Nice beer selection and well lit. no price tags on anything though (just hope for the best!) and they charge a significant fee to use a credit card when this should be on them as a cost of doing business. credit cards have been around for decades as a convenient method of payment. now in 2021 im suddenly supposed to pay a $0.65 swipe fee to buy a four pack? ummm, no. go elsewhere.

I go to Bay Food Mart every single day. Sonny has always gone out of his way to be friendly and always has a kind word for my son as well. He even started stocking certain items at my request. The store is always clean and well-kept and a pleasure to visit every day. Thanks Sonny!

What a great place! Sonny is AWESOME! Love stopping in at a local store to pick up a couple of essential items and being greeted with a smile and polite conversation! Ive only been here two other times and Sonny actually recognized me and gave me a warm welcome! Just moved here recently and its convenient to come here for just ordinary everyday things. The staff is nice and helps you out without complaining when you have questions about anything. Sonny has also been very nice to us treating us like part of the neighborhood the very 1st day we told him about just moving here. Glad its always open early and stays open late, a big time saver when you need that 1 item without going miles away or a big chain place with tons of people.

I love Bay Food Mart!!! We shop there almost every day! Sunny and his family are wonderful people. Open till midnight, its a true asset to the neighborhood! Were always stopping up to get those last minute things we may need, cat food, eggs, soda, aspirin, butter...BFM always comes in handy! 🙂

Hidden Gem in Bay Village. The craft beer selection is the best in the area. Sonny the owner is one of the nicest guys you will meet. If there is a beer you want and he doesn’t have it he will go out of his way to try to get it. Drop on in and go see Sonny you won’t be disappointed!

Small convenience store that has gravitated increasingly towards alcohol and lottery sales in the past few years. There really isnt a great selection of much else to be had in the store - think smallish gas station store. Personally, Id recommend heading over to one of the local pharmacies unless youre looking for booze or gambling.

Remodeled recently, owner is nice. Large wine selection and fantastic location. Gave away free supplies during a 4 day power blackout.

The owner cares about your needs and wants. He has also has gone out of his way to help with anything. They make me feel most important.

Been shopping there for years. Sonny is the best at all things we need last minute when other Bay businesses are closed for wine, beer, oatmeal, milk, lacroix water, ... and on new years day we bought mimosas and pancake mix, chocolate chips... yum

I used to come here very frequently up until about 2 months ago. I bought milk for my children here and both containers of milk were expired by 2 weeks unfortunely I didn’t notice until after they drank them then I went back and informed sonny the owner and he told me the milk was fine beacuse he kept it cold and then accused me of buying it somewhere else and saying I bought it at his store even though he was the one who rang me out earlier that morning. Owner has also become very rude and makes smart remarks which is quite annoying at 6:30am when you stop in before heading to work. The conv. Store on Detriot & Center Ridge is much nicer the workers are more pleasant and has a better variety of items and it’s only 2 minutes down the street from Sonny’s store. I will be going there from here on out and suggest others on doing so as well.

Extremely suspicious and unpleasant owner who watches you as your shop and demands you leave if he doesnt like how you look.
