Its not my top choice to grocery shop but its convenient when I need something to cook for dinner. Great for basics great prices. Produce section could use more frequent change out.

I was looking for floor jacks for the basement of our home and young man I think his name was Ryan helped us out carried them to our vehicle. Nice young man

Went in for sliced cheddar and ended up finding an avocado that was neither billiard ball hard nor marshmallow mushy along with guacamole seasoning (nice add-on placement, guys). Boneless ribeye 6.99 a pound was a ‘can’t pass up’. Got salsa and chips for what just the chips would cost elsewhere. Got my cheese and some beer and checked out. Total time spent was just a bit more than six minutes

Nice Employees. Some food is good. Some deals are good.However a lot of food is not checked for expiration dates (find moldy and expired food in the store all the time. Be careful what you buy and check all expiration dates or you will waste money and possibly get sick.

Seems the term customer service is a thing of the past. Although there are some friendly employees here; there are a couple who come across as if theyre doing me a favor by doing what Save A Lot pays them to do. I can do without the snooty, ME generation attitude while being cashed out. Its too bad 1 bad apple can ruin the bunch.

Very good location. Prices are good. Building has been renovated, but not the store. Store is clean. Medium size store. Average selection.

Save A Lot is a great place to shop, especially for me, who is disabled. The store isnt too big. Plus, it has everything that a person could need.

My husband does most of his shopping here & finds great deals.

Just visited save a lot now that they finished there remodel and is open again. Was very happy with my visit. All the shelves were clean and fully stocked with a good selection of food. Prices are great especially for people on a fixed income. Ill definitely be back.

Typically went here to get good prices on the basics I needed. It was a quick walk from my home. Went by today and the sign was stripped away and the windows were boarded up. Has this location closed permanently? I can’t find any information online about it, and the website listed it as still open.

Defiantly the new store is an improvement.

Was a bit disgusting to walk in and see an employee standing ON the produce! And then not even bother to clean off the footprints or dispose of the stepped on produce. This was in the Batavia store. Only saw it once, and hopefully the employee was educated.

If you cant find something just ask they are more than willing to help you. I love more products from here than at the big wig stores. Cereal has half the sugar, which my kids think is great. They have the best tomato juice Ive ever had, less salt more flavor.

A Save A Lot is about same everywhere. This one does have good produce a good basic meats at lower prices. Ok place for buying staples. Good selection of Goya products

Although Save-a-lot is the closest grocery store to my home. I usually only shop there for milk, sour cream and lunch snacks for the kids. The last time I was there the sight that greated me as i walked in the door were empty produce shelves covered in dirt where the fresh ears of corn and the $1.68 pints of strawberries had once been located. Their bagged apples are always bruised. This could be a good store if they would clean up their act a bit.

Its good for generic items but anything branded will cost about the same or if not a little more than places like Walmart.Shelves and displays are well organized.It looks like an industrial grocery store, like one of the ones you see in zombie movies - dim lighting, no windows, bleak colors....

@ They were out of 1/2 gal. 2% milk, 1doz.LG eggs left but 1was missing,no canola oil and no 12oz. bags of grated sharp cheddar cheese. Very disappointed .

To me it always feels dirty in this store. Some of their produce isnt fresh. They do have friendly staff who are helpful and pleasant. They run a pick 5 for $20 deal on meats.

Close and convenient. Prices are reasonable. Staff is always polite and helpful. One of the stores well placed for our low income community

Personally I think aldis is better for quality, prices and cleanliness. If you have to shop here it is OK but there are better places around. It would be good if the quality of food was always good and the store was nicer.

For some unknown reason. Thier cashregister couldnt identify my debit card. (One Ive used for 10 years every where else.) The store in Leroy has NO problem with my card.

Great store as far as pricing ect. But... was in here last night at closing and there was one register open which is fine but the cashier was very flustered even swearing that she had no help and they expect her to get ppl out. She called for manager twice and she didnt come out till 5 mins later with another employee and stated they thought the rush was over... felt bad for the cashier honestly. No need to be in the office socializing at that time. Its frustrating to close a store with no help . But also have to keep it cook reguardless as a cashier. Bad management Id say and unsupported staff it seemed :(

I feel like i lower my standards of living shopping here. Its a fast stop for milk eggs type stuff. I dont like doing tgat cause its always not enough cashiers and to wait for few items is not worth it. I drive the extra 1/2 mile to some where with an expeess isle..Jan 15 update wife bought hunts ketchup in December of 2017. Best used by mar 01 16 yea 2016 . Now spoiled food wish i could give them negative stars.after looking at the creamy caesar portmanns salead dressing bought on the 4th tgis month its best used by 12/29/16. This place should be shut down im calling the health department tomarrow. I called the store and manager or it was the assistant manager i forget told me she would make a note and pass it along to her boss. I asked her if she will check the shelves for these 2 products she said no. And to top it off batavias crack geads beg for miney over there . Done with this place.i see thet had my pictures removed of tge expired food products they sold me so i reposted them .

Didnt have chicken thighs that were on sale. Said the truck didnt be make it through the snow. There is only 2 inches on the ground.

Was on a road trip and stopped here because i needed a bathroom break and something to eat. Walked in, spider webs everywhere, 1/3 of the produce was brown, many lights didnt work, then go to the bathroom which was in the back, on my way through the back to get to the bathroom there were FLIES EVERYWHERE, AND ON THE PRODUCE!!!Went into the bathroom and there was tons of trash and a ***USED*** TAMPON on the floor. stains on the wall, the toilet was orange on the inside, overall this place is disgusting.im glad i dont live in batavia.Those who think this is a good place for cheap store brand food, clearly have never been to an aldi or trader joes.
