The cookie bouquet that I purchased along with balloons was a big hit for my sons birthday. The cookies were fresh and very detailed. I definitely plan on purchasing more in the future. Thanks for making my day with the surprise and my sons day as well.

Literally the worst experience ever. I set up a corporate account for my company and was looking to place 23 orders for next week. A sales rep reached out to me quickly and I spoke with her about what I was looking to order and then she sent me the order form. I filled it out and sent back to her to receive her out of office message. I live chat the company who gives me another contact to reach out to so I sent it to them. Nothing. I call the number to place an order from the website and get the voicemail box of the person out of office. I call the customer service line to be told that the person out of office is the ONLY person in the whole company who can take my order so there is nothing anyone can do and no other solution.

Terrible customer service. Place an order two weeks prior to needing it. Was a big part of the party favors baskets for my daughters party. I get there and the girl could care less and was rude about it never said sorry or anything. Dont know how you could run a business and not be organized and they sent confirmation that they got my order. But to be honest after seeing views on how bad they taste glad the didnt do my prder

I arrived home from work to find a lovely cookie bouquet on my doorstep. Apparently, the animals thought it was appealing as well, and had a few bites! The bouquet was wrapped only in cellophane. I called the company and spoke to a polite rep who requested I send a photo. Less than 30 minutes later he called me back to let me know that I could expect a replacement bouquet. At 7:30 pm, the Baltimore store manager, Ahmed Shafie, personally delivered a new bouquet to my door. He apologized on behalf of the delivery company (outsourced) and stated that he would address the issue with the driver. Mr. Shafie went above and beyond. Excellent service and I would definitely order from them in the future.

I ordered a cookie bouquet for a birthday the day of. Said first available delivery was 2 days away (Monday), which was fine since I was so last minute ordering. Got a personal call that evening thanking me for my order and offering to deliver same day, which I accepted. Worked out perfectly, and looked exactly as advertised. Will definitely order here again!

I had an order sent to my Mom who is 75, the cookies were shoved in the mailbox. They didnt get them until they checked the mail which was on top of them and from being in the mailbox, got ants in them. No one knocked on the door or dropped off at the door or anything. I left a message on their website, no one called me all week. I just called them and they told me to get a picture. The woman is 75 years old, doesnt have a cell phone and why would she keep cookies that had ants all through them. Someone told me to use this company and I was so excited to cheer my Mom up and they act like spending $50 is nothing. When you dont deliver to the door like your supposed to. So disappointed!!!

Ill never order from this place again. I wish I could give it zero stars. I placed an order on 2/10/20 for the delivery of Valentine cookies to be delivered today, 2/14/20. I called yesterday to ensure everything was in place for the delivery. The sales clerk was so rude, like I was bothering her. I told her why I was calling and she didnt ask me any questions as to the order # or the name of the recipient. After I offered that information, she said that the order had already been packaged and ready for delivery.Day of delivery, I called around 10 a.m. to make sure the order was out for delivery and I got the same response and attitude as yesterday. After I offered her the information she needed to see what order I was referring to, she said that the order was out for delivery. 6 1/2 hours later, I called back because the recipients office was going to close in 15 minutes. I gave her the name and phone # to call even that the office was closed. It is now 20 minutes to 6 p.m. (bakerys closing time) and my order is still not delivered. Now the bakery will not answer my phone calls.I placed an $89 order and this is the service I get. Never again!!!

I was very happy when I called last minute for a St Patrick’s basket of cookies and they were able to fill the order for me to pick up. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful. So, I pick up the basket and the cookies looked amazing! We went to eat them for dessert that evening and what a disappointment! The cookies had a horrible flavor and were so hard, you could not even eat them. Threw the whole thing away and what a wasted of $75.00! HUGE disappointment!!!

Cookies were delicious, and well priced for what I wanted. Not only that but the owner hand delivered my order to my home ahead of schedule. Ill be reaching out to Cookies by Design for all my future cookie needs. YUM!

I ordered 2 cookie baskets for a birthday and graduation. The card that went with my birthday basket was lost so I went all day wondering if it had been delivered since I didnt receive a call from my friend. The other basket was for my daughter. It was cute but the cookies taste horrible. I had one sent to me years ago and it was delicious. I think the recipe has changed and not for the better. I will not order again.

My 1st experience has been Great! I would highly recommend. I was sending an elderly couple from my church a gift basket & didnt realize they had moved. The gentleman delivering called me to let me know & agreed to set there a few minutes while I tried to see if I could find their new residence. I did & called him back. He was happy to go to the new residence to get these delivered for me. How refreshing that there ARE still kind & honest people in this world. THANK YOU

I wanted to thank the owner for hand delivering my cookie order for my Dads Birthday. Apparently UPS did not make a pick up and he wanted to ensure the cookies got there on time. My Dad called and said the cookies were even still warm!!!!

Not awful. $10 for 2 cookies is very pricey. The design was very nice. This isnt a vad thing but ab observstion: the cookies are not very moist. Still delicious but not moist

My first experience and it was a disaster. Ordered for same day delivery and it did arrive before 5pm however; the cookies were so hard that you couldnt bite into them. I called the store and complained and was told they have 2 bakers - one likes the cookies hard & one likes the cookies soft. They were going to have the owner call me & get another bouquet out the next day. Ive called everyday and no response. 5 days later & nothing. This was a waste of good money. $68 for a cookie bouquet that was not edible. Very disappointed! UPDATE: I called back on day 6 and the owner would not speak to me but did relay a message no one else complained on that day about their cookies so no re-delivery or refund! Terrible customer service! Will never use this company again!!

Cookies By Design has additional poor reviews on Facebook, Yelp and Better Business sites regarding their terrible delivery, customer service and many people sharing that their cookies taste like grocery store quality.I wish I would have done better research. I paid for next day delivery for a cookie basket to be sent to a close friend that recently lost his professional mentor of 20 years to coronavirus.Subsequent to purchase, Cookies By Design provided NO tracking link or delivery updates. I called Cookies by Design to check on the delivery status; and learned that by nearly 7pm in the evening the cookie basket still had not been delivered.In attempting to speak with Cookies By Design staffer Zac, I couldnt get in a single word, as the staffer working on 06/26/2020 at 7pm began to yell and wouldnt let me get in a word edge wise.I asked if I could speak to a manager, his response, I am the only one here and hung up. My phone records will show that I immediately attempted to call back several times; and no one picked up with my calls going to voicemail.Protect and save your money and stick to the more well known companies like Harry & David or Edible Arrangements.

Being the father of grown children is sometimes harder than actually raising them, compound that by living several hundred miles apart and the chances to do those little things for them are few and far between. We live in KY, our daughter is in the Navy stationed in MD. Her birthday just passed and while on the phone with her she mentioned how much she had really wanted a giant cookie cake for her birthday but hadnt felt like making the drive to get one. Light bulb, ding! Placed an online order with Cookies By Design on Sunday evening, cookie was hand delivered Monday afternoon and my daughter was thrilled. The little things. On top of that, the store called to let me know that it had been hand delivered directly to my daughter and that she had seemed very pleased by receiving it. I had not expected a personal call and the thoughtfulness of that really struck a chord with me. Will not hesitate to use again or to recommend to others. Thank you for a great experience, my daughter said it was delicious!

I had such a great experience with this location! Made the order online and it was delivered to my sister within an hour. I had chosen a Happy Birthday balloon to go with her cookie cake (which looked JUST like the picture online, by the way) and it was just a round colorful balloon. She ended up getting a very cute butterfly shaped happy birthday balloon that was even prettier than the one online! I was super satisfied and will use them again!

Better than flowers! And the owners bend over backwards to make it happen. Such nice people and I was told the cookies were wonderful. A fun and unexpected gift.

I ordered cookies for a baby shower from this location. When I received them, several of the cookies had been broken. This really didn’t matter anyway because the cookies were all hard and not fresh at all. I contacted the store owner and left a message to tell them about the poor quality of the cookies and they never responded. I contacted the corporate office and they tried to reach them as well, but because it’s a franchise there was nothing they could do. There are hundred other bakeries who will make occasion cookies, do yourself a favor and choose anyone of those. The quantity will definitely be better than from this cookies by design location.

Delishious cookies for any occasion or just because you want to let someone else do the baking, especially, when your schedule does not allow. The chocolate chip cookies are VERY good and baked perfectly. They are really good when they are warm.

I ordered a cookie bouquet for my nieces birthday. It reached her at her college freshman dorm and was a very welcome and different kind of package. It was a spray of 7 emojis and she loved it. Best of all for me the ordering process was a piece of cake (or would that be a piece of cookie?).

Tonight I received the ultimate service by the owner/manager of the Baltimore Cookies By Design. A gift was ordered to be shipped, but Ahmed prefers to deliver to protect his product. When the delivery van was not able to access the military base where I live and returned to Beltsville, Ahmed personally drove about 90 minutes from his Baltimore location, to the Beltsville store, and then back north to meet me with the delivery on the military base. Each conversation I had with him revolved around his pride in going the extra mile for his customers, and putting the personal touch on the gift through delivery.Ahmed - you are TRULY #1 in customer service. My brother ordered cookies for me.I never received them.There delivery service is awful and they lie.After days of my cookies sitting in the warehouse, I told them to forget it .They constantly called my house saying they were going to deliver but never did.I would not order from this company .There delivery service is the worst .

Ordered Monday, and the only option to get the delivery to my condo manager as a thank-you gift was Friday. Having no other choice, I chose the Friday delivery. I waited and waited until Friday only to find out UPS finally delivered the cookies at 10:43 PM Friday, long after the condo office was closed. The condo office is not open on the weekends. So my thank-you gift will be a bunch of stale cookies. Slow, unreliable delivery. Really, really expensive cookies. Not a good experience at all. Embarrassing, really. Why does this happen when there is a Cookies by Design within a couple miles of here? I think they were shipped from Texas. The company should take some tips from FTD. The order form even has you mark whether the delivery is to a business or residence. I marked business, as the destination is a business office. You’d think after waiting 5 days for delivery that the cookies could have been delivered by close-of-business.

I think this business might be a scam. I ordered a gift to be sent to a friend in the hospital, received a confirmation of my order, and then communication was never forthcoming about the delivery or the charge! I dont think my friend ever got their gift :( Ill keep checking my credit card account to make sure they dont charge. What a crappy business...

Easy, quick, expensive but not unreasonably so. I was disappointed that same day delivery wasnt actually an option as promised on the product I picked, but its not the end of the world.

Horrible customer service and delivery. I placed an order for the valentines day emoji set with an additional dozen of red velvet cookies. The description says it would come with emoji face cookies like the heart eyes, kissy face, etc. I only got 1 cookie that said happy valentines day and not even one emoji styled cookie. Seemed like a very cute thing to give my girlfriend on valentines day. I had them being delivered to her work place which they never delivered on valentines day which was very disappointing. They even say that if they have a problem with delivery they would call me which they did not. when I tried to call this location to find out about delivery around 3:30 pm valentines day the line was disconnected and was disconnected the rest of the day because I tried to call multiple times. The next day I had to call corporate customer service and complain because I couldnt get in contact with this Baltimore location and I paid my money for cookies to be delivered. They tried to transfer me to this location and again phone line disconnected, so they told me they would text the manager of the franchise to get back with me. she eventually got back to me at 3pm later that day. I called corporate at 10am. Once I talked to her she told me she would look into what happen to the delivery and get back to me. She did not I had to call back at 6, which the line was now working and a worker miss degross told me the manager wasnt in the office and would be returning soon and give me a call back. THEY NEVER CALLED ME Back. Very poor customer service and delivery. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FRANCHISE. I deserved compensation back for the missed delivery which I didnt receive. My girlfriend received her cookies a day after valentines day and thy jus let anyone sign for it and I had to tell her go find the cookies shaking my head. Horrible business
