The shop it self is so clean! Brought my 4th gen 4runner for a transmission replacement through a 3rd party Warranty. The shop, especially Vito amazing service, straight shooter no BS. They took care of dealing with the warranty folks, diagnosed my truck real quick and got me back driving withing a week. Highly recommended and will be back.

I can’t think of anything negative to say about this place, especially Vito. He has been nothing but accommodating. This was the 4th place my car was brought to for a transmission problem. He explained what was done to the car. He even showed me how to check transmission fluids. I highly recommend this place!

I took a chance and had my transmission replaced at Borker in 2018. They did a fantastic job, provided me with a great warranty and followed up with me to ensure the job was done right.UPDATE:Since I had my transmission replaced I moved to another state. My transmission needed to be replaced again and Borker jumped right in and helped me coordinate using my warranty to get a new replacement in my new state. I can’t say enough how amazing this place is. Vito and his team have integrity and stand behind their work. If I was still in NJ, I’d keep going there for all my auto needs. Borker is amazing, high recommend them!!

I dont see why there are so many five star reviewsI had my car serviced for transfer case and rear axle repaired and the vehicle is worse than when I first brought the car in. I went back twice saying it does not drive correctly and was kept being told that nothing is wrong with it. Bringing it to another mechanic for a second opinion, because if nothing was wrong with it, I would not be complaining!!Also they will rip you off on price for parts, which I wouldnt have cared much if the car worked properly.

I had my transmission and differential repaired here on an older vehicle but Im sure it will last me another 50000 or more miles now.. excellent and i cant say enough....

I had a problem with my car and took it to my usual mechanic. After diagnosing the engine codes he informed me I had a transmission problem. He recommended two transmission places, and I chose Borker because they were local to me. Im glad I did. Vito and his team kept me informed every step of the way. I rarely had to call him because he would call me. They explained to me what they were doing or what they were planning to do. But the most important thing in my entire experience with Borker, was the complete honesty and transparency. Many times I take my car in to a service station for a $30 oil change, and they upsell me on the many repairs my car needs and I come out with an $800 bill. This did not happen with Borker Transmission. He gave me an estimate up front and the final bill did not exceed the estimate. An honest mechanic and repair shop. I did not think they existed any more.

No wonder this local shop has been in business for well over 50 years!Heres my story. The automatic transmission on my 2014 Ford Focus went bad at 105,000 miles. Unfortunately that particular transmission has many issues. Apparently, that vehicle has an automatic transmission based off of a manual transmission design. After reading nightmare stories online of other peoples experiences with this vehicles transmission it seems like Im lucky it went that many miles. So at first I took it to the dealer who said the battery was bad causing the issues. They soaked me for a battery and then subsequently stated, well while the battery was bad now we can see the clutch and many other internal parts on the transmission need replacing. Many thousands of dollars. Since I felt robbed from the battery diagnosis, I wasnt gonna allow them to do the transmission. At this point, I had the car towed to Borker.Vito at Booker was well versed in this odd transmission and had all the speciality tools on hand needed to replace the internal transmission parts. No BS, no soaking me for parts I didnt need, all while saving me almost $1000.00 from the dealer cost. I was also back up and running after a few days. What more can you ask for.

Good morning, what I can say about this place is they have a nice attitude towards customers the problem is I dont think they know what theyre doing if you dont know not just say it, to hold a car for 5 days and just say I could still figure it out it doesnt work for a customer I took my truck in there and I told him you might need to flash the computer, the owner told me it will be $250 to get the computer flashed but he wasnt sure if that will fix the problem so I paid the $290 labor and took my car to the dealer.The dealer flashed the computer for $180 and now my car is doing good. All Im saying is if you dont know whats going on then maybe you should youll say it

I brought my car there about three years ago to have a transmission replaced. Very nice people there, but I had to keep calling 4 or 5 days after they had my car. I wasnt getting any type of update what was going on or how much this would cost me. By the time I got to the shop my transmission was in a million pieces. Then Im told what the price was going to be after it was stripped. I got my car towed out of there. It was a total unconvince at the time having to take of two jobs for a week. A very disappointing experience.

I bought my 18 year old SUV in for transmission fluid change it is a sealed transmission Vito was able to change 9 quarts of fluid and change the filter with out doing a FLUSH which can be problematic for a truck of that age now my truck rides like new the truck changes gears SMOOTH and the price of the service was VERY REASONABLE I recommend Broker Transmission to anyone who has trouble with their transmission or service Great job guys!

About 3 years ago I took my 1963 Lincoln Continental to this shop to have my transmission rebuilt!!! My trans was never fixed correctly, they also charged me 3,300$ for a trans that was never fixed!!! I brought my Lincoln back to them several times and it was also the same problem. I can not believe this place is an 5 star!!!! I have my Lincoln at Tab Transmission in Iselin right now, 3/15/17 and they are doing a great job. The things that Bill explained to me made me feel comfortable about my Lincoln. I regret ever meeting Veto and letting Borker rebuild my transmission, 3,300$ down the drain!!! This has to be the worst transmission shop in NJ. Shame on the owner and his workers as Borker!! Im passed that I even have this dump of an shop 1 star.
