Ive enjoyed shopping here. Could use some more sale prices include monthly consistently reductions in food, snacks, drinks, prices would be nice. Meats, sausage, beacon, cold cereal, etc.,. Would love to see prices lower. Other than that. Hiring could use some leverage. Could use some more new faces, locally be hired! Thanks so much for your time and consideration in this matter.

I enjoy shopping here so much. Theyve always had vegan and vegetarian specialty items and are willing to order foods that they may not carry to accommodate the shoppers. Darryl in produce is pleasant and attentive as well as extremely helpful. Im sad to see our local Vons leave Barstow this May.

Rudy Sosa is amazing!! I went in on Saturday to get balloons filled for my sons birthday, he was fast and polite. He also took the extra time to help put them in large trash bags because it was windy outside!! Outstanding customer service!!

Im going to miss this store! I love the chocolate chip cookies. I pray for all employees affected by this unfortunate situation. Many will be without employment and those who have 20+ years in will have to travel distances to keep their jobs. Very sad. I know some of these people and they are exceptional employees with families. The store is always clean and I enjoy shopping there. Will continue to go until doors are closed for the final time

This Vons is a pretty good place. I usually go there for the spirits, if you know what I mean. Great place with a great value.

Liked this store, for fresh bread and items they dont sell at other stores. there closing soon. Toke away club prices and the store is 25 percent off. So same high prices even though there closing

This store is the best! If you work their deals and specials they have good prices. I need good service because Im disabled and Vons knows what that means..... except that older guy in produce. Dude you gotta go. Anyway.....VONS YOU ROCK!BOBBY A IN THE DELI could prob teach customer service classes. He is good. There are several other employees that have helped me considerably... I thank all of you.

I love Vons! When I was there one of the employees saw a man drop money. He gave the money to the man who lost it. That man tried to give the employee a reward, but he declined it. After the man left I approached the employee and told him that was a good thing he did. He said I just wanted to do the right thing!

This Vons Supermarket is well stocked, easily accessed & loaded with some of the best in the business of customer service as well as customer care. They do all one could expect & more. A surprising Can Do attitude from all employees is quite refreshing also. Top Notch Business.

I have shopped there several times. Never had a problem with customer service. Great staff and Good prices.

Clean store with nice employees. I never see a manager there tho. The prices are a bit higher as far as frozen foods and meat but reasonable on the veggies and fruits.

Very helpful staff, freshest products just a little pricey! But you do get what u pay for. Check out there weekly ads there are always great deals inside.

Your public restrooms were terrible. The check it list only works if it is used. I dont normally use Vons and the restroom remembrance will more than likely keep me away in the future. Seems that cleanliness and germ free should be paramount in a place that sells food to consumers. I did, however, have a stellar customer service experience will a Rose in the deli . Too bad she has to work around such deplorable conditions. I am tapping one star for Rose only in order to be able to post this, otherwise it would be negative stars.

Prices are high here the store is small and no matter what time of day i go to this location i get hit up by people outside begging for money... this location has about 10 check out stalls but only two to three are ever opened and are normally long lines . They do have 5 dollar Friday and you can get some good deals sometimes

The bakery Dept had a very pleasant worker whom finished a birthday cake for me.the climate inside was very comfortable even though it was 100 degrees outside. The cashier was curtious and pleasant. Thank you

The staff here are all amazing. Very friendly. Virtually the only Grocery Store in town, but everyone is treated like family here (even travelers/visitors). If stopping in Barstow for a snack for the road, do yourself a favor and come here. Its only about half a mile from Barstow Station rest stop off the 15.

We are just getting a Super Wal-Mart here and worry about Stater Bros, Vons and Food 4 Less. Our Vons has really friendly staff and welcome bulk orders. Moist n yummy donuts that never leave me stranded. Very clean too.

I went to Vons in Barstow CA on Main Street. The employees were helpful and very courteous. The Cashier RJ was helpful when we got ready to check out at the counter. I really hate that they are going to close Vons in Barstow CA Though.

Very clean and they have a nice selection of produce and baking items. There deli is always stalked as well. They always have new pastas and new food to try.

Theres always long lines at the store. Also they have a $5.00 chicken special on Friday but the store doesnt honor it on Friday.(its a Friday Special). But they said they would give me a baked chicken for $6.49 instead of $7.99. or you could get a two piece drum/thigh for $5. I said the normal special is 8pcs. The Mgr. Said sorry about that.

I was pleased to learn it was part of the Safeway brand so I could use my Tom Thumb discount card.

Hardly anyone acknowledged any of the customers, the store was well lit, wasnt asked for my Vons card, but somehow received a club card prize on 1 of 2 items for my order? Eh...

This is an ok grocery store for general items, and we go here regularly. the selection is lacking in many departments, but what can you expect for the desert. I never by produce here; its usually mediocre. However, the cashiers here are generally very nice and it is conveniently located. If you live in Barstow you will end up going to this Vons one time or another.

I love this store. The only problem is the slow service in the deli. One problem that happened at the deli was one time I ordered a sandwich and the clerk shorted me on my meat. I get the italian sub but I like it with all salami and instead of her substituting the meat she only put one layer of salami, I was very upset when I got home.

Worst visit ever, the registers werent processing debt cards. Spent a longtime in the store shopping and Standing in line, and one of the workers said our cards werent working cause we dont have money on them, I have plenty of money on mine, it was a insult, there was 6 different people that the registers would not process our cards.

The store is very clean, well stocked inventory, good deli, and incredible staff!

The store itself seems to be fine and is always clean, however, they really need to do something about the pan handlers and homeless that loiter outside their doors and parking lots. Its getting out of control.

The remodel of the bathrooms is greatly appreciated. BUT.....now both bathrooms are now unisex. It is totally inacceptanlble. The first new bathroom does not lock, and the second door to the other bathroom only opens 18, as it is having hanging challenges. That being said the worst part is when I went in following a man the seat was covered with sprinkled urine. There was about one quart of additional urine on the floor. When a female uses the toilet I do not enjoy having my pants picking up male urine. Totally discusting. Will Vons please reinstate the female only restroom? We spent $187.00 and got a savings of $98.00with bargains I always tell my friends you can really save money there. Would like a response from Vons in Barstow. I payed my visit a one because of the bathrooms.

Really great produce i mean you get some intresting exotic fruits and some specialty items you dont really find easily around town. Everything seems so nicely treated from chip bags to produce everything is in good condition and clean, very very clean! Not much interactions from employees or much of any help if you need to find something specific or questions unless you get thier attention at the register but its a great store for a quick and clean shop becuase its almost never much of a wait in lines 👍👍👍

I dont know how i feel about this one guys. I really enjoy your guys energy in the store because it is very heartwarming but, why them prices gotta be so high tho?? When you walk in to the vons in Barstow California make sure you arent in a hurry the checkers doubt care how long they take to check you out and they know nothing of 3s a crowd they dont look you in the eye and if there is someone they know there checking out then it takes longer the guy at the deli is very nice

Its 107 and no AC in your store!? All the food was covered and it was hot so we left to go to Walmart. Fix your AC Vons! Calling Corporate now and am sitting on hold for over 10 min about this issue. Also why dont you employ some of the homeless that walk around your store? It is so sad going there and seeing people living out of shopping carts. Vons for many is very over priced. Maybe they could take that $$extra$$ and feed some homeless people. We shop at Vons a lot but we will not be returning until they fix their AC so we can actually SEE the food.

The quality of service is so bad!!! I wouldnt even give them 1 star but it wont let you submit without a rating. First, most of the sales require you to purchase multiples of 5 to get the sale, in the event that they dont have enough for that you have to pay full price. The manager/ supervisor acts like its such an incredible inconvenience to be requested. I was so disgusted i decided to void my entire purchase after watching her disrespectful encounter with a soldier. If the Military stopped shopping there, they would go out of business. All over a raincheck they wouldnt give the soldier because they assumed she was the same household of her friend.
