Absolutely awesome! This little cafe is the perfect way to start your day. The owner is so inviting and warm, it was amazing. Everyone there seemed to be a regular and he made us feel just like we had been eating there for years. He made stellar recommendations, drinks were piping hot, and food was perfect.

This is a hidden gem in Bayonne. I was in the area for another reason and found this cafe. It is cozy with rustic industrial decor. The staff is super friendly, they made me feel welcome. I ordered the avocado toast with arugula and lemon. It is served on thick toasted baguette slices that tasted fresh-baked. And I had it with a soy milk sugar-free butterscotch latte. It was all delicious. Parking is somewhat of an issue on Broadway but I did find a space with no problem.

The BEST place to get just about any type of coffee you desire. I have been walking past it for months and never thought of buying a cup of coffee. Then one day I decided to have a cup of espresso and that hooked me. Best cup of espresso Ive had outside of an Italian restaurant. Ive been going there ever since. This is a must go place for coffee lovers. You MUST try it. Also, the staff is pleasant & engaging. Music in the background is pleasant to the ear. Im not one to write reviews but Perk Up is the exception to the rule. Please make an effort to get a cup of whatever coffee you desire and tell me what you think. You can actually have a regular cup of Joe.
