Whoa! Great place! The food reminded me of the taste of the old bodegas in BK, when I used to eat breakfast on the subway. Great pleasant surprise in Bayonne and will return during my long walks from 54th street.

I was definitely drawn to the name of the place. Especially because I just moved to jersey from New York and was feeling super nostalgic. The place definitely delivers and in a very quick and accurate fashion. The owner is super friendly and very down to earth which I can always appreciate. Its nice to have a bagel spot I can count on again even when Im far from Manhattan.

I stopped in Manhattan Bagel on Broadway in Bayonne late this morning my first time in this establishment very neat and clean store great interior and very comfortable everything was fresh service was great had a breakfast cheese steak sandwich I took home a half a dozen bagels I will definitely be back

Go somewhere else, anywhere else.This morning I ordered a plain bagel with butter, a toasted blueberry bagel with cream cheese, a chocolate chip muffin and chai tea latte... all were bad. The plain bagel had a TON of butter, the blueberry bagel was not toasted and when I bite into it, I felt something plastic (a plastic film was in the cream cheese), the muffin was as hard as a rock and the chai tea latte was given to me without a sleeve and when I tasted it, it had zero flavor. Everything had to get thrown out. It was a waste of time and money.

I didn like this place. Bagels are ordinary and tasteless..

This place is literally the worse place to order from. I’ve order from this place 4 times because of the convenience of it being local but EVERY SINGLE TIME there’s a issue with my order. They refuse to refund any order even if your willing to send the food back and they do not care about any ALLERGIES you may have. My favorite part this time was I order a side of bacon, got charged the side of bacon and sends me two white and pink slices of bacon wrapped in aluminum foil like a bad drug deal. 😐 if I could give this place negative stars I would . Seriously do not bother ! Not worth the hassle for a breakfast sandwich.

Good for a quick bite. Typical cafe setting. I ordered a multigrain bagel with vegetable cream cheese and grabbed a Blackberry Lemonade from a self service station. The bagel was delicious but the lemonade was too sweet. Service was prompt since it was after 1 in the afternoon.

I just went here for the first time this morning in a rush to the work; the bagel was so bad Im stopping somewhere else on my way to work because I cant start my day off with such an awful breakfast. I ordered an everything bagel toasted, Taylor ham and cheddar, ketchup and pepper. When tasting my bagel on my way to work I discovered the bagel was doughy and not toasted, no ketchup, no pepper, the meat was undercooked(tasted old), and the cheese was Kraft cheese out if the packet. Like I cannot tell the different between cheddar and Kraft plastic sealed cheese! 🤦

Great bagel! One little thing is they really dont need to put the extra salt and pepper on the bacon egg and cheese sandwich.. The meat is already so seasoned. Quick and convenient breakfast spot.

Clean, comfortable coffee/bagel shop with good coffee, tasty food. Free refills on coffee if youre staying there! Decent number of outlets. Free WiFi! I only wish they were open later. It would definitely be my go-to study spot if they were open late.

First time stopping at this Manhattan Bagel and very disappointed. Ordered half a dozen bagels and not only were they stale, but they also lacked flavor. The cheddar jalapeno bagels were very bland and nothing compared to the ones at other Manhattan Bagel stores. The everything bagels (pictured) were different sizes and didnt have enough seasoning on them. Unfortunately will not be returning.

I have a breakfast place right next door to me. I wanted to try something different. Ordered two days in a row (Uber Eats). Manhattan Bagels food is that good. Havent went inside yet but will soon. Blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese, my absolute favorite, hands down. I cannot complain about anything.

I’ve been their customer for years now for me and my family and I personally go almost every week. I always take jalapeño bagel and i always take what is left in the store. Today the cashier saw my face she just got all the jalapeño bagel that she has and said to me that next time call us before to make an order because when you come and take all of them we set the rest if the day without any of them!!!!!!!! How a cashier tell a regularly customer that!!!!! I was shocked when she said that because all the employees knew me and they’ve been treated me so nice and kind with meEven though i like their bagel but i dont think i will enter that store ever again

Great food!!! The breakfast sandwich was as requested, however the iced coffee wasnt so great. Perhaps adding a variety of flavors like French vanilla or cookie dough, etc.

So far this place is my favorite for bagels. They have everything I crave from breakfast to lunch. If you are a coffee lover than ull be in coffee heaven with all the variety they offer.

I went to work there one time and the owner let me work for the whole day.. washing everything and cleaning, swiping the floor as well in the first day then he told me I’ll call you later... then he let someone called me and telling me you’re not good for this job and he didn’t even pay me for this day!

Ordered through Uber Eats. Store did not take any care in reading the requests. Both sandwiches were wrong. Steak sandwich was tiny for $10.

This is not a bagel shop as much as it is a fast food restaurant. The orders are incorrect more than half the time and are over priced. They charge for double meat and eggs when it is on a croissant or roll but is the same contents as any other bagel sandwich. Coffee is left to sit for hours and they are insistent with the drinks supplied. Somehow a tablespoon of salad justifies their ridiculous prices. Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option.

Absolute worst customer service Ive ever had. We were asked to confirm our (very simple) orders three times. They appear to have limited sanitary training as unwrapped bagels were placed on the counter near the register before being moved to food safe surfaces for cutting. The manager (on Saturdays) appears to be the owners son and he acts like it. Does no managing and just eats and drinks behind the register while ignoring people trying to pay and get out of this place. Ill never go back and Ill tell others to as well.

Service is good and fast. The only thing that didnt sit well with me is that the employees wear gloves but dont take it off to take the money. The gloves are for grabbing food and keep things sanitary for the customers not to protect their hands.

I ordered a toasted sesame bagel with butter. The bagel was barely toasted; the butter spread didnt even melt onto it. I was rushing to work so I just had to microwave the bagel at my office.

Good Food, Great Place but the only issue is when you call for your food the phone is always off the hook meaning the line is busy & idk if it’s because they don’t hang it up correctly.. but I placed a order at 9:00 I’m still waiting for my delivery & I keep calling it’s its saying it’s busy still been calling for 30 Mins & this isn’t the first time this happens every 3 days I order

Its a great spot for a nice selection of quality bagels. The staff are all really nice, and I really liked the box of dozen bagels with two containers of cream cheese to take out on the road from NJ to FL. I stayed in Bayonne for a few days and I made Manhattan Bagel a morning routine.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered via grubhub. Once an hour passed, I decided to call to ask how long the order will take to arrive. I was not able to ask anything because I was hung up on 3 times. The food finally arrived and it was gross. Would never go back or recommend to anyone.

I placed an order through Uber Eats and I am very disgusted with my order. I ordered the thintastic avocado blt and the order came thrown into the bag, the sandwich was completely damaged and inedible. In addition, the order did not include avocado. I will never order from here again.

Good food, bad everything else. The service is awful, inattentive, and borderline hostile. The coffee was stone cold, lots of alerts flashing on the pots, no atrempt to brew fresh. But the bagels, lox, etc, are delicious.

The experience has changed. They are slow and messy. Ordering a bagel with cream cheese takes 25 mins! The staff is nice but that does not make up for the slow service. The previous staff was faster and more efficient. Being the only breakfast spot next to work makes it so difficult not to keep coming here. For a breakfast and coffee place, it amazes me that the customer needs to tell them that they have no coffee, milk or sugar.

Ordered delivery from here and called an hour after waiting and was told it should arrive in 5 minutes. After another 30 minutes go by, I call back and the employee says he would call the driver and figure out what the issue was then would be calling me back. I never received a call back, then when I called for the third time, he basically calls me a liar and says the delivery was ordered and wouldnt do anything to refund my order or redeliver. My initial delivery instructions say to call upon arrival, so I know there was never an attempt in the first place. The guy I spoke to on the phone was very rude and would not hear me out at all. Very disappointing and will never be going back.

I love the food, yet they need organization . Placed order over the phone, was told order will be ready to pick up in 5 minutes . I sent my husband to go pick up because I’m pregnant and when he got there order was not started and they ran out of all the items we ordered . While being there there was two different people coming in with same complaint . Now we are forced to eat elsewhere and wasted our time this morning . They did nothing to convince me to place another order .

Not the best bagels (go to Wonder Bagels, Broadway Bagels or PerkUp Cafe) BUT the best boxed lunches...pickle, one side, napkin, utensils+yummy in point sandwiches.

I am usually the best at reviewing places... I eat out 3 times a day and usually never even leave reviews unless I absolutely feel others should know about my experience. I ordered online this morning for breakfast, and it was by far the worst experience Ive ever had.... First off they disregarded all my requests for sides (sauces, utensils, napkins). secondly, there was barely any steak or egg on the bagels, and the omelet wrap was more wrap than egg or anything, I did not see an omelet... Usually breakfast spots are awesome with packed delicious sandwiches and very generous... I felt like my $27 for 3 breakfast sandwiches should have been less than $6, thats how little food and effort there was..... I am sorry I ever clicked the order button....
