Took my daughters frames to get new lenses and was told a week at the most and now its 3 weeks and I call and was told they will call the Lab.. I asked what is taking so long and again Im told we can call the Lab then I said that would be nice considering she is struggling in school without her glasses and I got an uh huh okay yup uh huh rude much? Used to be a decent place but I will go elsewhere after the glasses come in. Maybe after a week and glasses havent came in then you should call the Lab and a patient to give an update instead of waiting for a patient to call after 3 weeks. Very disappointed and I bet I still wont get a call letting me know when they will be in. Smh π
Dr. Kakade and her entire staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about every aspect of my appointment. Dr. Kakadeβs appointment procedure is thorough, so nothing is missed. She makes sure all your concerns are met and that your prescription is accurate before you leave. She explains everything you need to know. Their prices are good after insurance. Gave me all the time in the world and all the space to pick out glasses. I tried on a lot and they never complained. They are upfront about costs and what they are for.
Little touchy bout the face cover (mask) but all in all it was a good experience. Very quick, no wait at all. The actual glasses have not arrived yet, they can take 2 weeks to come in. Hopefully I wont have to adjust the number of stars.
I went Iβm on a Monday for my appointment for new glasses, was told it would be two weeks before my glasses would be in, two days later received a call my glasses were in. I was very impressed.
The employees are all very professional and helpful. Dr. Kakade is very friendly and very thorough. I will definitely go back again.

Dr. Brown is very knowledgeable and patient! I truly appreciate how he takes time to explain every detail of the procedures he is conducting, and will answer any questions you may have right then and there! The Staff are very courteous, friendly, personable, and professional and I just love going to the Bay City office; which is also locally convenient for me! : )

This place is wanting my husband to pay more for glasses that were too small for him. They should of fitted the frames to fit him not the other way around! My husband is not an optometrist, they need to do their job and fit people with correct frames. Now they are giving me the run around. And we still have no glasses! Very unsatisfied!

I am currently working near Bay City and my glasses broke so I called this location to see if they could help me. They told me to come on in and they would get me fixed right up. I explained how this was an emergency situation and they told me they would put a Double rush on it and have them in 5 to 7 days. Due to my prescription being expired I had to have an exam as well. I was patient and waited until the 7th day to call and check the status. I called throughout the day and kept being told the manager would call me back in 5 minutes. Over two weeks went by and I finally got the call they were ready. By this time I was in Houston getting ready for vacation but I drove the two hours to pick them up then drove the two hours back to Houston. The prescription was wrong and I went to the Mann Eye in Humble to get rechecked. They confirmed my prescription was wrong and had to send my glasses back to Bay City location so they could send them back to the lab. It has been over a month and I still have no glasses. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have used TSO for years and never experienced anything like this with them and the longest I have ever waited for glasses is 5 days and always had the prescription right the FIRST time.

Amazing customer service ! Had something come up on the day of my appt and wasnβt going to make it on time they kindly asked me if I wanted it at a later time and said yes right away! Once I arrived I was taken care of right away once I had the prescription the opticians showed me all the new frame arrivals and fell in love with the new glasses I ordered ! Iam one happy customer !!!
My daughter was given eye drops to dilate her eyes and wasnt given the numbing drops first,my only complaint is that she should have been given numbing drops because her eyes were burning and was her vision was blurry for 2 days after.

Horrible. Tried to dialate my eyes without telling me luckily they only got one cause I was by myself and had to drive. Have had corrective lenses for both eyes for years and now they said I only need one corrective lens. Rude and didnβt listen when I was speaking.
If you can go somewhere else, please do so. Very rude customer service. Lady on the phone setting up the appointment wouldnt listen to the information I was giving her and was speaking over me. At the end of the call I cancelled my appointment.
