I do not ever write a review of a business, but I just have to do it. I went to Edwin Watts to get fitted new set of irons and after the salesmen taking an hour to approach me, one of them finally did and said that their two electronic bays for measuring club speed, etc. were down all day and the best time to get there to be fitted for clubs was in the morning. (I was there at 1p.m.). Ugh, what in the hell is going on there? Basically, if you are from out of town and not someone they know, I guess just buy your clubs online....or go to the location in Metairie to get fitted.

Time and time again Rick and Taylor go above and beyond to provide the highest levels of solutions and customer service, so I always buy all of my golf equipment from this store. They take the time to get my exact fit and specifications each time I need something, which isnt always easy, so I urge anyone and everyone to visit them for any and all golf needs.

I like Edwin Watts and the older gentleman at the Baton Rouge store, but had arguably the worst customer service experience in a decade today, in any store, when trying to buy a driver. The older gentleman wasn’t there and the young staff guy was just rude. We drove in from St Francisville because of past service experiences that we’re stellar; today was very disappointing.

When you go there ask for Paul Christmann, he takes his time, gets to know his customers & honestly cares about your experience. When I go, I only deal with Mr. Paul

This store is a total joke.. I walked in to buy a set of Titleist 716 AP1 irons. Not only was I ignored by one employee who was standing around practice putting, but 2 additional employees who were doing absolutely nothing also ignored my presence. After walking around the store for roughly 15 minutes, I STILL didnt have a single employee ask if I could be helped, but rather continued to shoot the breeze with each other about nonsense. The employees act with this elitist mentality while working and obviously dont care about making sales or their customers. Perhaps if the employees worked on commission, theyd have some incentive to talk to customers, rather than ignore them. Fact: You work at a retail store, which are suffering in todays market. You are the precise reason online retail is forcing stores like yours to close. I will continue to tell everyone I know how pathetic of a store you run. P.s. Congrats on losing a $1000 sale.
