BTW) - send me a freaking bill if you need to. I’m an established repeat customer and I could show you multiple sources of verification to limit the risk of doing the work as scheduled.More free advice - balance the risk of having to email or mail me a bill IF you have an issue with my previously verified insurance, against the risk of losing a repeat customer. Opportunity or reputation loss is eventually much more expensive than fixing a windshield chip that A customer MAY have to be billed for later. Get a clue!!In case it’s not clear, this is me VERIFYING that you lost a customer today.
We scheduled an appointment for windshield replacement last week, the technician came on time but when he was finishing the installment the glass cracked and had to re schedule another appointment to replace it again. When my Husband came home and checked His vehicle, he found few scratches that wasnt there before. So then we went to the office to show the Manager about the scratches. Today, supposed to be the appointment @ 7am.. Ive waited until 9:30 and no Safelite technician shows up so I decided to call the office, the lady over the phone told me that our appointment was supposed to take place in their office. I said, Im pretty sure that my Husband scheduled home service because thats what we always do. So, we have to re schedule it again for tomorrow. Too much time have wasted. They shouldve call or follow up to customers.

Scheduled windshield replacement about 5 days out. Arrived at appointment time. Didn’t take the car for 45 minutes. After an hour of me waiting, they told me that they forgot to get the trim piece for the replacement. So had to reschedule for a few days later. Super inconvenient, and why would it take an hour to tell me this if I had an appointment? Obviously booked too many people that day.Came back two days later and had no issues and the work was done properly.

I had my windshield replaced on Tuesday of last week. On Saturday my mirror fell off while parked! I’ve called multiple times; I’ve gotten no response. I have emailed, no response. My car smells like cigarettes and neither my wife or I smoke. My steering wheel is now making a noise every time I turn it, which it never has before. They’ve taken no accountability, they’ve taken no responsibility they have not even acknowledged any of my complaints. I can’t get through to anyone since Saturday!! To say I’m irritated would be an understatement!!
Safelite is horrible, we called them to repair a new rock chip that just happened the day before and the tech argued with us that it was an old chip, we called his office and the lady laughed at us, we took it to a local windshield/glass guy and he did a wonderful job repairing the rock chip, we will never waste our time with Safelite again......
They do grear work this is my 2nd time going to them for a broken window but will say need to work in getting right parts the 1st time ive been reschedule 2 times now due to needing parts for the window
The service was great. It only toke minutes to check in. They said it was going to take between 2 1/2 to 3 hrs to replace a windshield I was out in about 2 hrs, AAA service.
Safelite did a great job replacing the windshield and recalibrating the sensors on the windshield. People at the desk were very professional. Hope to not have to do this again, but will go back to Safelite if I do.

This facility was great! Outstanding customer service from the manager who came out of his office to assist me when all other employees were occupied. The installer was knowledgeable in his position and also had excellent customer service. I would highly recommend using this facility.
I didn’t get an option to leave a review in my email, or just couldn’t find it. Justin was quick and efficient so respectful, and very professional. On time, personable, and explained the instructions for my windshield and when I can drive/remove tape. Great service, I would definitely recommend this safelite to my friends and family. Best part! They’re contracted with Root! There were no random fees, just pay my $100 Comprehensive deductible, and be on my way! They didn’t try to finesse me, gave me the option to reschedule and were awesome about it!

Explained the reason to fix and even fixed some of the pinholes. Mentioned wiper blades should be replaced soon, but didnt push me to do there. Definitely recommend and I will use again when needed.

Tech screwed up when my vehicle was done so people that came in after were leaving. Asked the lady at front desk if it was ready she found my keys w a wrong ticket. She was saying sorry which happens i understand. When tech came out he did apologize but it didnt seem like he meant it.That right there to me says what a customer means to him. If it wasnt for the lady in front I would have said something but I let it go. Only reason i went here is because my insurance company sent me here

My daughter drives this car and she was at work- he made the process super easy and seamless, came into her work, got her keys, performed the replacement and brought her keys back to her. VERY HAPPY and highly recommend.

Was not pleased with this place made a appointment to have them come out and change the glass and the person they sent didnt now what he was doing so he said we would have to go in to get it done because of some camera we said there was no camera we had it done before but not with this compan. So I made appointment to go in they said about 2 hrs to get it done, well NO camera to be calibrated if he was trained right, I wouldnt have had to wasted my time to go in TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE BETTER.
A chipped (treatable) windshield on a roadtrip, got an appointment well after my return trip home. Autozone self windshield treating worked better. This too after a new windshield replacement by safelite 🤦

They took care of the crack in my windshield very promptly. Ladies out front were very nice and professional. They listened to my concerned about the type of windshield I needed and made it happen for me. Hope to never have to replace my windshield again, but in case I ever do, then I know where Ill be heading to.

I arrived for my appointment on time and was told it would be 1 hour and 20 minutes. Tell me why a guy that comes in after me to have his replaced and he’s out on 30 minutes? I’ll tell you why.. I had to pay for mine and he didn’t! $112 labor is why mine took over an hour.. for a $100 windshield! The whole time I waited in the lobby they were blasting rap music so loud the lobby walls were getting hit with base and not to meant tons of profanity! Not very professional! Also on the receipt it said your car has been vacuumed.. yep didn’t happen! They lady at the counter needs to work on her customer service.. I tell her I have an appointment and she’s like oh you have $250 deductible! When I try to get more information, mainly because my husbands windshield was under $200 and he had it replaced by them.. she’s like that’s the only price. Not very satisfied at all.. if it wasn’t for my insurance I probably would have gone with someone else..

Would have been 5 stars if new windshield was an exact replacement but its not. No blue across the top and worse, odd distortion in glass causing disruption in view. Also, bathroom out of order.

I left my car at Safelite all day to have my windshield repaired. It’s my only means of transportation so being without my car is an issue. Three days after I had my car the plastic around the calibration that goes on the windshield fell off. I’ve been trying to call to see if I can come in and all I get is a voicemail loop then hung up on. At this point I wished I would’ve used a different company. I’m high risk for COVID due to a neurological problem & I shouldn’t even have to go back to your company. Needless to say I’m extremely disappointed.

Absolutely the worst customer service and follow through on completing work when assigned. They ordered my glass then installed in another vehicle. They didnt even bother to let me know on my appointment date. Manager Mario says, mistakes happen... no big deal. Well just order another and reschedule. Its already been one month. Pathetic.
This is bull, i set up a appointment on Sunday at 7:30. waited for someone to come. it is now 8:30 and no one is here. my keys dont fit in the drop box, online it says open at 8am i call and nothing! i will not be using this company in the future and i will let my friends and family know! thanks for wasting my time! i will take my business else where!!!!!

I made my appointment. Dropped off my car early, before my scheduled appointment. Later on as the day progressed I get a text saying my appointment was canceled? I call around explaining to everybody that work for safelite auto. Come to find out the lady that helped me out got my paper work mixed up with another appointment that canceled. This is the last time that Im bring my car this this place. So disappointing.
This place is a joke.I had a appointment Wednesday 4/22 and I was told that they didnt had the windshield I was told to come back Saturday so a call Friday just to make sure that the windshield and I was told that they had it so I show up Saturday 4/25 and guess what they told me that they dont have the windshield.If you like a company wasting your time this company dont have a problem doing it.

I finally got a car with all the fancy stuff - backup camera, blind spot lights, all that stuff that is in the box thingy on my windshield behind my rear view mirror. Nobody told me that meant I would have to actually go TO Safelite instead of them coming to me because they need equipment to work with that box thingy. This made me sad but that wasnt Safelites fault and I love my car.Anyway, the people are nice and quick. The place isnt fancy but it was comfortable enough to wait. The work was, as always, excellent. Dealing with Safelite and my insurance company is too easy. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
