I am not a person to write reviews but I’ve been really holding back with how rude the managers and one employee by the name of “Joan” is. I always shop peacefully and every now and then I may have a few problems with the machines and some coupons not showing up. I’m always very kind and respectful when trying to ask for help to resolve the problem but, I always receive a nasty attitude in return. They really need to check their managers and that employee because it’s no wonder this location has many 1 star reviews always complaining about managers and how they treat their customers! It’s part of their job to help others in need but everytime someone asks for help they always disengage and have the worst attitudes on the planet!
The pharmacy at this CVS is constantly understaffed and I’ve had so many negative experiences here. I switched to a local pharmacy last year, but used CVS today as a last resort. Never, ever again.

I have never written a review before but this one is worth it. On Saturday 5/23/20 between 12:45 and 1:15 pm I was picking up a prescription for my son and an employee was helping me when a lady came in, and I assume she was the manager because she talked like she had some kind of authority over everyone. She was yelling at the employees and the customers about social distancing even though we were all 6 feet apart and wearing masks. You could see how intimidated and embarrassed her coworkers were. Even though they were only six people inside the waiting area for prescriptions she got mad and told everyone to leave and come back in 10 to 15 minutes or “whatever.” She told me specifically to leave even though I was being helped by one of the pharmacists. I said I couldn’t leave without my insurance card and I asked if they would call me or email me when my turn was up. She said “come back in 10 or 15 minutes or whatever”. So I did come back in 10 to 15 minutes and she was still yelling and intimidating her coworkers. She also intimidated me and a couple of other customers but I ignored her. She should be thankful that she is still employed unlike others during this pandemic and stop taking advantage of her position. Sadly I did not grab her name but I hope this is enough information.
OMG!!! I do not usually take the time to do this, but I am so angry that I dont know what else to do. I have been on hold for over 1 hour to speak to someone in the pharmacy. Frustrated, I then called the store and asked for the store manager and they told me that the pharmacy has their own manager Ryan and that I would need to speak to him. They would transfer me to him. Still on hold now 20 minutes. This is completely unacceptable. I will have all my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. This is AWFUL!! How do you run a department that does not answer the phone?? I am giving it 1 star because it will not post my comments without giving it something.
I normally don’t like to leave reviews, but I’m very disappointed in how the CVS interacted with me over a photos. They used to be good but there is bad costumer service. That’s all I’ll say.... Please improve. Thank you.
The pharmacists dont care about you or your problems.. You are a number, this is probably the worst experience from any pharmacy Ive ever had. If you are going here good luck, otherwise find another place youll thank yourself.
Definitely 0 STAR!... March 16th 2020 7:30PM Store is not busy, I need help to find a medicine for my 3 years old son. I ask 3 times for help, answer just look around to shelf. 3 CVS employees are working front of the pharmacy shelfs. They have time to talk each other but they don’t have time to help customers. I ask them 3 times finally I complaint about them on front desk. Front desk tried to help me, I ask manager name is Terra.
Our Doctor ordered needles for my insulin, these guys sold insulin needles to me yesterday 8/8/18. It turned out that these were the wrong needles, so I decided to return the needles today 8/9/2018. These guys refused to take an unopened box. They told me that once something goes out of pharmacy, we dont take it back. When I was about to leave, I saw the expiration date on the needles. The expiration date on needles were 11/17 (November, 2017). They had to take the needles back, which worked out in my favor, but the thing to notice is: THESE GUYS SELL EXPIRED MEDICINE(s). These needles were 8 months past expiry. I highly suggest that you pick different pharmacy, and if you are stuck with these guys, make sure to read the expiration date.On top of this, the pharmacy staff was extremely rude that they started to ignore my concerns and ignore the fact that these needles were expired. The person who I was dealing with (Valencia) started yelling at me and ended up calling pharmacist who was also rude. I will never recommend this location to anyone who needs medicine.
The store itself and it’s employees are wonderful, but the pharmacy is a mess. They just let the phone ring, they don’t even bother to ever answer. There is always a huge line, but they don’t bother to have more than one person taking care of that. And if they tell you your prescription will be ready in an hour, it’s more like 3-4 hours.
On the day we are trying to decorate the house for Christmas we ran out of tree lights. We asked the manager if there was some in the back. Her response was “Yes, but there is a heavy box in front of them in the back and we are not going to move it for you. You can come back next week, maybe we will put them out by then if we get to it.” I’m new to the area and I am not accustomed to such rude, ilmanaged, and carefree employees. I will definitely not shop here.
Took over and hour getting my daughters presciptions. Very bad customer service. And they need a new production crew. People who are faster with less talking. Shouldnt have to wait this long for my daughters medicine
At the moment I’m very dissatisfied with the pharmacy service. My doctor called in a prescription to this pharmacy yesterday, and had to leave a voicemail because no one would pick up the phone. This CVS claims that they never received a voicemail. I’ve asked my doctor to send in my prescription to a different pharmacy.
Great store. Pharmacy is always busy so patience helps. Always greeted when walking in. The only CVS I use.
This store is horrible! The pharmacy is a joke especially when said person cannot read the prescription and needs to call help to read it. He actually needed glasses yet had none! They do not tell you that your script is not due to be filled. You go back I to pick it up and than they tell you that.I refuse to shop for hair dye, shampoo, cosmetics while you have to listen to a announcement that somebody will help you in a minute and they are aware of the fact that you are in the store!! The pan handlers outside are an annoyance and the men urinating on the building in full view of Main Street is a reflection on the store! Go to the East Islip store it is run like a business also helpful and friendly!
The workers followed me and my friends around the store then made us empty our pockets for absolute no reason at all when we had all of the things we were buying in our hands😭😭 terrible people.

Pharmacy wait time is straight outrageous wait time,my doctor sent prescription and I go to pharmacy literally 3 hours wait on 45 minutes on line and my prescriptions still not ready.you kidding me seriously.Please GOD tell google to allow you to give 0 stars because this corporate pharmacies are getting out of hand.Just unacceptable company feeding of people.you have 3 pick up computers use all 3 not just 1.If you do not have enough employees hire more.This pharmacy needs to fire there manager immediately.ooohh and I still waited for my meds after all that another 50 minutes,come on people.Who ever read this run from any CVS pharmacy and go support local pharmacies aleast they are friendly.
I used to work there in 2015 & let me tell u it was a living hell. The same people shop there 24/7 You may think this is good but its highly annoying. Rude customers, Barely any staff. The cashiers have to Do EVERYTHING in the store. Managers barely help. People call out 24/7 honestly if your thinking of shopping there PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Give yourself and the employees a break because they dont want to deal with you. Trust me I know them. Go to another CVS or a walgreens or something.
It is a great pharmacy, the staff always very helpful trying their best to help customers including the manager except for this employee (Debbie) not very helpful and not very customer service oriented, always finding a reason to make the customer unhappy.
