Dr. Hawley and his staff are AMAZING!!!I had gone into the office to pick up a pair of glasses that had come in. The day before I had had an allergic reaction to eyelash extensions. The office was able to see me IMMEDIATELY (WITHOUT any previous appointment!). I was seen by the doctor, examined, given a prescription, and out the door within 15 minutes!! WOW!! That kind of care and service are nearly impossible to find in this day and age!!Additionally, they have state of the art equipment that makes getting new glasses easy and efficient. The staff is always friendly. Appointments are on time and quick. And, they also have a great selection of frames to choose from.I HIGHLY recommend Premier Eyecare Optometric Center for your vision needs!!

This place has good service and the people are very patient. We dont both speak really good English and I appreciate that they do not have an attitude about this. The doctor who helped us was Dr Miller. He did a good job as did the lady who helped us select frames and lenses. Amazing the selection of frames. Why not 5 stars? Well about three years ago they harassed me via text message including texting me on Xmas morning. Really!! But I just texted back stop and they dont bother me any more with texts. But you have not had Christmas in Bakersfield until these guys pester you on that day.

I have been going here for years, as well as my father, wife, and daughter. They are not a pediatric optometrist but still were able to see my daughter and make it very comfortable for her!

Amazing place. Very clean and up to date. Dr Miller was great, friendly, and answered my questions with great detail. I couldnt be happier. I recommend this place highly.

The doctor was patient & informative. Good selection of frames. However when I picked up my new eyewear, one side sat higher. The dispensing person did not notice. When I showed her, she agreed. She tried adjusting the frame but it still set cock-eyed. A week later I returned and they were still unable to adjust it correctly.

Great service if you dont have issues with your prescription. I know nothing about glasses or prescription lens, and relied on these folks to help me get my issues resolved. After several tries to get my lens right, I have finally decided to go somewhere else and hope that a new place will have the patience and willingness to help me figure out what is wrong with my prescription. Problem is, I used my annual vision insurance benefit at Premier, so the cost getting these lenses right will be fully out of pocket now. =(

Staff is very informative, helpful, and patient! I’ve vited serveral eye care placed but this one is the best one I’ve ever been to . Aside from helpful staff, the place itself is in excellent conditions . I highly recommend this place .

Bought designer glasses and waited to receive them . The frames had no tags or stickers. When I went home after I picked them up (same day) they had crust from being worn in the nosepiece area.it was hard and wouldnt wipe off. I assumed it was the sample try on frame that they gave me and thats what I told the employees. I sent it back and they supposedly had my frames reordered. The lady who attended me on my 3rd visit said she was told to remove the stickers in front of me. The stickers were on the lens not the frame and the frame had some dried white paste. I dont know if they just polished it and gave it back to me but I dont trust their sales members and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ive bought sample frames before but never for full price and I dont appreciate the deceit.Edit: This story is from the beginning on 2017.

Never take for granted the things you may have in life! Weather its a job, Dr. Office etc...Over the years weve had great experiences coming here... beyond comfortable with the treatment wed recieve. Due to unfortunate events in life weve had to switch insurances. One that they do not accept. Its hard to find certain places that just fit as a family and it is no secret you have to work hard to recieve the treament you are looking for, for quality, hospitality and just GOOD business! This was the last place to leave us sadly. However, I would recommend PEC to ANYONE looking for quality business and overall fit for your family!

The staff were awesome I waited only a couple minutes and the whole appointment was fast and very thorough. He took time to explain everything going on. I also took my son who was a preemie a true preemie 27 weeks gestation. He also has other medical issues I took him for years to another eye doctor (Dr. Alexandrkis)he prescribed glasses every time which were expensive he broke them every time within 2 or 3 days. I went to premier and Dr. Hawley explains that his left eye never developed fully and you couldnt help it to see better. Thats why he probably never wore them they didnt help his vision at all. What a relief to know that any attempt to make it better was futile. He doesnt know what I had been through with the schools and the doctors with the other diagnosis but it was a relief to tell the schools that so they would quit hounding me about glasses I could not buy every week. Thank you so much for being such a great eye doctor and not trying to make extra money on something that is what it is.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hawleys for about 30 years. Through glasses, to contacts, to glasses, and soon bifocals. Uggh. I just adore Dr. Hawley, very happy personable guy and his staff is super friendly. They are helpful when picking out frames, but not pushy, so you can decide. Dr Hawley is very knowledgeable about his field. I am a science teacher so we talk shop sometimes. :)

Dr. Hawley and his staff have handled my eye health needs for over 7 years. Dr. Hawley not only looks in my eyes but also thoroughly explains the eye examination process. Also, I do not have to have the old fashion drops in my eyes for an in depth examination of my retina, macula, ect. Instead I always have chosen his better method where a complete picture is taken using a high tech machine. The Dr. can see so much more in your eyes than the drops way. The cost is reasonable at around $35. I have also have purchased glasses from his office with great results. They always have the latest frames.

I used to love the service until the mngr was unethical and laughing in my face refusing to exchange y glasses that had a mnfr defect will never buy any more glasses from here i spent about $3000 in glasses here over the years, not to mention that there employee broke my limited edition glasses that are no longer avail had to settle for whatever they said was avail and comp in price which they are very uncomfortable and i dont wear

Terrible costumer service. Took 2 months to get us in a emergency.
