The BEST experience at any business I’ve ever had in Baltimore. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and remember me every time I go in. They ALL know their stuff- can give suggestions for any price point and preference. Even when I need hard liquor which they don’t sell, I still prefer to get my beer and wine here because of the impeccable service they offer.

First time coming here and it won’t be mylast! For starters, WOW! This liquor store is so beautifully organized. Along the side of one wall are white wines -> red wines. They specify it as being a light white, sweet white, and deep white (more chardonnay types) - they specify light reds and deep reds also. In the middle of the store, there’s a mix of each; light, deep, sweet, rosé, etc. Along the back wall, all beers - different beers from different regions. They have seltzer’s in that section as well. The guys that work here were super helpful, so professional and so kind! The esthetic of the place was so beautiful, it’s painted a beautiful charcoal color. A must visit for all of your wine needs!

Nice prices. Ordered online through the app when they were closed. Order was ready the next day for pickup. Checked in to inform them I arrived and by the time I looked up they were at my door with my box. Checked my Id and that was it. Seamless. Black owned. ❤️ 6 bottles for 66$.

Amazing tiny beer and wine shop. They have an amazing selection and constant new arrivals. Tons of specialty drinks and mixers too. A few outdoor seats and its a perfect stop on a walk to the park.

Just joined the Rox Box club and picked up my first order last week. I have enjoyed the 2 wines Ive tried so far. Its a cool concept and they were very friendly and well prepared.

Fantastic selection, and the store is super well-organized (so easy to find exactly the type of wine you want quickly which is essential during COVID). Plus they do online ordering and curbside pickup (theres a little inlet where you can park, so youre not driving around trying to find parking). Plus from what I can tell, everyone inside is always wearing a mask, which is not something a lot of other liquor/alcohol stores have been enforcing super strictly :(

Delivery and curbside pickup seemed to be the only options online so I assumed I couldnt go inside. It is black owned from what I was told from someone else. I liked the different wine selections online. Looking forward to going inside to browse better next time. Editing review to say the sangria in the box is ssoooooooo tasty. I love it. Definitely a must for my bar collection.

While the place might be small, it offers a large variety of unique drink choices: beer, wine, and liquor. They have online ordering which makes picking things out very easy, and they are quick to call and recommend alternative options if you select something that is no longer have in stock. Also, if you go into the shop, the staff is very friendly and helpful to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for.

They have a few wine and beer selections on tap, which is really great. The location is nice, too! We will for sure be back many times.

Placed an order for delivery (as a gift for a friend) and turns out their website is completely outdated. none of the bottles on their site were actually in stock. a nice gentleman called me to explain but basically laughed it off saying oh well. I had to cancel my order because of their lack of inventory, plus, the whole situation was not worth my effort.

Love this place! My favorite wine/beer store in the Baltimore area. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable, I always ask his opinion when I go in and I am never disappointed when I leave! They have tastings whenever I walk in and I enjoy trying out all the local wine and beer. They also have a rewards card which is really nice to have! Great little shop FULL of many delicious local beers. The staff is always ready and willing to help you find something that fits your taste and or to recommend new things to try.There are frequent tastings as well so you can try some new drinks without having to commit to buying a whole bottle or 6 pack. This is some old school customer service here! The owner, Jeryl, remembers what you like and is always ready to make recommendations. The tastings that they frequently have (wine, beer, cider, sake, etc.) are always great events and are a real asset to the neighborhood.

I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere here at Off The Rox!! Having a place where I could buy quality wine or beer, and drink it there is a HUGE plus for me!! The music being played while being able to engage in great conversation is the perfect place to unwind after a long week! Every time I come the owners always recommend a brand new wine or beer for us to try, and we haven’t had a bottle we didn’t like. You can tell the owners put a lot of hard work and effort into their wine and beer selections, as well as creating fresh new hang out spot!

Excellent selection of wine but I particularly love the variety of canned beverages like vodka and lime, hard kombucha, Lime margarita, tart fruit ale, and mai tais. They are super refreshing for summertime. Excellent customer service too!

I was waiting with great anticipation for this store to open and my patience has been rewarded. Great little store with first class customer service. Their selection is very well curated with wines not always found in other, larger stores. They have weekly wine and beer tastings and that doesnt hurt either. Extra plus (for me) its within walking distance so yeah, Im a brand new regular 😀

My friend and I stopped by Off the Rox over the summer looking for a specific bottle of wine, and while we didn’t find it, we got to talking with the owner and he recommended a really unusual red Vinho Verde, and it was exactly what we were looking for! We don’t live in the area anymore, and we couldn’t remember the name of the wine, so we wrote to OTR, and they wrote back right away! I couldn’t have been more impressed with the store and selection, but the customer service we received in person, and in response to our special request, was truly exceptional. Saw it while my father and I drove to bjs stopped by on our way home. One of the owners was there to help us she is very friendly and knowledgeable about her products. Its a bit out of the way but I will definitely be back. Wish they had tastings on other days though as I practice the Sabbath and cant make te Saturday tastings.

I gotta say this place has some really tasty wines! Stoked that it’s moved to the neighborhood. Wife/husband owners know their inventory and are pleased to talk about it and seem like cool people excited to be there. Many biodynamic, unfined, unfiltered etc etc options from Maryland to California to France to the country of Georgia. Haven’t bought beer here yet, but that’s harder to mess up. More pleasant place to buy wine than Lighthouse. 👍

My husband and I love Offtherox! We live in the neighborhood, and stopped in on opening day. We were both really impressed with the selection of wine and beer, the range of price points, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the co-owner Jeryl we met (he and his wife started the business this summer). There is beer on tap, some snacks, and there are weekly tastings...we havent been to a tasting yet, but plan on it. Weve stopped in twice since opening, and Jeryl is so welcoming, and always makes great recommendations. Really happy to support a local business, especially one that seems to really care about its customers.
