Where to start.. Went to pick up my car only to find broken glass still in my seats, center console and door, everyone was rushing to leave and asked them to revaccuum, it was less then a Minute the guy comes back and says he’s done, yet there’s still glass again, they said it must have been hard to get out.. I pointed at the very clearly not even looked at spots.. whatever I’ll clean it myself when I leave.. if I can leave, nope, battery is dead.. guy said it must have been my battery, yet it had no issues prior.. and last but not least my inspection sticker is beyond destroyed.. I just hope my windshield doesn’t fly off on the way home.. maybe I got the new guy? Regardless, final thoughts.. very unsatisfied AVOID

Good service. Jus wish I did not see the pebble on the windshield. They mentioned that, but I was praying it wouldnt as seen on youtube. But if u need any repairs on your windshield they are good.

Here is the service I got from this business. I brought my car in for glass replacement last Sat. They had not checked the glass theyd received from the warehouse, they only discovered when my car was there that there was a chip in it, it broke during stress test. They told me theyd do everything possible to reschedule me for today, Mon. Today they called and offered me an appoint TEN DAYS from now, and would not offer anything earlier despite the rescheduling being due to their screwup. So long folks.

Not professional at all broke my fiancé’s car every time he brings it in both his mustang AND his Mazda they owe us 25$ to replace the dash camera wire they LITERALLY CUT IN HALF

Replaced the glass in shorter time than expected. This location was much better than the other that tried to repair the windshield.

The company ordered the wrong windshield.

Replaced my windshield my rain sensing wipers sensor wasnt installed properly, had to come back 3 times for warranty service for them to fix it. Came off again so now I have to go to Mazda to fix it as Im through wasting hours every other week waiting for them and bringing the car back. Mazda said SafeLite put tape on my sensors and they had no clue what they were doing. Sensor was therefore broken because the double sided tapes adhesive is stuck in the sensor. Now I have to pay Mazda like $300 to fix this. Absolute hack job will NEVER go back to SAFELITE EVER AGAIN. Picture of the sensor attached, you can see it literally hanging in the compartment...

My overall experience was fantastic. All of the staff were professional and courteous. They were spot on with the time estimated to complete the work. My service technician, Rob, did an excellent job installing my new windshield and wiper blades. It has been 48 hours since installation, everything looks and works perfectly. I couldnt be more pleased.

4 stars as they were very helpful and nice as always. A fifth star would have been given if they did a better job on our chipped windshield. Last few they did were almost completely gone. This chip is still there. Still would recommend them!

Got an appointment same day and got my windshield fixed faster than the estimated time, was in and out in 40 mins! Great staff.

I do hate that phrase a whole new level, but sometimes it is entirely appropriate. The technician (James) was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and personable. Even when issues arose (none of his doing) they were dealt with properly and succinctly. Hats of to a job well done!

Fortunately I was at work all day because the technician had trouble at an earlier appointment. He was keeping me up to date as to his status in the later portion of the service window time. It was extremely hot outside, but he finished the job timely and the windshield replacement turned out as expected.

Most unprofessional service I’ve ever received. Took a day off work for a mobile appointment, which I waited over a week for .They showed up with the wrong windshield (their mistake) and then wanted me to reschedule for another week later. Oh, and did I mention driving over my reseeded lawn?? even though it was clearly marked with flags.All worked out in the end, as I went to the service center for my vehicle dealership, and ended up getting everything done with no hassle at 54% of the quote from Safelite.

My window has been broken for over a week now. They have given me the run around since day one. They said they would come the next day and repair my window. They then called the next morning saying they didnt have the window in stock and it would take a few days. A few days passed and I didnt hear anything from them. I called and they said that the manufacturer doesnt have any windows for my car and it would take a few months to get a window. How am I supposed to wait a few months?! I asked for a temporary window and they agreed but said they would not come to me because they are too busy and that I have to bring the car to them. I said fine because I need a window but, they are still giving me the run around and wont give me a time to bring the car in. I am extremely annoyed over this! Very poor customer service

Made the appointment a week ago, I get a call 2 hours into my “appointment slot” they won’t have the part for another week. Won’t do business with them again

A different glass company screwed up the installation in multiple ways, damaged the paint on my vehicle, and then continued to screw it up and damage more paint upon being given a chance to fix their mistake. After I finally had the paint repaired, I took the Jeep to Safelite to have them install the window properly, as the seal used by the other company was squeezing out onto the dashboard and looked horrible. Safelite did a wonderful and quick job, they replaced the glass carefully without damaging my vehicle, and they made the seal look as good as the factory job without the urethane being visible. Wish Id gone to them first, would have saved me three weeks of repairs and headaches. In addition, Safelite helped by contacting the original glass company and getting them to cover the repairs that were necessary as a result of their incompetence. Safelite really DID IT RIGHT.

YMMV, but a 30 minute wait quickly turned into a 60+ minute wait for me. Dont expect miracles for chip repairs...the windshield may be more structurally sound when theyre done, but that chip is still going to be visible.

I am an agent and I will never refer this fly by night company again, they had an appt and failed to call and cancel the appt with the client, when they rescheduled they brought the wrong windshield. Use Active Auto or any other glass company DO NOT USE SAFELITE!

This local Safelite store in Bay Shore, NY replaced my windshield on November 21, 2018. I was pulled over the other day and the Police noted that my inspection sticker showed VOID. Lo and behold I found out first-hand that when this sticker is removed from its original windshield, this is what happens. Safelite provides such repairs daily, and en masse. Wouldnt a simple notation of this prior to service (or even during the process) be helpful to the customer? Fast forward to December 17th, 2018 when I called Safelite, who put me in touch with the above noted store who replaced my windshield (Safelite, 1782 Union Blvd, Bay Shore, NY). I spoke with Henry, who told me to send it to the DMV and get a replacement. I was not about to wait a week, or two, or longer for the process and needed to get my car re-inspected immediately to avoid a summons or potential towing of my vehicle. Henry verbally stated that they would reimburse me for the full $37.00 re-inspection cost. Per his request, I e-mailed him. I then e-mailed him again (both with attachments of the receipt and old “VOID” inspection sticker. After two days of non-response, I called him this morning, only for him to tell me that the store was not going to reimburse me. I immediately called Safelites corporate offices, who were very polite and will be reimbursing me for the $37.00 inspection. Kudos to Safelite Corporate (Ashely and Charmaine), thumbs down for the local store in Bay Shore, NY. If you are going this route, just make sure they dont send someone from the Bay Shore, NY store!!

I had a 11 oclock appointment and at 1125 when nobody said anything I calmly asked what was the purpose of an appointment when Im sitting here waiting without even a word from anyone.Then the technician was very rude and yelling and refused to work on my car even when his boss told him too.Finally after my truck ran outside for another 15 minutes someone started the work. Not even a apology even after speaking to the owner. Not a way to earn peoples business.
