Great ice cream, generous portions and plenty of outside seating . Yum!

Overall experience is five out of five. The ice cream was good, milkshakes will bring the boys to the yard. Service is what you would expect from adolescents, hit or miss on service. Donnie was exceptional, young lady on drive through can eat dirt, rude and rushed us when she wasn’t even helping us. I tried a couple of things creamy, rich flavors. I will go back to try Italian ices.

During my visit I ordered the medium size serving which included 2 scoops of their home made hard ice cream for $3.75.Thats a relatively good deal, cheaper than other local shops like Torico. You may get better value in buying a pint if you already have a favorite flavor.Both the pistachio and the cookie dough flavors were very good. They had a subtle sweetness (which I like), were creamy, and had good portions of pistachio and dough to nibble on.There is a parking lot with an outdoor seating area available. Also they offer drive through service. However, the drive thru line seems to get longer than walk in. So I advise that you just park and grab your scoop.It seems to be a family owned business. They are CASH ONLY and tax seems to be included in the price, which makes their pricing an even better bargain.Normally the servers are polite. But during my last visit when I brought a big group of about 10 customers to try out their ice cream, the clerk got my second round of orders wrong. For one set of 4 orders he charged me for 5 ice creams instead.When I attempted to correct him showing him that there are only 4 people in front of him ordering and yet he gave me 5 separate ice cream servings, the man said well I cant take the ice cream back and cant refund!Now of course this is really not an excuse since he got the orders wrong. When I pushed that fact he disgruntedly gave me the refund for one ice cream. However, when I calculated everything after I left the stand, I realized that he actually overcharged me for TWO extra ice cream servings, not just one!Overall, this spot has good ice cream, at reasonable prices and is conveniently located. If they teach their staff to handle customer service issues better then theyll be 4 stars.But after my last experience theyll get a 3 star and I doubt Ill ever bring a large group there again to avoid the potential headaches with large orders. So always check that you got the right order and that you got charged the right price before you walk away!

Local spot for Italian ice. The Italian ice is on point, I personally don’t care for the ice cream as your left with an after taste. The prices aren’t bad but they can come down a bit for sure. I never understood the drive through as it’s a bit dangerous to be honest but aside from that, give them a shot.

Ive been going here for ice cream and Italian ices for over 15 years now. Always used to get so excited coming here as a kid. Still has the best ice cream in Bayonne without a doubt too. Always look forward to them reopening after every winter.

Great ice cream, its not like the boxed stuff from the grocery store freezer isle, its much richer and creamier. The first time there the difference may throw you off but its now my families favorite place to go. The service is always great too, the students in there work like crazy on nice days.

A Bayonne staple with many options from soft serve to hurricanes to slushies. Their soft serve ice cream is definitely some of the best (its very creamy and not icy). The toppings offered are great, but for certain toppings, they do make it a sundae and its more money. Everything is delicious and I recommend it for any ice cream fan! Theyre cash only so keep that in mind, and since its walk up, it can get very crowded during the summer.

Dont come here based on the times google states. This business has its seasons, and even when in season they open and close without respecting and acknowledging the business hours posted. Expect to waste your time.They got some distinctive flavors that will have you back, but not to go crazy about. Nice to try- thats really all to it.

Went last night for my standby chocolate egg cream and was so disappointed. First off, the kid didnt know how to make it and it is something I get often. Then they tried to overcharge me $4. Whats worse is it was terrible and my birthday dessert. Need to train all staff on all desserts.

I havent had the greatest experiences at Magic Fountain, however it always has an extremely long line, so maybe Im missing something. We live closer to Carvel and prefer to just go there for ice cream. Originally I was looking for a larger variety of flavors than Carvel offers but that is not what I found. Also both ice cream flavors we got were icey, not creamy.

Delicious home made ice cream. They have wonderful sundaes and shakes and many flavor options. Its just a little structure walk-up, but they also have a drive-thru and parking lot. There are a few picinic benches in an open area to sit and eat. The area is covered above and is well lit.
