I purchased items online. I shop online with them cause its suppose to be easy to return items with them. Went there twice to have them return items that I had purchased off the internet and was told they online return computers were down and didnt no when they would be back up supposedly store wide. I will think twice now about ordering items online with them.

This Walmart always seems to be not too busy. Very clean, employees are polite. Easy to navigate through the store. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was I was there at 8:10 on a Friday night and guest service was closed 🤔 overall pleased with the store!

Long lines with only 1-3 cashiers working at once. The rest is self-checkout. Bathrooms are decent.Pickup is easier but often out of items. Sometimes there are substitutes but not always. Certain times take longer than others. Employees are efficient, especially Chris who always has doggy treats!

You love Walmart nor you hate it. You expect the aisles to be crowded with product. You expect reasonable prices.You expect a similar shopping experience each time in.Courteous service. Products in stock, quick checkout.

This Walmart is typical of all Walmarts Ive been to. Clean, friendly, huge, huge selection, and great prices. What may be unique about this Walmart is I havent seen it crowded ever.I went for pool supplies as they have a large selection of anything you may need for an a small above ground pool. Their lawn and garden section is decent, not huge, but respectable.

Its Walmart. I appreciate lower prices. I do not understand why theres only one human check-out cashier available most of the time. Why Walton family? Why? Care enough about your employees and enough about your customers and eliminate the stress. Please. Thank you.

Pharmacist unable to answer basic questions and unwilling to help. Unlike other Wakmarts, this place is very noisy and appears to look like a dump. We have decided to get the same service at Geneva Walmart and it was outstanding.

I actually did NOT find the Electronics Department Clerk for 40 minutes. I did call the Service Desk to send someone over to the person to the Wireless Printer Isle. Seen him ring up a Customer at the Register and took off again.

Usually its a hit or miss at Walmarts. Todays was a great experience. I was planning to visit 3 stores today to find everything i was looking for, but fortunately they had all the items i was looking for so i did have to trek around in the heat. The lines werent full and the cashier was fast and friendly. Thanks

They had a wide selection, clean store, helpful staff, and a nice girl at the front register who was able to help me with returning my tire whos name I couldnt pronounce at all. Good stop, plan to visit again in the future over others Ive been to near me.

Can never get help finding something, but thats every Walmart. My biggest problem is with TERRIBLE INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, theyve been out of Breathe Easy tea and Blueberry Acai V8 Hydrate for 2-3 months, I dont want to hear about Covid, nor supply chain excuses, GET IT IN, GET A CLUE. Other Walmarts have them.

Was like shopping in at any other Walmart. Some of what I was needing was out of stock. Several empty spots throughout the store.

I wonder how come when I pay for my purchases fair and square why did a employee in yellow 🤔 try to stop me and demand to see my receipt when the white woman behind me had to show nothing 🤔 is this not straight discrimination? As I told the employee to go to hell I paid for my purchase if you are not going to ask everyone for their receipt Ill be dam if you ask me I know its time for a class action law suit to stop this out right discrimination count me in lets sue Walmart we can win

The store is usually very clean and well stocked. If I need help finding something, employees are usually pretty easy to find. Ive never had a bad experience there.

Nice looking store, but nobody working in there. Only two open checkouts with ten customers in each line. Self checkout had about 20 customers waiting to check out. Try to find an employee for customer help throughout the store???? Forget about it.

I normally love the Batavia Walmart and even drive 20 extra minutes to shop there instead of going to the one in St Charles.But they have really really dropped the ball with the social distancing stuff despite the fact that they have two staff members outside as people enter.All the staff people do is say hello. They don’t monitor number of people in the store or anything!Yesterday, as I was walking into their store ( they have the entrance sectioned off) people were plowing over me, going around me along the narrow walkway etc.It was such a stark contrast to how TRADER JOES just down the street is handling the social distancing. They have staff that is on top of # of people entering etc... are very engaged and pleasant, and ask people to wait outside until someone leaves the store etc.Once inside Walmart, again, people were all over the place!! The store was super crowded and it was almost impossible to social distance.Walmart, you can do better!!

Terrible, dirty, disorganized. You end up seeing cheap things and spending a lot of money on things with no substance. Big waste. Not to mention the parking is the worst.

Great Bbq. Flavorful and smokey. Staff is friendly, music is too loud, portions are not large.

The meat skillet was missing the ham,the bacon and sausage was over cooked. The beef stogonoff my friend had was great. Too much noodles for me.

This walmart is THE WORST!!! Ive placed pick up orders and more than once have had to wait over 15 minutes for assistance. Also my credit card NEVER works here. The Visa card that works everywhere Ive ever used it gets declined at this Walmart. I have been directed by employees to download the app and link my credit card or to use the ATM and pay the fee to withdraw cash. Its always a colossal hassle shopping at this Walmart. Also it always seems to be sold out of the sizes I need. And you can never locate an employee for assistance.

Such slow service. Even asked for a carry out and guess who ended up taking it out. Most certainly not an employee. He hamds me the rolling cart and says you can take this I was ummm ok wow.

I rarely shop at this Walmart. I had a hard time finding things, due to their layout being different than mine. They must have received a truck earlier that morning; there were boxes at the ends of the aisles, which made it hard if you wanted to get something that was right there. For the most part, I was surprised to find the store clean and neat looking. Their produce section was filled up and plentiful! The flooring was different than the usual cement; it added a nice touch! I only shopped on the grocery side so I cant say how the other side looked. If Im in the area, I will shop at this Walmart again!

This Walmart is a helluva a lot better than the one in St. Charles by the McDonalds on Route 64. The staff is about average in terms of customer service. The facility itself is pretty good too. The only issue I had when I went there recently was having to go to the washroom and finding out it was under construction for remodel or something.

Its Our Go to Store, for Anything we need. LOVE being able to do 1 stop shopping. 😊👍

The Wal-Mart in St. Charles is 100% better than the one in South Elgin. St. Charles store is clean and well organized, produce is fresh and aisles are clean. South Elgin store needs better management.

This store is clean, bright, well-stocked. Ailes are wide with alternating one-way markings for social distancing. Both patrons and employees wore masks. Checkout was a breeze. Abraham was my checker and he did an amazing job of quickly and thoughtfully bagging my various items so as not to crush or damage salad and other food items and not to overload individual bags. Thank you, Abraham! My arrival and departure were met with warmth by the same friendly greeter. Shipping at this store is a pleasure. So are the prices. ; )

My visit today was full of adventure. The end of Holiday Season always brings an adventurous search in the store to see the sale items, along side the New Holiday of Valentines Day. And its always nice when the cashier listens to my stories about my Holiday Season... with a smile.

Big selection. Good prices. They carry everything from groceries, to auto, household, office, pet products, pharmacy, hardware & paper products. At times, they need more cashiers working as lines can be long & long waits to check out. They need to be like Target, with a person adding cashiers and directing shopper traffic. They do pretty well, but could vastly improve their Customer Experience.

Store was stocked better than most Walmarts. Cashier was very pleasant. Associate directed me to wrong place to get key made. Parking was plentiful. Overall pretty good experience.

Just finished shopping at Batavia walmart. I am fast becoming less of a fan of the cashiers there. The one I had today was rude and disrespectful. I purchased a gift. I asked for a gift receipt for it. She said. I have to start over now. Your suppose to say that before I ring up. In all honesty I completely agree. I just forgot. She then was very angry with me. When my transaction was finished. I stepped away from register to check receipt. I glanced over and she was talking smack about me to next customer. I heard them. And they stared. Not cool@@

Over all its been a good service but this one time I was very disappointed. I ordered a ben n jerrys almond milk ice cream because Im allergic to milk. Mind you I always indicate to please not substitute anything I order. (Im picky about what I use). Well the associate took it upon themselves to substitute my almond milk ice cream for a regular ice cream!! I told the guys who loaded my bags and he was arguing with me that nothing was substituted. So I asked him if there was ice cream in the bags. To his surprise, there was ice cream in the bag. he said they would refund my money after taking the ice cream back and the associate would fix that for me. The issue has not yet been taken care of. 😣 why if I indicated to not substitute, would you substitute?!!

Warning, just to let know if you have mobility problems and want to get an electric cart be prepared to wait for sometime fof one and ic you get one be prepared to have it not fully charged between me and my mom we went through about 4 carts to do shopping. Not a good experience for the disabled. The greeters were blaming customers for leaving them out . That is why there are cart attendants and plugs

Could only enter and exit on south side of building. Makes parking lot at that end very crowded. I usually park away from the crowd. Made for a nice walk to the south entrance and then all the way to the north end and back to the south to the exit. It would be alot easier if you entered one and exited at center doors.

I use the grocery pick up and have never had an issue...very convenient.

Register girl forgot one package to giveth my caregiver.would not have it delivered. Terrible weather,talked to assistant manager, saidtherewasnomanager. She wouldnt have itdelivered. Both very beligerant.Didnt care about customers ice at all. Never again in Walmart !!! Plenty of st present my business. Ima 100% disabled vet, wheel chair bound. They didnt care at all about the inconvenience. Ive never been treated so rudely.

It was a little pricey for some of the portion size but the service was great. Our waiter Tom was very nice.

Carts all over the lot. Self checkout registers were all filthy. Didnt see a single employee cleaning or sanitizing.

Brought in clothing I bought 2 days ago to return. I was told they are not taking clothing returns right now. There was no signs to say this was the policy at this time. Meanwhile I hwve 50$ worth of clothes I cant wear. And I could use that money. I will not shop at Walmart again.

One of the worst things about this store is how bad the electric chairs are for the handicap. Ive gone through three chairs to shop there. And I get frustrated when I cant find certain items that should be in a store that size and then I have to go to Woodmans and find it.

Stopped going to Wal-Mart on Butterfield rd because they stopped having cashiers. Started going to this one.But today two cashiers. This is bs.i work 40 hr week then I have house cleaning langury to do.no I do my shopping and I have to wait in line for 20 minutes No this is wrong people like cashiers.and then u see workers three men falling each other around talking instead of doing there job.Sunday and then theres no coffee cream big French vanilla. This place is going down the tubes.pleaese keep pleanty cashiers. Not do it yourself. Thats not for weakly shopping.

Most of the time.a.very busy store. layout is typical. They have self serve checkout. Staff are usually polite.

They are better with the amount of inventory but the $ signage is abysmal .They have an abundance of self kiosks which is a plus

To the lost prevention guy that stopped me tonight after I bought the light bulb for my cars headlight. I’m sorry that I defaulted to my security tester side and handed you the product protection tag the way I did. If you feel off about it just know I’ve done it before and you continuing to ask for my receipt was the correct thing to do. The reason that interaction resulted in me walking out the way I did was because of how you interacted with it. You had been a bit too forceful with your tone and I had headphones in which threw me off a bit because I didn’t even realize there was a product protection tag on it. As far as I could tell you where a random person potentially acting as a vigilante and in these times it is best to avoid people that act that way for your own safety. I paid for my item and then proceeded to leave. To my knowledge you never announced who you where and just came up asking if I paid for the headlight and when I was walking back into the store to hand the cashier at the self checkouts the tag you stepped in front of me which is rather aggressive. In the years I worked in retail the LP staff never stepped in the way of any customer they would try to communicate with them and then would call law enforcement if needed. As an important note to this locations management. You should either flag the items to call over a self checkout attendant or not allow items with product protection to be scanned at self checkout. I’m sure y’all had a long day as did I, but treating a customer like they are a thief when they just needed a headlight is not the correct way to go about interacting with them. Especially with me walking though and hearing the chime. It took me a moment to process the chime. Once I had realized there was a tag I did what most people do and I turned back so I could be helped. Slow down, pay attention to what’s going on, assume nothing, and politely engage the 300 lbs bearded man. I would have happily shown you my receipt but your escalation resulted in me just walking away.

Shelves are always a mess and never seem to have a good selection. Check out takes about as long as it does to shop.

Well organized and well stocked. Great selection of affordable dairy free and gluten free items, which is a huge bonus for those that require a restricted diet. Would be nice if they had more staff around though for items you cant find or when you dont like self check out.

Going to Walmart is never a quick visit. They either move things around, people dont know how to move in the parking lot. The employees just look so depressed. I almost bumped into an employee sweeping he gave me the nastiest face. Then I watched two managers walk by talking about how the clothing area is a disaster and how its always a disaster. Which is true. You cant really find anything. Everything is just thrown around some stuff isnt even hanging its on the ground and they block the path for people to go through with carts of clothing so everyone is trying to move around it. And for some reason though its like that at EVERY Walmart. I also went in looking for work boots and the whole thing was a mess. Shoes all over the ground. I mean are they just asking for people to get hurt? The only good thing I have to say is, its not like the one in Rockford,IL. At least this one is somewhat clean. The downside just like every Walmart is that its not very organized.

Always find what I think I need and always find some kind of spectacular sale worth ringing up my friends phones for!!😊
