Dont buy any French bread. So true is old taest bad and is old. This should be freshly made on daily basis also expiration dates are a problem in my home theyre to close you have to use the food asap. Health department should be involved. Dont shop at food 4less barstow.

Im officially done shopping at this food 4 less I cant use the bathroom they got it so blocked off. I set my basket aside to go the restroom came back out it was gone, they thought it was go back items. I had to redo my entire shopping. On top of it theyve gotten more expensive I had no where near a full on cart it came out to a little over $300. Took most of my money with very little groceries, good thing after seeing the expensely cost, I didnt bother doing my full on shopping. I will no longer shop here, I rather drive 30 to 40 minutes out to WinCo.

Today I shopped at the store. The air conditioning was out and it was hotter inside then it was outside. I felt so sorry for the employees. Its miserably hot for them. The company could at least get them some fans at the registers. Working in that type of heat is unbearable for them

The store is great and I have never had any problems until June 16 my husband went to buy my son a birthday cake tres leche..once we cut it to eat it,it was a sour aftertaste..I knew it had gone bad..I let it go...yesterday the 21 was my other sons birthday so I went to go buy a small cake which was good(vanilla no milk)..but I had bought myself an arroz con leche made in the bakery and that was also made with I assume bad milk, it was one of the most disgusting things I have ever spit out.I hope this is cleared up and either milk that has gone bad isnt used in desserts from your bakery or you store your products containing milk properly...very disappointed.

It had a weird smell when you walk in. Came through my mask😷🤢. Once past that, its okay. Clean. No trash.

THANK YOU for being the only store in Barstow that has scooters for the disabled. Staters is down to ONE and wal mart is down to four from what they tell me. I wouldnt know because I havent seen a scooter there in months. I for one cant shop without one so THANK YOU food for less.

Besides the long line there is always 1 employee who sticks out and thats ruben always see him bust his behind to get carts and be on cashier and to help out the customers whatever hes getting paid they need to double it hes a very good employee and thats hard to come by these days.

Lines are always way to long employees are rude and they always close at 11 not 12 like stated in the website and on the outside of their building

Sorry but stater Brothers will put my stuff in a bag then put it back in the car and put it in my car if I wanted them to you and if theres people in line theyll open to other registers and get everybody out at Food4Less there could be two registers open in 50 people in line and youre just chilling even if he got one item! Only go there if I have to some staff members are cool but a lot of them act like youre inconveniencing them by asking them to do their job or asking them a simple question so like I said stater Brothers thats where its at and the meat at stater Brothers with the butcher on Deck way way better than food for less is meat I wont even mess w/ chicken, pork or beef from there!

Just love the place, best prices in town for most items, although the fruit selection can be a bit better most fruit looks like it was picked way to early. And the meat department could use a nice once over to be restocked with meats. The selection wasnt good. But as usual the staff was courteous and welcoming.. Always a pleasure shopping there..

Worse place in Barstow to shop

This place is great for groceries. Through there are some other good grocery stores this place is great. Has a great selection of fresh produce, frozen foods, has fresh bread and cakes from the bakery along with a few deli meats. Through heads up this place doesn’t have a deli. Has some pretty decent bathrooms good customer service a Redbox for renting movies or games along with a gas station. So, this place I would recommend if wanting to shop for groceries.

6.23.2020i’m in the store for 5 minutes and i see 8 people not wearing a face mask...it’s mandatory !...i’m a disabled veteran having served to protect the very same people, and now that they have a chance to pay me back for my service they’re refusing !!!

I always try to shop at Food-4-Less they are hands down the best prices in town! They have a great selection of all products I need in one store & I love the Green Tag Specials because they last a few weeks so I can usually shop a few times & Still get the great price! The only thg I could say they could work on is opening more registrars especially when the lines are long!

Good Prices on basic items, and some specific items. We always buy our produce here. Can be busy in the early evening or weekend, but we prefer to go here most often. They carry what need at a good price. Conveniently located right off the highway, and open till later than anywhere else.

Great prices on gas and you can save .10 per gallon by shopping here. I bought a tres leches cake in the bakery dept that was amazing. They have a great deal on fried chicken too. Low prices on groceries.

My shopping experience Happy Blessed was eye-opening the prices are lower than Stater Brothers and theres more of a selection in any other grocery store in the area I recommend Food 4 Less for all of your shopping Meats and they have a really good Bakery fresh baked bread rolls croissants

Its 6.99 for walnuts crazy. There Produce is always looking shady and not good. The people who work in every department are just milking the clock hardly working and they have this lack luster attitude. My main issues are with the prices. They have pricey produce and not enough organic selections. No seeded watermelons or not properly displayed. I hardly see any blacks working there its an all Mexican staff which is ok but I love a little diversity it feels like food 4 less here is more Mexican based and giving discounts to the Mexican people. Blacks we struggle to its not just Mexicans people who are shady do come here but teach customer service were here to save money and come back to spend more not to be cheated out of hard earned buck not everyone has food stamps we pay for food and deserve the same discounts on food we buy especially with Big families like mine.

Food4less is affordable and they usually have everything you need. The problem is checking out. The lines are long and they usually only have 2 to 3 people working in check out. Its very annoying.

Food4Less was amazing today David and Ruben went above and beyond to try to help me find what I needed for my Christmas. Although the line was getting bigger and bigger behind me that you still helped me find the ham that I was looking 4 and thank you David Steven and the young man that went to look for the ham for me and grabbed it be he was awesome

They are the cheapest supermarket but I like nice service so only come when necessary

Its one of the only few stores there really is in BARSTOW. Its alright just sometimes they dont have enough cashiers and lines get crazy big. And then you see like 5 other employees asking around wondering if any of them are going to help and open another line but nope no luck you just have to wait.

Store is clean. Usually can find someone willing to help. Good prices and good food.

Prices are good but the store feels kind of old and there is people out front harassing you for petitions etc... as you go in and out. The produce was kind of disappointing but the organization and cleanliness of the store was on par

I purchased Tamarindo and much of it was molded and found three dead bugs.

This Barstow Walmart has the worst customer service, standing a service deli for almost 10 minutes and nobody will help you, I was in the mood for some chicken but had to go to the Burger King inside the Walmart, dont even waste your time go in here. The people are just rude, the look at you and just keep on walking dont even acknowledge you. Never going back here.

I visited food 4 less today like I normally do when it comes to grocery shopping but lately the customer service workers and management have been very strange for example Im guessing cause Im a regular and often shop with friends and family and at times we enjoy are bonding shopping time and can get little loud and different from other familys so much so Im guessing the repeasitvie have been highly aggressive and paranoid and rude with evil outrageous out burst of false assumptions and rude embarrassing judgement I mean so much so that just getting a loft of bread for me is like being put on trail being followed and treat less than the other customers and put on the spot of course since its the only store Im able to shop at I always corroborate but I mean it is out of hand today was the most humiliating experience and down right embrassing and scary and it was the manager Vince that was the most rude with out giving me the benefit of the doubt and accusation he kept shouting at me in public he just made me feel less then trash its sad too I dont know how Im going to shop now with the shame I feel mane online but other then that food 4 less used to be cool
