This is hands down the best coffee shop in the Geneva/Batavia/Saint Charles Area. The coffee is amazing quality, the seasonal drinks are super creative, and the staff is very friendly. The vibes are amazing and the location near the river is perfect.
Perfect alternative to Starbucks and Dunkin. Local owner and convenient when out for a walk on a weekend morning. Love it
My friend and I have been wanting to go to this coffee place forever but never have time as they close before my school ends, however, we went for the weekend and it was well worth the wait! The coffee was so tasty and so were their smoothies! The staff was nice and the store its self was very welcoming!! Highly recommend :)
A decent, nice, quite, super friendly coffee shop. Enjoyed their breakfast option. Will revisit if going that way...
Terrific service & quality tea! Love this comfortable cafe.
Best!Best staff friendly and ready to greet you at the start of your day.Best beverages, from at least three drip coffee flavors daily to great hot tea selections to spiced or Vanilla Chai to all yes of lattes and other creative drinks.Oh and you may want a tasty muffin or the yummiest energy bar packed with peanut butter, chocolate, dried fruit and more.
Limestone coffee is awesome! They have several different coffee options that are delicious and reasonably priced. Their staff is always pleasant, and I can honestly say that I have never had a bad coffee there. My wife and I go there fairly regularly and we love it! I cannot say enough good things about this place! Try the morning latte! Its one of my favorites!
A very inclusive and kind atmosphere. The drinks and treats are also fantastic.
Discovered this coffee shop this morning! Really great coffee!!
A great little place operating (currently) curbside-only. The staff are super friendly, and the location is great -- surrounded by charming old architecture, outdoor sculptures, and well-maintained sidewalks and walking paths. I had an Americano and it was delicious (and straw-free!). Highly recommend
Great food, great people, amazing smiles. I biked here, covering 30 miles. Ordered a breakfast burrito and was pleasantly surprised with the sweet cantelope who gave the burrito company. The dish was neither heavy nor light. It was a perfect balance of healthy, tasty and filling.People walking dogs rested outside, with water for the poor dogs. People passing by said hi, and stopped to give pets. The barista made conversations with the customers. Sometimes conveying regards to Xs wife or mom. Clearly, these guys were regulars, if not friends. Felt like out of a movie, like a small town Cafe where friends meet friends and make new friends. Felt like the place youve always wanted to go to.An amazing Cafe in an amazing town. I could dream of growing old here.
Love these guys! Coffee is always hot, fresh and delicious. Bakery goods are a nice bonus. The owners are great people and the team theyve hired are friendly, upbeat and happy to be there.
Service was quick, coffee was good, prices were reasonable.
Wide variety of specialty lattes. Hope latte was phenomenal! Looking forward to coming back and trying more!
No drive thru but the walk is nice, view of the river, baked goods are home made, and the coffee tastes better than the Empire from Seattle.
Best coffee shop in Batavia! Limestone is located right downtown next the Wilson St. bridge over the Fox River and that means it’s conveniently located right off the bike path. Making this the perfect place to relax after a morning run or ride, which is why I’ve been a regular here on Saturday mornings for over half a decade. It’s the kind of place you can grab and go or - even better - stay a while and enjoy the local artists on the walls and read or write or chat with friends (my favorite is using one of their real mugs, buying their refillable option, and sampling their coffees of the day which always features something new and seasonal). In warmer months, you’ve got to try the sitting area on the back porch with great views of the Fox River.
My husband & I love Limestone! Very friendly neighborhood shop, great coffee!
My daughter and I stopped in to try this spot since we are new to Batavia while she was home on spring break. We loved the coffee & the prices were very reasonable. They had a great selections of coffee and teas to choice from. We will be back again to try some of the baked goods they have when we have time to sit down and enjoy a bite. They looked great. I am so glad to have found a great spot to support local businesses in my new home town.
Super friendly staff and amazing drinks! Highly recommend!
Cozy local place to get a nice hot coffee or tea.
Limestone is a place I really enjoy. The workers there are so nice, welcoming, and do a fantastic job surving the customers. Their food is so delicious! I really love their hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies. Its a great place where I can spend time with my friends or when I want to be alone and do some work or draw.
This is an amazing local coffee shop. The drinks are tasty, the furniture is comfortable, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I would highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking to wile away an hour or two with good company or a good book.
The coffee is excellent and the service is great.
Very cozy place to work, relax, and have a nice conversation. It was a great place to spend some time on a warm December day. Almost like sitting in my own living room.
The staff are wonderful and welcoming people. The food and drink are good, although quite overpriced. The main issue I have is with the owner, Joy. She tends to be extremely rude and passive aggressive, and it has gotten to the point where if I see she is working, I will take my business elsewhere. She constantly berates the employees and makes rude comments while trying to maintain a good façade, although everyone can see her true character. I’ve found out that the employees are severely underpaid. While it’s normal for tipped workers to make under minimum wage, it is a legal requirement that their hourly wage + tips equals minimum wage at least. However, as someone who is close friends with multiple employees, I have been told this is not the case at all and the owners pay all of their employees, even managers, very low wages. Make sure you tip your workers if you happen to stop here, because it will make a big difference to them. Im torn between avoiding a business that treats its staff poorly, and wanting to support their lovely employees who deserve better.
Always enjoy a stop at limestone... On my own, for a date with my husband, or special time with one or all of our kiddos (14y, 9y, & 5y), its a lovely spot! Great tea & coffee options, tasty quiche, delicious regular and gf baked goods, a cozy atmosphere and more.
Super cute local coffee shop featuring art by local artists. Plenty of spacious tables and work space if youre looking for that. The drinks are good and pastries are fresh. Would recommend.
Worked for close to 4 hours. Had two delicious seasonal coffees and a bagel sandwich. The gingerbread man lattee was delicious! Like liquid cookies from the oven. May be back next weekend for more focused work time!
Ive been here a handful of times and its delicious and fresh Everytime. They have unique coffee flavors, a friendly staff and cool meaningful stickers, books and jewelry to purchase. Love it
I always come by getting some food in here. I enjoyed the swift customer service and well made dishes. Great work.
My wife and I biked up the Fox River Trail and stopped in for a drink. We were greeted with friendly smiles. Since it was early on a Sunday morning there were only a few people there and the wait was not long. Our drinks were prepared quickly and were delicious. As we were enjoying our drinks more and more customers came in, so I definitely recommend stopping in early if you dont like to wait. Were eager to stop back to try the tasty looking food items on the menu.
Very friendly service nice staff!!! Love there coffee!!
Very friendly! Very covid conscious! Very delicious!
Unique flavor blends for a nice morning coffee
Just stopped in after a morning bike ride and had a carmel mocha(?) and breakfast burrito. Food and coffee was great. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Service was friendly, and quick. My daughter and I enjoyed our short stop and will definitely return.
Always great coffee and friendly service! The hope latte is my favorite
I love this place! Being in the La Grange Park area, it is always worth the drive or a drop-in when I am out that way for other reasons. They have nearly a dozen different kinds of homemade quiches as well as other, freshly made and delicious food items. And their coffee is very good too!
Great little place! Only real smoothie place in the area. Really good! Great customer service!
Fantastic coffee. Not bitter and burnt like a major chain we all know. Seasonal roast are fun to explore Quiche is excellent! Friendly wonderful staff that make you feel at home. Weather permitting dont forget the raised deck out back overlooking the river. High quality, great price! Friendly and comfortable. Great job!!
Great little hidded gem near the river in Batavia. Creative teas and lattes. Nice place to work as well.
Great Place! Good coffee. Im really glad theyre back. My only comment would be that the portion sizes have gone down a bit since they switched locations but its not terrible. (Really I noticed in the muffins. They were huge previously now theyre more of a normal size)Overall I really enjoy the place and wish I had more opportunities to stop by!
Cozy place. Friendly staff. Sometimes have local musicians. Prices are comparable to big chains. Mostly street parking but I rarely have issues finding a spot.
Great coffee shop with cozy area to sit. Be aware it closes at 2pm during the weekdays. Bizarre. Otherwise really like it
Wonderful place, great people and great coffee!
Good when its open, which seems like seldom.Update: New owners have expanded the hours and this is now one of my favorite hangouts. Great atmosphere and tasty snacks as well
Such a great casual coffee shop atmosphere with tasty specialty coffees and brunch foods!
Every Saturday we walk a mile or so into downtown and start our day off with Limestone. Been frequenting here a few years. Great staff, wonderful coffee. The energy bites are delicious!
Great drink options with good food as well. I love how much they support the art scene! Friendly staff make for a great place to frequent.
Great small town feel. Good food, good coffee. Portion sizes on the food are on the smaller side, just know that when you order 👍
The staff is great, very friendly. Moe and Dennis are very down to earth. Coffee, lattes, scones, and sandwiches are the best. The staff on the weekends is rather slow, but still the quality of friendliness and the coffee are still the best. My only wish is that they had longer hours.
Good cafe. You can easily have a bite to eat and a cup of coffee.
Amazing baked goods! The coffee smelled awesome, but I went with the vanilla chai and was so not disappointed! Will definitely be spending more time there. Its not a huge place, more cozy and felt like home.
This place is a gem. We were visiting Batavia and dropped in for breakfast and some coffee. The four cheese quiche was to die for. The service is wonderful and the sense of community in the shop is really cool. We loved it so much that we hung around long enough to eat lunch. We had a Greek salad with chicken and a fruit plate. We should’ve taken a picture because it was beautiful. If I had to choose between this place and Panera bread I would choose Limestone coffee and tea every time.
Dennis sold his soul for his quiche recipes. They are exquisite. Ive been coming to this coffee shop for years and appreciate the hard work its taken to provide the community its living room.
This is the best coffee shop in Batavia. My wife really likes The Fox because of the real peanut butter they put in it. I like it for the good coffee and free refills.
Better than Starbucks! And less expensive. Amazing selection of coffee and tea drinks. Delicious pastries and a few breakfast items. Located in a cute, historic building in downtown Batavia. Comfy seating options indoors and a few outdoor options. They also sell locally made items like jewelry and pretty note cards. If you have time, get your drink to go and head one block north to Batavias beautiful Riverwalk.
Their caramel apple cider, oh my. So. satisfying. Live music Saturday mornings, just right for a rainy Saturday.
Been here 3 times now as I travel through town. Great staff, delicious coffee and extras. Love the local business owner concept they work their business and it shows in the quality. Nice out door patio too cant wait for spring.
Perfection
Delicious coffee and tasty sweets. Great to see a thriving independent coffee shop.
Ive tried several types of coffee here as well as the food. The coffee drinks are pretty good. The service is okay but a bit slow.
$8 for weirdly flavored off texture quiche. Weak watery Look warm coffee. Nothing great decor unless you like politically motivated propaganda as photo art. I love to support local businesses that are non franchise. This one was not worth the money. I will not return as there are so many better choices for coffee and a snack in the area.
Great little coffee and tea shop down town batavia. Staff is very friendly. Good Drinks and good service. Would recommend.
Very good coffee and very good quiche. Great place in downtown Batavia.
I tried today, like 👍 the coffee, but I would like see offers or coupons, just because Im tired of DD, and Micky dz, and great job
Perfect place for coffee and a quick breakfast. Gluten free and vegetarian options. Incredible coffees
Such friendly service and comfy cozy vibes. Delicious cold brew!
Good coffee with a great location and atmosphere. Had a wrap for lunch which came quickly with delicious ingredients. Will be back.
Great local coffee shop and cafe that supports local artists.
Great products, service and atmosphere!☕ Enjoyable way to start the day🌻👍
Absolutely love this place. Great coffee, great food !!
Always great drinks and service!
Oh wow! We are so glad we dropped in. We were in Batavia visiting family and dropped by for some breakfast and coffee. We had the ham and cheese quiche. It was the best quiche I have ever eaten. The coffee was amazing. We will definitely be back every time we are in Batavia. The community was so wonderful that we stayed long enough to eat lunch. I had some work that I needed to get done so I jumped on the Wi-Fi which was super fast. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this place. You will not be disappointed.
The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, the food is flavorful and delicious, and, most importantly, the coffee is great. I plan to come here whenever Im in Batavia, and, in fact, I am currently hesitant to finish my first visit here as I write this review. :)
Hipster coffee cafe in historic downtown Batavia. Great coffee, multiple specialty brews, teas, baked goods, hot breakfast quiche and gluten free options. AND free WiFi.
Owen was really nice and gave me a good coffee but Matt was also very helpful and said happy birthday on my birthday
Great customer service. The Greek salad was delicious!
Coffee, Tea & Art. Its a nice place to visit with a friend.
Very good americano - it was truly proper! Nice variety of snacks. And very interesting interior. Oh, and a great barista!
Fantastic place to focus, think, and create.... When no one else is there, which seldom happens. But hey, one cant fault them for being one of the most popular places in Batavia.
Decent coffee and I like the location in the downtown area
Delicious coffee and baked goods with a fun laidback atmosphere all for a reasonable price. Live music on occasion as well
Awesome staff. The place looks great inside with art from the local high school. Peanut butter latte. Mmmm...
Nice little coffee shop with a good vibe. Great place for quick meetings.
Great place for healthy food, talk and reflection
Really nice place to stay for a long time and do some work.
Quiet and quaint. Reasonable prices and great location
Great choices of coffee! Love the homemade quiche!
Fast and friendly service in cozy atmosphere!
Bright and welcoming. Great spot for coffee right on the river trail.
Great drinks, always friendly and you cant go wrong with the quiche or bagel sandwiches!
Very personable and friendly. Great cup of joe too!
Super clean. First rate staff. Bodacious black iced coffee!
Love this place. Food and drinks are good and the people are great.
Friendly service - good place for coffee - food is ok - clean
Average coffee and they seem to be closed a lot. It frustrating when I go there and they are not open. Most small coffee shops Ive been to have much better coffee.
Very personal space and unique drinks unlike Starbucks.
