Ordered a cheeseburger combo. Went in, picked it up for 1:10 pm. Burger was hot, fries were hot. Definitely not the best burger in baton rouge. Large, over sized bland pattie. No seasoning whatsoever. Staff was sweet and very nice!!! Wont return mainly due to tables so close together and patrons not wearing masks and refilling drinks with their straws in their cups touching drink dispenser.....

So so good. Huge portions and incredible flavor. Wait time is long but the food was homemade and fresh! Service was thorough and friendly. Price was great.NEVER change good wood grill!Edit: A few weeks later and they changed. Significantly smaller portions on the same items we got last time. Not sure if they changed the actual food. Maybe last time the chicken tenders were made with chicken breast and this time with smaller chicken tenders? Not really sure.

We both loved loved our food. I got the Shrimp philly and my husband got the catfish. My philly had big pieces of delicious shrimp. Will definitely be back.

Third time to get something great to eat. Daily specials are posted online and real easy to order. Quick to pickup even on days that they are busy.The one time I was in there the dining area was clean and the cashier was very pleasant and helpful. Yes I would eat there again anytime and may catch something from there when I’m not working.Thank you everyone for making such great food!!!!

Dont order the burger. Its a big let down. On the other hand the catfish & shrimp were great tge first time, not so much the second time around. Im willing to give the seafood another go, bcz the cashier was oh so sweet.

Today I went to Goodwill Grill and ordered a cheeseburger which came with an order of fries and a drink. I was over charged in the amount of $2.00. I brought this to the cashier’s attention and was told that the Google searched website does not belong to Goodwood Grill. Pay attention to what you’re being changed at this restaurant because you may be over charged and refused a refund. Zero rating!!! Forced by website to give one star.

BEST FOOD IN TOWN...I love to get the fried fish plate special . They have about 4 thick fish strips, potato salad, and sweet peas. The fish is perfectly cleaned...no bones, no belly fat, and no fishy smell. They are constantly good. Nice crunch and golden fried. Ive had other food and all of it is good.The staff is always nice and very helpful.They have removed all of the tables from the center of the floor. There are tables around the wall and in the little room, so you can dine in.

I was passing thru Baton Rouge and I stopped to grab a bite to eat with my beautiful wife I had the Mega Burger and she had the Grill Shrimp Philly it was so delicious we’re definitely coming back to the Goodwood grill

Theres literally no competition on all of Goodwood for this place. Its literally called Goodwood grill. I have never gotten anything here that disappointed me. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The staff there is very quick and professional and has followed coronavirus guidelines to perfection.

The Shrimp Philly is one of my favorite sandwiches ever! Definitely recommend it. Wish the stayed open later on Saturdays! Id go so often!

I have enjoyed this grille in the past. However, I had not eaten there in at least two years. Anyway, I went today and ordered a Catfish Plate. The fish was soggy and not crisp. I do not believe I got catfish. I mentioned to the cashier of my displeasure. She had kitchen do a remake. The second order was not crispy and too salty. I just left but will never again order from this grille. This was awful and the fish was not what I ordered. It tasted like Basil or an imitation of Catfish. Shame on the cooks and owner for allowing anything but good food to come out of that kitchen.

This little small place is a seemingly well known place by the amount of traffic in and out during my visit. After my first bite I knew why. The grilled shrimp philly was exceptional. The flavors and seasonings was a mixture of goodness with all the juices excepted in a good philly. Its served as a footlong poboy, soft bread, medium shrimp, bellpeppers, onions, mushrooms, jalapeno peppers, swiss cheese and mayo. The chicken and sausage gumbo was pretty good a little more rice then Im use too. The red beans and rice taste like Bluerunners with not much seasoning or meat. The seafood platter had a great portion for the price. Large shrimp, sliced catfish (not swai), seasoned, crispy fries, crunchy yet soft hushpuppy, and a homemade sauce. It a small with a divided wall. Order first, get a number, self serve drink station and have a seat, food brought out to you. Clean restrooms and friendly staff. This little place on the corner of Tara Blvd and Goodwood Blvd is worth the visit for good food with large portions and a great price. FYI, if you are in the mood for a burger, its HUGE. Called the mega burger, on the value menu, measuring about 6 wide and 4 high, appears to be worth the bite. Enjoy!

The little neighborhood corner restruants atmosphere with its daily special is just great. The meals are awesome and filling perfect for dining in and take out. Our favorite is the Friday Special Fried catfish, potato salad and peas. Greek salad with grill chicken or shrimp is awesome.

I’m going 5 stars here. Food is always good and the staff is always A+ and so friendly. They care about your order here and your experience. When it’s busy here, for example lunch hour, the place is still great. Attentive and service oriented. It is clean and through Covid, they’ve maintained and good dining experience whether take out or dine in. I’m a fan.

Best greek salad around. Added shrimp and the dressing is ASTOUNDING. Their shrimp poboys are plentiful and delicious. The fries are battered and very tasty. 10/10 all around. This is a hole in the wall so I dont really recommend eating in for atmosphere but food is really great.

Got the side by side of grilled shrimp & veggies. The shrimp were grilled to perfection with a nice seasoning kinda like Tony Chacheries. Had a warm wheat pita with it.The tea with rosewater is delicious. I dug right in & forgot to take a pic.

The spaghetti was terrible! Too spicy! Never order again.. But on Wednesdays they have pork chops that are delicious!!

Ive been going there for many years. The food is great, and the atmosphere is always good. I make a lot of phone orders and the person who answers the calls for ordering is always nice and friendly, she calls you by name after shes taken your order, and the young ladies at the counter are always polite, greeting you with a real 😃. Its a great place to take your family. Every time my daughter and grandkids visit from Florida thats where they want to go. I gave five starts but they really deserve a 10🙂.

I called in my order and when I gotten there I waited 30 minutes on my order and peoples was coming in ordering and was served before me and my order was paid for.

We ordered a variety of items. all of which were on the WEBSITES menu. they said they didnt have the items.my BF asked for honey mustard twice and they DIDNT say they didnt have honey mustard. we got our OVERPRICED food, and no honey mustard. its the only way we eat sweet potato fries. we live close so he went back and they say oh we dont have any.oh and the potato salad is DRY.
