Nicole was great to work with. Showed me around till i found the furniture i absolutely love!I may have left my review too soon. Since i left the store the day i picked out my furniture, the sales person has no reached out one bit about anything. Being a person in sales i understand follow up and how important it is. Ive had some small issues that management has helped resolve. The sales person has not reached out to make sure everything was taken care of. After delivery i still havent herd from her. I was suppose to received a VIP gift and i have herd nothing. I spend about $4000 on my purchase and it seems as if now that it is said and done the care is gone because the sale is made!

Amanda did an excellent job of helping us find what we we’re looking for. We ended up leaving with everything we needed and very happy customers. The financial transaction was quick as opposed to very lengthy ones we’ve experienced in the past at other businesses. And we were able to pick up what we purchased the next day.

The sales staff was incredibly patient and helpful in finding us what we were looking for within our budget. The sales staff were very personable and even went above and beyond to call another store for bed measurements that had one on hand. They were not pushy in trying to sell more or have us spend more like some retailers. We actually ended up making two purchases in two days and will definitely return.

Salesman (Alex) took his time and answered questions, removed a leaf from a dining table I was interested in and measured it with and without the leaf. Courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Great selection and prices.

Bought an onsale recliner had to wait 2 3 days for it to come in. Thats why 4 stars. Figured you should have a sale item on hand. No big deal though I dont live far away and I love the recliner. Great price. Salesman was fast efficient probably took 30 min to pick out and pay for my purchase. Pickup took 15 min. Great experience.

Our visit to Art Van in Bay City, Mich. Was a nice visit. Our sales man was Kurt G. He was very nice and took us right where a display of TV stand we ended up buying. He did mention he has only worked there for a month, but if he wouldnt have told us that we would have thought he worked there for years. He was very knowledgeable with displays and fast on the computer. He had us leaving with such a great experience there. Thanks Kurt!!!

My friend & I had the best sales rep ever. Kyle was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He checked in with us periodically but did not hang out over our shoulders. He showed us options, answered questions on a lay-away plan, and worked to give us best prices.Very positive experience. I wound up with a couple great purchases & will definitely go back when looking for more goodies for my living space!

Nice people and a great store. Very helpful staff and was patient to answer my questions as I was a first time furniture buyer. Really liked Valerie. The staff does check in with you multiple times when you are looking around, which depending on who you are, may be annoying. They are probably bored and wanting to make sure you dont need assistance, but it can come across as hovering to some people. I had a great experience and would recommend buying from this store.

I had a great experience at Art Van today (Bay City). I worked with Nicole who was very pleasant & not at all pushy. She was helping me find the best deal for my money when I said I actually want to look around the store a little more. She let me just browse and wasn’t on my back (which is what I like) but was available when I had questions. For her it was a better deal because I left with a purchase was Not in the clearance center! I’m going to love this purchase for years to come!

I liked the salesperson, Steve, but I was not too impressed with the attitude of the young man at the loading dock. This is okay though as I am sure that job gets old and I can brush this off. Anyhow, the table we ordered is a nice table, but it was missing 8 bolts. I was not thrilled that I had to make multiple attempts to get these bolts, but in the end Ive got to give a positive rating as Steve did the right thing and took care of me. Also, the lady assisting him (I wish I got the name) was nice and very apologetic. Really, if it wasnt for Steve and lady assisting him, I would not return. However, they cared enough that I will do business with them again in the future.

They were rather helpful and answered all of my questions. Was able to get in and get out with my purchase without too much time being wasted. Some of their stuff can be quite pricey even on sale but overall not a bad place to look if you need furniture. And much less likely to give you bed bugs than buying used furniture.

My fiance and I went to Art Van looking for an electric recliner/rocker on Sunday, 5/5/19. Salesperson Kim went above and beyond our expectations to make us happy campers. She looked for different colors and styles and found a recliner that suited us to a T and also set up a quick delivery, which is what we needed. We will definitely shop again at Art Van.

Always bought thinking we was getting quality until they went under. $2500 couch is falling apart in less than a year, but no warranty now... Sad, writing this sitting on the old couch in the basement that is over 8 years old and holding up... Service is the only reason I give a star

Art Van associates are quick to make the sale and lead you to believe they stand behind their product(s). Service after the sale leaves a lot to be desired. The sales person said he would personally take care of any problem. When a problem arose and I went to him for assistance, his comment was”I am not service” and pointed to the 800 number in my invoice. I am now left to fend for myself.

I was there yesterday and sat on a few chairs couches and love seats and I have itchy spots on my inside of my knees down my legs and on my arms BEWARE!!! im no professional but they could have bedbugs or dirty stuff not sure but I have bunches of dots on my arms and legs thought everyone should know

New mattress: salesperson, nice, knowledgeable. Selected mattress, went home, looked up on Art Van Website: $300 cheaper, total then down to $3,100. They accepted that price. Delivery was sooner than promised, quick without problems.

This is the worst place to buy furniture!! We purchase a couch with power recliner and a recliner chair in 2015. The chair left arm has been broken from the time it was delivered it just hangs. The couch had a seam pull at part in early 2016 the technician that came to repair said that the fabric was cut to short they all said that they fixed the arm on the chair which only lasted a few days.We have had them out at lease once year since. We both work full time I have to take a day off work to have them come. So I don’t call every time something little happens. The sale people need to explain that the Complete 5 year warranty is not a complete 5 year warranty. We have purchased all of our furniture at art van for over 28 years. Sorry to say it will be the last time and We will make that none of our grown children will never purchase anything from Art van. I work in a service industry I will tell all of my clients to stay away. I will continue to write reviews on here and any other websites I can fined. My husband see going to put this on Facebook.

If I could give zero stars for Art Van and this store, I would. We have purchased foolishly twice from this store (our first sectional couch broke down after about 3 years). Decided to give them another try and purchased 2 new sofas---and after a year, the one couch middle seat completely caved in, and the arm of the couch came completely detached from the sofa---the funny thing is, we actually never sit in the middle part of the sofa (since it is a recliner), and we both work full-time and do not have children, so its not as though they get a ton of wear and tear. Because we bought the 5-year warranty, they took the sofa and fixed it---OK great. But then, 6 months later, the second couch arm now has become completely detached---have tried 2 times now to call Art Van to have it fixed ( since when we bought the sofas, we bought the supposed 5-year warranty---they told us in the store that if anything happened to the couch that they would fix it)...they tell us that it is not covered in the warranty, but they fixed it with the first couch. I will never buy from Art Van again, and tell everyone I know looking to purchase furniture to save their money and go elsewhere...they have terrible quality furniture, and they do not stand behind their warranties...beware buyers!!!

Customer Service is a 5/5! I am a very indecisive person and they were very patient with me. It took me four different times going to the store before deciding what I wanted. I never felt pressured by a salesperson that I needed to make a decision and purchase from them. They were very willing to answer any questions, but not pressure me into a decision to make a sale.I have not owned my furniture long enough to say it is going to last “forever”, but it appears to have high quality to it and they have awesome warranties you can purchase if you are nervous about anything! Very, very satisfied!

7 months ago I purchased 2 really nice rocking recliner, I paid extra for the fabric protection and delivery. I had to wait for my chairs, what I believe to get sprayed. One month after I paid for them, they were delivered. During the next 6 months I had to call art van for repairs on both chairs, for a total repairs 4, on the same problem. Called kyle several times, he said he would call back after he spoke to his boss. 2 weeks later I called again only to talk with someone else and she said there wasnt any messages left for his boss. Now know one is calling me back and theres no order to fix the chairs and Christmas is in 2 weeks with my family is coming and I have 2 chairs that cant be used. I went there because I thought it was a good place to buy furniture. They take your money and leave you with broken chairs, and the fabric protection I paid for, now they dont spray them anymore so if you have a spill you have to call the store to get a appointment for someone to come out to clean it or wipe it. What a waste of money!

We have always shopped at the Art Van furniture store in Saginaw. However on this particular day, we ended up at the Art Van in Bay City. As we looked around we noticed an item that gave us interest. We were greeted by the Store clearance center Manager (Carlos). After some discussion on the item, we came to an agreement on price. Carlos was excellent to work with, his personal service was greatly appreciated and We must say that our experience was leaps and bounds better than we expected. In comparison to the Saginaw store, we will now do our business in Bay City, thanks to Carlos and Oscar.T. Lawson

Ive had a lot of good buying experiences here, often buying clearance products for less than they are asking and love decorating my home with them. My most recent purchase this past weekend was in by Tuesday. The couch fabric did have an one inch tear on the seam and was sloppily stapled together while the rest was fantastic. I contacted them that night and they have scheduled a repair professional to come to my house to fix it next week. No costs (of course), and it doesnt affect my warranty. I also enjoy that the warranty will be reimbursed at the end of the year if not used :)

Buy the warranty, Ive had to send my couch in for repair twice now in less than a year. Im less than impressed at this point. The price indicates quality, but the craftsmanship doesnt. Ill shop elsewhere in the future.

My wife and I have been contemplating purchasing a new couch and love seat or recliner for awhile now. The day we walked into the store we just started shopping and trying to decide what we actually wanted. Herb greeted us as we entered the store and introduced us to Joshua. Both were very professional and eager to help us. We informed them we werent sure we would purchase that day, and asked to look around as to not waste their time. Once Joshua noticed we were hovering around a certain selection he approached us to answer any questions and give us out the door numbers. At that time they do offer additional fabric protection and warranties that do have a great benefit, but I passed on them because I am cheap! haha Overall, it was an easy-going stress free buying experience. We elected to pick up the furniture ourselves to save a little $$$, so I have yet to see how the rest of the process will go.

I don’t think they even deserve a star. We have been dealing with poor quality furniture, every piece was delivered damaged! Then they try to replace the items and those are damaged. Plus we had to go through three mattresses to get one without stains, dirt or messed up stitching.So we go back to get furniture that will actually last and takes 8-10 weeks to make. We finally get the phone call that it will be delivered......All of the pieces so far off he truck look great. Then they are missing a piece. The sales guy put in the wrong item number. Plus we don’t have a box spring either.All I have to say is this place does not know what they are doing. Now we have to wait another 8-10 weeks before we could get out entire bedroom put together. It is a waist of time. Never going back. Sticking with the small town furniture stores.
