Wonderful experience here! Had a tire pressure gauge light on after having a tire replaced after a flat. The sensors were reset with an inspection of the car I had done after the tire was changed, but still the check pressure light was on.Firestone got me in RIGHT on time at my appt time, checked all the tires and two were off! One too high, one too low. Adjusted the air on those, reset the sensors again, and thankfully that was it! No issues with the TPM sensor after the tire change which was my fear.Didnt charge (regular customer) me, and was on my way without the light in less than 10min. Wow, thanks again guys!
Came last Thursday, guy in the front desk said come after 2 hours and they supposed to call me. Nobody call me next 2 hours and after I came he said - sorry we have no place for you now come at 6pm. Are you serious? I was waiting 2 hours for nothing. Now you have to change my oil for free
I caught a flat and was stranded, and whole crew at this location embraced me like I was their brother! From the store leader Eric, to all of his employees everyone was amazing! Unfortunately, I could not get a tire that second due to the size of the tire, but the crew assured me I can leave my car overnight, and return the following day and would not have any worries. I returned the following day and Eric, Julio, and Igor assured that they would fix my car fast and they did! Julio and Igor- I dont know where to start, they were nothing less than amazing, also these gentlemen know their cars! I do want to applaud Eric on his store. The minute you walk in, all of his staff are pleasant, well mannered and amazing customer service skills in addition the staff Eric has is a full representation of diversity!! This store should be a leading symbol of modern day America and what great customer service is ALL ABOUT! THANK YOU SO MUCH ERIC, JULIO, AND IGOR! YOU ARE THE BEST!!
Boyfriend’s mom took 2 cars to get inspected here and they got the two cars confused for one another and had to redo all the paperwork weeks later, wasting everyone’s time.Update: I’m currently watching a mechanic perform an alignment on my sisters car with a torch and a pipe wrench. I am incredibly certain that he is either straight out of mechanics school or generally unqualified.There’s also customer keys left on the showroom counter with no one in the room to watch them. They’re literally right up for someone to snatch and run
Went in for an oil change and when I got home they didnt replace my old oil filter with a new one.And on top of that they over filled my engine with an extra couple quarts of oil which is not healthy for your motor at all.And if all that wasnt enough I have on my dash cam a video of the mechanic on a video chat with someone on there phone while working on my truck....

I’ve been going to Firestones across the country and truth be told their service is always been subpar. The only reason I go to Firestone is because of my lifetime tire rotation and alignment. This location is hands down the best Firestone I’ve been to. I received an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. They were quick and really helpful! I did go early so as to beat the rush, but I would highly, highly, recommend this Firestone.

My car needed tires, alignment, brakes and a muffler system to get inspected.They did everything but the brakes. All of the work they completed was excellent and car is perfect now.Also, they were honest and told me what had to be fixed with the brakes to pass inspection. My brother did the brakes at home. I returned with the car and it passed inspection.They were very fair and my car drives and runs like new now.I felt the cost was reasonable and fair and It was professionally repaired.The store manager and employees were honest,nice, and helpful.Car: 2011 Nissan

Impressively dishonest. Left my Jeep there for an inspection and to remove nails in my tires. They claimed to have removed the nails, but when I got home I still saw them. Went back again for them to remove the nails and they still missed two nails.On a side note, when my Jeep had overheated they claimed I needed a new radiator and thermostat and tried to charge me $700! WHAT!? Looked at it myself. Turns out I just needed coolant. WOW. It’s a shame, they used to be my go to, but this has left a bad taste in my mouth. Goodbye, Firestone.
Had tire blowout close by, drove there, they replaced my tire in about two hours which is amazing considering they were busy.

Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust and that will be honest with you. The manager Eric is an amazing, helpful, and knowledgeable man. He will go out of his way to help you and make sure you are happy. I continue to go back here because of his great customer service skills. I tend to get stressed easily over anything that happens with my car, but because of Eric I feel much better with my car in his care.
The technician who changed the oil on my car left the cover that goes over the oil pan. I found out 2 months later when I went to the dealership. I contacted Firestone and 2 weeks later they purchased a new one for my car . The manager was excellent and couldn’t apologize enough . A mistake that was corrected immediately.

If I could give them ONLY ONE star it would be too much.I made an appointment 4 days in advance to buy 4 new tires from Firestone of Bay Shore NY.I had to take the day off from work and lose a days pay to get the tires installed. But I arranged it!On the very day of the appointment they called me to tell me that they were too busy to honor the appointment and to perform the work and that I would have to accept an appointment for another day somewhere in the following week.This is unacceptable!I lost the days pay and I did not get my tires from them!My advice to you, if you are planning to make any appointments with Firestone of Bay Shore is to forget about them and seek out another auto tire shop.They are UNDEPENDABLE.Take it from me, I will NEVER make an appointment with Firestone of Bay Shore OR other Firestone shop again!There are PLENTY of other reputable auto shops in Suffolk whom I have dealt with in the past and they will get my business from now on!I AM FOREVER FINISHED WITH FIRESTONE!If you are smart you will NOT become involved with them or you most likely will be treated like trash as I was!P.S. I wouldnt be a bit surprised if the favorable reviews here are written by Firestone employees along with the Firestone management to drum up business! In reality their service stinks!Go there and find out for yourself!
This place used to be good place and I could trust them with the job they do. lately I have been experiencing that they are not providing good customer service and not doing there job right,, they are only interested in selling you more services that you dont need. keep recommending service and parts that is not necessary at all. oil change job they dont entertain and made me wait almost 6 hours even though I had schedule an appointment on my day off same day after I took my car from oil change it was leaking.not happy, not going there back again.

I worked in this store when Firestone corporate took it over from an independent who was there for 30 years and served the community. The manager who hired me insisted I sell anything I could, not caring if the customer was being ripped off, He only cared about his bonus. One day after he insisted I sell a brake job which was not needed I decided to quit. At closing I put the days receipts in safe, locked doors, set alarms and left a note saying I would not work in a ripoff store. I later found out the manager removed some expensive equipment and attempted to blame me, even going to the police. Other managers told me the police did not believe him and told him no money was taken I had no record and they would not pursue it. Thankfully the police saw thru this guy. reading these reviews I see nothing has changed in this store.

I been bringing my cars here for many years. Years ago this place was good. Dont get me wrong Im not saying that is cheap. Is actually very pricy but they usually took good care of my car, and on a good time frame, the costumer service was also good. The last two years its been very bad. I have paid for lifetime service when I got the car in the first time, thats why I still go there. But service is bad and the wait time is ridiculous, I asked how longer I would have to wait until my car was brought in for the oil change, and I was told like 4 to 6 more hours. The representative was serious, thats when I ask for my car keys, he said oh no your car is next, well literatelly? They not only have bad expensive and late service, they also have no respect for the costumers.

Worst place in history. My wife got a flat tire right in front of there store. So she goes inside to have it plugged with my 15 month old son in her hands. Makes her wait at the counter for 5 minutes before acknowledging she was even there. After he finally got all her info they bring the car in for 20 minutes on the lift before they come in to tell her that they wont plug the tire because its went into the sidewall and because its AND u need to replace all 4 tires. So she asked to see the tire to find out that it didnt go into the side wall. She told him that she has a northern set of rims and tires at home 2 miles away and she would like if he can just plug it. Again he said Im not touching that tire. So she calls me up if have been a mechanic for 12 yrs shows me the pic and tells me the story. She calls triple A has her car towed to another show and they plug the tire with no problem and tells her that this Firestone will do anything to ur car unless they sell u something. And according to all these reviews he wasnt lieing. This place has the worst counter person and mechanics I have ever seen.
Got an inspection done here and they actually just did the inspection without calling me 25 times trying to get more out of me. Normally, wherever you have it done you get the infamous windshield wiper call LOL. This is that call where they tell you the wipers have a tear and must be replaced at $45/ea which is more than a top of the line set at auto zone. They were honest with me and told me a few things were wrong that the dealership where i bought it seemed to have overlooked just a week prior to the inspection probably because im under warranty. But regardless that showed me these guys actually have integrity and do the right work instead of being a theif and creating unnecessary expenses.
I bring both my cars there. Eric and staff are great, know me by name and give me the coupon discount for service, whether I had it or not. Car is in and out and they let you know whats going on, and if it is a must do now or it can wait but will need attention
I had dropped my car off this past Saturday morning at 9:56 am (according to my receipt) to have my AC fixed, a bulb replaced, and my rear view mirror remounted. Now, keep in mind I only went back to them because of how amazing they were over the winter when my window crapped out in the freezing cold, so I figured why not give them repeat business plus they’re open Sundays (my usual guy at Valero isn’t open Sundays). When I dropped it off, I told them they can keep it for as long as they need (meaning, that particular day, I didn’t need it back by any certain time since I know Saturday’s are busy and I’m not in a rush to get it back). My husband and I go about our business, and by mid-afternoon I hadn’t heard anything, so I decided to call. They said they’ll call me when it’s ready (keep in mind they close at 6 on Saturday’s). Whelp, I get a call at 6:00 saying they hadn’t gotten the adhesive and gave me the rundown of the AC issue. The actual technician that could give me more details wouldn’t be until the next day, but at that point it would be AT LEAST $1200. I’m looking to get a new car soon anyway, plus I only use my car to drive the two minutes to the train station and back, so I was going to tell them just focus on the mirror and light and call it a day. I don’t get a call the next day from the tech giving me the whole rundown and I explained that I didn’t see the point in spending that amount of money (because besides the compressor, there was other things apparently that needed fixing, plus running all the tests). He said think it over and call back tomorrow (Monday), plus he was STILL waiting for the adhesive and probably wouldn’t get it until Monday morning anyway (I’m thinking where the hell is this coming from, Guam?!). I called them early Monday morning to tell them I am NOT fixing the AC, just do the mirror and the light, and I will be there between 6-7:00pm to get the car. I got there about 6:30ish with my husband and notice right away, the mirror isn’t on the car! We were not happy, obviously. When I told the guy at the desk (Jon) that I’m there for my car, he goes to tell the guy and as I’m waiting, he comes back to take care of three other people, then disappears outside. My husband looks outside AND THEY ARE NOW ONLY WORKING ON THE MIRROR AND THE LIGHTBULB!!! It was closing time and I am STILL waiting for a car that had been there for two days that could’ve had the mirror and lightbulb taken care of at that point!! So I played dumb while he was ringing me up, asking when did the adhesive arrive and he goes, “Today, but the guy I wanted to have do it got swamped.” 🙄 When he tells me the total, I asked if this was for the lightbulb and the adhesive kit, he says it’s for the lightbulb and AC diagnostic. Okay fine, but then the other guy in the garage says there wasn’t enough adhesive in the kit and the mirror isn’t sticking (keep in he was using the rear view mirror mounting kit so it HAD to have enough adhesive)....I ended up leaving with no rear view mirror. He conveniently attached to my receipt the breakdown of what the AC would cost ($1600 by the way), but then I noticed $12 for “small labor” and then $25 for rear view mirror installation! THEY LITERALLY CHARGED MEFOR SOMETHING THEY DID LAST MINUTE AND SOMETHING THEY COULDN’T EVEN DO!!! I called Firestone and explained everything and wanted the charge reversed, but they couldn’t do that however they can call the store on my behalf tomorrow since the receipt will be in their system in Tennessee (I felt bad yelling at the guy but I was frustrated). So guess who will be ranting on the phone tomorrow explaining how unsatisfied I am with their service!! Never going back, lesson learned. (Btw, the receipt shows you the time you dropped off and time you picked up: I dropped it off 9:56am 6/29 and left 7:16pm Monday...I’m just in disbelief).
Terrible! How can anyone go here? I ordered a tire, the guy, Eric, who states we dont accept orders when we arent called first refused my order but still made an 8:30 am appt to put the tire he didnt have on my car. Then let me go there and wait 20 minutes to find out he refused the order. Great service youre running, nasty attitude and terrible practice, this place wont be in business long.
Went there had an allignment and balance done then few days later steering wheel shake came back and they basically said would have to pay again for what I already paid for the first time. Wow. Nice. Please nobody deal with them they will screw you ....

WORST place ever to bring a car. If theyre not making any money they wont help you. went to bring my car in for a photo inspection. waited for awhile then service guy was playing with machine then claims machine doesnt work. so you tell me the entire store only have 1 machine that does photo inspection? thats terrible I would never go back to this place again. rookie staff, rookie mechanics. horrible service!!!
Brought my cargo van in for 4 New tires, my husband and his friend did front end work on the van on Sunday. There was no damage to anything under the Van. The Van was there for an hour before I recieved a call telling me the van was leaking gas and the gas tank was punctured. My husband went to look at the tank, the tank was clean except where the hole was, that was greasy and had grim on it, they refused to acknowledge that it was even possible that they damaged the van. The manager Eric was extremely rude and unprofessional. When our other friend came home who also worked on the van looked at the tank he said they prayed undercoat on the tank to try and cover up their mistake. Do not take your cars there, total scam artists!!!
They are a bunch of rip off they say they do the work and it turns out they didnt do anything on your and want to charge u a arm and a leg. i would avoid going there, the give mechanic shop a terrible name.

This place does not know the meaning of the Firestone Fixed Right Guarantee at all. 2 years and thousands of dollars gone and nothing has been fixed. They try to sell you things your car doesnt need. Whether youre dealing with Eric or Matt the experience is the same. Loud and defensive. Service is so bad youll want to call Firestone HQ

Don’t get your car inspected here if you have any type of tint on your window whether it is light or dark. They can visibly see the tints on your car.. but will take it and service it anyway then tell you that you failed and still have to pay because a new law requires no tints of any kind in NYC. Instead of telling you this beforehand to save you the time and money. SCAMMERS!

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST. I tried to order 4 tires that had to come from the warehouse, a jerk named Matt was supposed to take care of it, screwed it up, and never called me. I had to call 5 times, i finally gave up and went to Mavis. They got me the tires the next day, no hassle. It seemed like i was annoying Matt because i wanted to buy 4 new tires..What a bunch of incompetent morons...
