I recently purchased a nightstand from Red Door Interiors that needed to be ordered. Jocelyn was great in keeping me updated on the status when there was a delay. The piece arrived and there were issues with the drawer glides. Red Door took care of the issue and ordered new glides. Alfredo and Gus came to troubleshoot the piece and install the new glides. The piece is perfect now. The glide issue was not the fault of Red Door but of the manufacture which is a very reputable company. Everything was taken care of and I would recommend Red Door Interiors.
My wife and I found the perfect couch priced at $2100 dollars. As part of their anniversary sale, the Sales Associate suggested we return on Wednesday, as the couch would be an additional 20% off. We did as she suggested, only to find they had replaced the price tag with one for $3999.You can imagine my surprise, as my wife and I had been there both days prior and each verified the price. I informed the Sales Associate, who brought her manager over. He inquired if my wife had been in yesterday to take measurements (she had not). Which led me to believe they had other interested parties aside from my wife and I. I explained the situation, which to my surprise, led him to produce the tag he had removed with the $2100 price. He explained he would honor that price, as he had been caught, but would not take the additional 20% off as advertised, which would have taken an extra $400 or so off.Needless to say, I did not purchase the couch. It was a good effort to pull the wool over their customer’s eyes, but it ain’t gonna work on this guy.Beware of this establishments shady business practices. Instead of gaining a good customer, they lost one forever.
Went with intention of buying a dining room table but there were too many options (the kind we wanted had to be special ordered, and you pick the chairs, tabletop, etc.- the floor models that you can just buy were a little too old-fashioned for my taste). They were very helpful but its hard for me to picture what a table will look like from just a small swatch. They do have lots of cool furniture..wish we had come here when we were looking for sofas!
Thank you so much, Red Door, for being in Bakersfield. Jocelyn was wonderful to work with and we are delighted with our custom made furniture. We never felt pushed or rushed or ignored! She was always honest, friendly and professional.Linda Bone
Robert - I cant believe how easy it us to use the mattress selector on your website. I also like how we can custom design our sofa, including seat height, seat depth, style of feet, and so on. Thanks for providing this fine furniture store in Bakersfield.
I just received my Taylor King chairs yesterday and I LOVE THEM!! Thank you Red Door. The customer service is excellent. I got to choose the fabric I liked and the selection in store and from their catalogs are great.
The new look is fabulous! Fun! Thank goodness we have a more updated furniture store to shop in. Make the effort to get through the roadworks and check it out :)
Red Door Interiors, Robert Taylor. Robert, thanks for the fast, great service! your service man took only a few minutes to repair our recliner, and have everything in good shape. Thanks again Gary
Ive done business with Robert and Kathleen for years, literally. They have been the most professional in delivering on time with excellent prices too. Im very pleased with the addition of the Hancock & Moore line of furniture, especially the recliners. This is the BEST recliner, period! Thanks so much,Ken Billingsley
Store is a groovy place! Its full of whimsy with high-quality pieces.
Much appreciated the efficient attention provided by Jocelyn, Kathleen, and the delivery men Gustavo & Salvador. Red Door Interiors provides quality merchandise and old-fashioned, caring service.

One of the last upscale furniture stores in the area and it is going out of business. Shop now!
Would not do business there again. After spending $3000 for furniture the cushions went flat within a couple of months after especially telling them I had a back problems. After fighting with them instead of technicians, Robert finally came out and agreed we had a problem. He ordered better cushions which are okay, but I dont like being challenged and my judgment questioned.
Very professional. Special order was ready when they said. Very happy with the service.
Great sales, service and delivery. Friendly staff. Awesome selection. Dont miss their sales!!
Sad, going out business. Final month looks to be January 2020
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place loves a good run around and you get to be their next guinea pig.Short version: Got shoddy quality chairs. Returned to fix and spent a full month getting the run around. The owner is a conman and tried to sneak a fee under my nose, trying to label it as something completely unrelated. After dealing with all of this, an hours worth of work was put into fixing the chairs and the whole problem was fixed, but definitely not worth any of this hassle.Long version: Dining chair set ordered and delivered on time. All four chairs had serious issues and so Red Door was called to pick them up. Took them a week to get the chairs. Seeing how poor the work was, I wanted a refund and after the chairs were taken, I called for it. The lady who answered said the owner wasnt in and only he could issue that. I was told Id get a call the next day. End of the week I have nothing.I called back, same story (owner out), new excuses about new staff that screwed up and was fired. They could fix them. Under good faith, I accepted expecting a call in one week. The week came and went. A second week came and still nothing. I called, finally getting hold of the sales rep (designer). First she heard about the issue. First the owner heard about the issue. Bunch of excuses about a new employee who messed up and get fired, etc. Theyd be happy to fix it, though! Foolishly I accept and wait for another call in a couple of days. The week passes, nothing. I call and get the first person I had called. Informed they dropped the ball on getting back to me and the sales rep and owner were out. Told I could see the chairs at the warehouse. Went over and found the chairs were not only not fixed, but new issues popped up. Called to demand a refund. Suddenly a restocking fee was mentioned. Nothing in the paperwork mentions a restocking fee, nor any mention of it in the agreement when ordered. I was given time to mull it over.I call back, told the owner could call me later. For once, they actually follow up and do call me. He tells me hes going to check on the chairs that day and call me back. Later that day he calls me, says they look fine, makes excuses about uneven floor, etc. I tell him I want a refund, he brings up restocking fee. I hang up to check on the thing. Call back. He insists on a restocking fee, I insist there isnt one.I head over to the store and he explains that the cancellation fee is a restocking fee, stating I was cancelling the order. I honestly never thought a well established business man would ever think that a restocking fee and a cancellation fee were remotely the same, but I can assume that hes a sharp man and just a confident conman that knew he had no ground to stand on with that. The topic of checking on the chairs comes up. He says theyre ready. I head over and find they actually worked on the things this time. Finally accept the chairs and they came quickly after that.I will never order from Red Door again. I spent a month without dining chairs because of their negligence and the antics of the staff and owner only shows how sloppy and underhanded this company is.
