This is my favorite save a lot staff is nice really good bunch of workers and they r always stocked nicely and easy to find everything

They have changed their hours back and forth during covid and are under staffed. Despite that, the store was clean, shelves stocked and the workers were very nice and helpful. The line was long but went quick.

There prices are starting to get up there. They have allot of name brand items which is why the price hikes, they didnt have many named brand products back in the day when they 1st opened. Also the cart situation, you have to put in a quarter to be able to unchain the cart so you can use it, you do get ur quarter back after its just a hassle having change, or even remembering you had to do that. Lastly why are we still paying for bags, when the prices are up. Friendly workers and management. Store could use a face-lift brighten it up.

Change your hours if your not going to be open at 6am. Google says you are open but on arrival you are not.

As for the most part I like Save-A-Lot stores neat organized and clean sometimes they have a male cashier who is slow at ringing and when the lines are long in the store he does not call for back up to the register he tries to do it all himself and that creates long wait times they need to address that problem with the young man I try not to go to his line when hes working

The necessities are there and its well organized. I was able to find my items pretty quickly. Its also clean and well lit. I greatly appreciated that additional cashiers, whom are also friendly, come to help when the lines start to long. The prices are good too!

No cleaning of carts during covid 19. Evening shift routinely works with no mandatory covid-19 facial masks. Numerous items out of stock for weeks at a time. Customer service number on website does not work. Absolute disgrace to the community. HIRE WORKERS WHO CARE!

If Save-A-Lot wants to charge Giant Eagle/Acme prices, their store should probably be as clean and nice looking as Giant Eagle/Acme. Aldi is cheaper AND not as grimy looking. Zero complaints about the employees though. Theyre friendly and helpful.

Open 24 hours is convenient for us the shoppers but, I feel the overnight staff could use a break here and there, always great and friendly service anytime I shop, Jen is the best!

Stopped in to grab a couple things and was shocked to find similar meat products that I would normally buy elsewhere with the same nutrients and at about 2/3 the price so ended up doing most of my meal prep shopping in one place! I know they have gotten a bad rep in the past but from what I could see they have come a long way!

Have reviewed previously, and as always, great food, great prices, and great people! Walked out with 2 slabs, yes 2 slabs of ribs for around $12!!!! Your Main stream grocers want more than that for 1. I dont have money to burn to feed my family, and I am thankful they save me so much and provide high quality foods.

Too many empty boxes. Meats were looking unquestionable. They usually do anyways. I prefer Aldi.

I struggled with what rating to give. The store has gone through some recent changes, some good, some bad. The woder aisles are nicer, but I think its inconvenient to have to make sure one has a quarter just to be able to use a cart. Instead of inconveniencing the customers, one could create another job for someone and save everyone much trouble.Speaking of inconveniencing customers, so often there is only one checkout open, even during peak times. That too can be frustrating. I realize the chain has low prices, and I realize that all of these changes go towards keeping the cost lower than many other stores, but I still find myself wondering how much they will cut back on help before they lose customers.The good points are that the few cashiers that they do have, are all friendly and helpful. Its nice to see people smiling and that are willing to interact with the public, whether its answering questions or just being patient and understanding when my children are fussy.As a single mom on a budget, the lower prices sure do help. The store also sometimes has sales, which allows us to stock up on those frequently used items, at an even lower price. However, they recently cut down on some items that we liked, they do not have as many canned soups available and have chosen to offer just a few store brand varieties and have instead added two flavors of much higher priced name brand soups. They also have cut back on some of the frozen foods offered. The selection of frozen fish has increased, but the selection of frozen vegetables, frozen meats, and prepared meals seems to have been reduced in number. While they provide an offering of of Mexican foods, they offer little in the way of Asian and Middle Eastern food items, even some basic staple ingredients would be a vast improvement. They do not offer many vegetarian or vegan frozen food options, not even one standard vegetarian burger.Ive been to other stores in their chain, and have been more impressed with what is available on the shelves, but the friendly staff, same low prices, and convenient location is what makes me go back to this one. I cant rave about the wonderful staff enough! Plus there is plenty of parking!

Well reading this place I am taking into consideration their customer service, the cleanliness of their store and the overall experience. price does not affect how I rate, nor should it. But as for pricing it is the cheapest in all of Barberton in regards to grocery stores with budget pricing. The experience here is amazing, if you need help, just ask. (Seriously, even if they are stocking they will help you- and without the snooty attitude you get at a lot of places). Customer service is always amazing, the people at the registers are very friendly. Theres also usually a police officer or security guard late night. The quality of the food is excellent, they also have really good deals. The cleanest is usually always on point (how it is supposed to be), and the only time you find a dirty just during peak hours or when it is really muddy rainy, or snowy. I only say during peak hours because they always have the store clean, its just basically when there are so many customers they dont have a chance to clean yet. You never really find trash on the ground, everything has a simple layout, and the overall experience is excellent. Also, a few notes...1. They dont accept American Express.2. They have an amazing Mexican section/selection.3. They sell alcohol.4. they have those awesome bundle bags of popsicles that are not ridiculously priced (the ones you used to eat as a kid during the summer)5. their carts have a safety feature that lock the wheels if they leave the parking lot.

We absolutely Love Save-A-Lot, the only thing Id honestly recommend is that they open more registers. It seems like theres only ever one open at a time.
